We’re very grateful to Catherine for a first class house sit. Jinny was a delight to look after. She loved to be outside but when she came in she was extremely affectionate and enjoyed lots of strokes and head rubs and a few Dreamies! Catherine’s house is warm and cosy, beautifully furnished, and with the most incredible views of the mountains from the big gable end window. We loved sitting there watching the wild weather moving in, and the cloud descending on the tops whilst we were warm inside. There were stunning walks to do straight from the house and a wonderful tea shop just down the road. We loved our time here utterly! Thank you again Catherine and Jinny.
Had a lovely time looking after sweet Mowgli! He was so cute and loved to play. Alice and Will were very kind and welcoming. Their home was lovely and had a great work set up. Mowgli loved to come in for a morning and evening cuddle. He had a cat door but never came in too late so we didn’t have to worry. He knows his food schedule well so will always come on time! He was truly such a dream to look after. Thank you Alice and Will for a great sit!
Jill invited me to stay over about a week before the sit. She welcomed me into her Queen Bee home with warm, open arms and a lot of trust. The first night over, she and her friend prepared for vision boards and I got to join the party. Her pets are friendly with a lot of character. Her dog, Gracie, is well trained and fun to take on walks. Her cat upstairs is quite independent. Jill texted me often for check ins, which I appreciate. She gifted me clothes that no longer fit her daughter who moved out of town. As a bonus, I was allowed access to her ‘She Shed’ to work on creative projects. Jill has been an extremely generous host and I have really enjoyed her company. It felt like a real retreat. Thank you, Jill!
Gidgee & Poppy met me with incredible excitement! They are lovable fun loving dogs who are so delighted with life.. The house was lovely and spacious and the walks nearby are wonderful.. The birds, turtle and bunny were all easy to mind and were all so good natured. I had great communication with Mel and would recommend this pet sit without hesitation.
This was a very excellent home-and pet-sit. Joyce and Don were extremely helpful hosts who made sure to anticipate all of the information that a sitter would need to know about the home, the pets, the neighbors and the town. It is a lovely house in an area surrounded by many national and state parks where you can hike and bike to your hearts content. Tommy and Norma are affectionate, ‘purry and furry’ little buddies who will make your visit even more worthwhile!
I had a delightful experience at Rosie's in Buchlyvie and would highly recommend a sit here. The sitting entailed looking after two sweet dogs, Bramble and Truffle, along with minor care for poultry. Bramble is sight-impaired and yet perfectly capable of moving around her known surroundings independently and following voice/footsteps. When walking the dogs along the private walking path, she joyfully explored along the way, running ahead with confidence. The chickens and ducks go in the henhouse on their own by dusk. The chores were only to secure the hen-house in the evening; picking eggs and easy feeding in the morning when opening the hen house up. Rosie was generous with instructions and was available throughout by mobile. The private ensuite was lovely and tidy; the main kitchen/living area welcoming and comfortable for working, reading or relaxing. Internet wifi was fast and uninterrupted. The house location does requires a car.
