We absolutely loved this sit. Joan and Eric made us feel very welcome and were very easy to communicate with. Rasty was a highlight! He was loving and also highly entertaining during our morning walks.....he loved chasing the sticks we threw. Feeding the chickens and bantams was no trouble at all and we actually enjoyed their company. Joan and Eric’s home is very comfortable and lovely with a beautiful garden. We highly recommend this sit to anyone wanting to experience some ideal small village country life.
It was a pleasure caring for Toots. She greeted me with excitement and friendliness. It was a short sit and throughout, she was fairly laid back and independent (napping or hopping on and off the couch) with a bit of cuddle and play in between. She was also easy to walk. She would dash to get outside, but once outside prepare to go slow so she can smell everything along the way! It’s pretty cute. She was comfortable seeing other dogs and stopped at the corners and waited patiently for lights to change. She was even patient with me as I captured some pics of local art. The area has everything nearby - grocery stores, coffee shops, drugstores, restaurants, and is nearby attractions. Great location. Metty was communicative throughout and super pleasant from the start. I appreciated her immediate warmth and happy to have been able to connect with her and care for Toots!
I absolutely adore Marcelo the gorgeous feline! He is so smart, soft, sweet, and funny. Although adventurous — loving to explore the outdoors and hang in his garden — he certainly found time for human affection and attention. I loved petting him at night on the sofa, and during the days visiting me whilst working from the beautiful kitchen nook with fabulous morning night. Shilpa and George were very welcoming, showing me everything before their departure, and staying in touch for any questions. Their home feels like a English cottage - or a "Hollywood bungalow" ~ in WeHo! A fabulous location in the middle of so much culture and on a lovely neighbourhood walk street! I highly recommend this sit — although I hope to come back again soon myself! :-)
