We were so lucky to spend a month of summertime on Salt Spring Island with Rocky - he is the biggest, sweetest, goofiest pup! It was lovely to spend time at Kahsia & Ware’s beautiful home…the views are incredible, the neighbors are wonderful, and the trails behind the house are a fabulous way to spend time in nature (and give Rocky some exercise!). It was also a blast to take Rocky to the beach for some retrieval fun. Caring for the yard and garden and house took a fair amount of time (since we were there for a month during harvest season), but enjoying fresh produce from the garden was a welcome byproduct of the effort! Not to mention, cooking in the kitchen was a treat. We have a big spot in our heart for Rocky and his family, and hope our paths cross again soon!
We really enjoyed our stay at Brad and Vicki’s. They have a beautiful home in a lovely neighbourhood which is very close to the bus stop so easy to get around. Brad and Vicki are great hosts, giving us all the information we needed to take care of Billy and make ourselves feel at home prior to the sit. They are very generous and even gave us a lift to our hostel after the sit. Billy is a great dog to look after, he loves his walks but when he is at home he is very happy chilling in one of his many beds or joining you sunbathing by the pool. The dog park is a 10 minute walk away and is right on the swan river which is a stunning spot. Thank you Brad and Vicki for opening up your home to us. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back if we are ever in Perth again.
Really nice sit. Alexis was really kind, communicative and her apartment was immaculate and had all the conveniences. Mars, seriously, was the best walker I've ever met. Super excited for adventures and really a joy on the leash - neither sniffed eternally or yanked your arm sockets out. Just went with the flow!
Mia and Pepper were the sweetest! They are both so smart, well-trained, and loving! I absolutely loved spending time with them. The home and area were great - plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby! Would sit for them again in a heartbeat!
I absolutely loved this sit. Esther and Marty are lovely and welcoming people. We had great, thorough communication around everything I needed to know before they left for their trip. Their home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with such a lovely view of the water that put a smile on my face everyday. Their neighborhood is probably the nicest in Tacoma, and I loved taking walks along the water and admiring everyone’s beautiful gardens & landscapes. And Taz - I totally fell in love with him! He’s a character and great communicator. He had me trained to his likes and dislikes right away. He’s really social, and wanted to be near me wherever I was most of the day, without being on top of me, although I felt special when he did choose to curl up on my lap on occasion. He loves being petted, interacting, and is a totally purr monster. I really appreciated spending time in Esther & Marty’s home, and having Taz adopt me for a couple of weeks! ;) I highly recommend this sit.
I thoroughly enjoyed my sit for Jonathan. Tinks was adorable & great off the lead, and on. She is very affectionate & we bonded very well. The cottage has some fabulous walks nearby and a lovely garden. I slept really well while there , and Jonathan was very chatty & helpful. Would definitely sit there again.
