Rover is an absolute darling to look after. He is very well trained and such a sweetheart to sit. Nathan’s communication was great and made the sit really easy, his property is stunning and it was a real treat to be in such a fantastic location. 10/10 sit would love to do again and would highly recommend to anyone!
It was such a delight to look after the cats Porthos and Aramis. Some of the friendliest and most affectionate cats I’ve ever met! The house was lovely to stay in- clean, comfortable and a beautiful space to relax and cook in. The outdoor seating and garden are such a treat to be in when the sun shines! Jo was very responsive in her communication and I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The house is in a great area, right near shops and restaurants and a short bus ride or drive to Bristol city centre where there’s loads to do. I’d happily house sit for Jo and her family again!
Looking after Rascal was our first house sit. I think we were spoilt! Rascal is so delightful you will find it hard to leave her! Chris and Eileen were so very welcoming and informative. They were very keen to ensure that we would be comfortable in their home whilst they were away, which of course, we were. They made sure that we were familiar with Rascal's routine and walks. They provided detailed maps of local walks as well as information on places to eat and to visit. They also put us in touch with their local walking group so that we could meet some of their friends. We enjoyed the company of Rascal so much that we hope we will be picked if Chris and Eileen go travelling again.
I had a wonderful sit at Pierrick's and Michael's. Their home is comfortable, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with good transport links. Michael and Pierrick were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The cats are great - Vivi is a little bit more reserved and Jimmy is a big cuddle buddy. I recommend this sit, thank you Michael and Pierrick!
A fantastic sit by any measure. Martine and Mark are a very welcoming, easygoing couple. Their beautiful home is warm, comfortable and spacious with spectacular views, including Chief Mountain. A bonus is that Frisco is a quaint mountain town with a lot of friendly people. Chewy and Kylo are wonderful, filled with positive energy and rarely without a tennis ball—or two—in their mouths ready to play fetch or tug-o-war. They also enjoy a lot of head scratches and shoulder massages. And both will let you know if you stop scratching too soon, especially Chewy who will tap you with his paw to keep going. I completed the sit with my 12-pound dog, Annie, and although Chewy and Kylo are much larger than her, the three of them became fast friends hanging out and even wrestling/playing together. Not a cross word between them. Perfect gentlemen who didn’t even try to steal Annie’s food at dinner time like big brothers tend to do. Chewy and Kylo are also great house companions and generally stayed close by, especially Kylo who slept in the doorway of our bedroom every night standing guard and was the first to greet us in the morning tail wagging with a tennis ball in his mouth. Annie and I would definitely like to visit and sit for Martine, Mark, Chewy and Kylo if we’re ever in the area again. Thank you, Martine and Mark, for inviting Annie and I into your home. Give Chewy and Kylo big hugs for us.
This sit may have been our favourite yet! Courtney and Preston are just all around GREAT people with three beautiful pups an absolutely stunning house in a fantastic area of the city. They left us ample information so when we walked in we immediately felt comfortable and knew exactly what was needed. The pups all have their own individual personalities and are really really special. Ty is a sweet little lamb who wouldn’t hurt a fly. He just wants his walks and his pets and to chill out. So soft and sweet. Lula is the most affectionate wannabe lap dog who shows actual unconditional love. Girl doesn’t realize she weighs anything more than Whisky so we she comes to snuggle, be prepared. 💪 Whisky is a little grumpy old man in THE cutest way. He truly may have been our favourite of the 3. He doesn’t allow pets or touching of any kind and isn’t afraid to show his teeth, but he has so much love and just wants to be around you. We still got our snuggles in- they were just on his terms. Nothing to note other than Whisky can and will jump on the counter and eat your food so be careful what you leave out but all around this was a fantastic sit and we would highly recommend it if you’re able! Seriously Courtney and Preston are 11/10 humans and we are grateful to have met them!
