This was a beautiful place to house sit . Colin and Murray are such good natured , well behaved dogs. They can be walked without a lead when doing close to home walks - admittedly this always makes me nervous to do with other people’s pets , but these guys were very easy, didn’t wonder far and would come when called . Lovely comfortable unit , so close to the city by ferry . Anna and Pete are very welcoming and available if needed. Had no problems here and would readily sit again for this lovely little family.
Damian and Sophie, thank you for giving us the opportunity to sit two amazing and unique dogs. It's been 2 days since we finished this house sit, and we already miss Pablo and Blakie tremendously. They have so much love to give, and all they ask is for some more love in exchange. We would definitely do this sit all over again. The house was perfect, with a very well equiped kitchen. The facilities were also exceptional. Pablo and Blakie are two of the most loving dogs we've ever met. If you get the chance to meet Damian and Sophie, you'll easily understand why. I had an absolutely wonderful time at Christine & Jim's lovely home taking care of their beautiful dog Rosie. You couldn't ask for a better sit. Christine and Jim are so kind, thoughtful and helpful. Just wonderful people. Great comunication leading up and throughout. They kindly picked me up from airport and cooked a couple of meals for me. It's a lovely home and in beautiful location, with excellent spots to walk in nature reserve or along river, and very close to city, easy for public transport. Rosie is a beautiful girl, a big teddy bear. She became my shadow whilst I was there and we had a great time together. Christine has done a wonderful job with her training and Rosie is so well behaved, and easy to manage. She has a lovely nature and just loves hanging out with you. Thisi was easily one of my favourite sits and I feel blessed to have been able to stay here and take care of Rosie. Thank you Christine and Jim.
I absolutely loved sitting for Lily and Shirley! Lily is a very friendly, lovable pup that loves to play, go on long walks and snuggle. Shirley was a little aloof but then really warmed up-she made me want to adopt a cat! Would highly recommend these awesome pets if you're looking for a quiet spot in a beautiful home. As a native Long Islander, I found the location to be great-close to shopping, diners, and family. If you are not from/familiar with Long Island, it might be a little bit out of the way. Was perfect for me as I work remotely. Loved how clear the directions were that Ronnie left-I had everything I needed and so did Lily and Shirley. I miss my pals and look forward to sitting for them in the future. XOXOXO
It was a pleasure to cat sit for Lynda. Her cats are very lovely, the flat is beautiful and it is a great location, Carouge is a cute area of Geneva. Everything is accessible by trains and buses. Lynda is also kind and very hospitable. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity!
Gus the main coon cat is a cool kind a guy and a big softy. Really enjoyed his company and he's not very demanding: just his main coon cat kibble topped up and a bit of wet food am and pm, appreciates a head/chin stroke and a play with his toys. Otherwise he does his own thing. Rachel and Nick were very friendly and easy-going. They left good instruction on how to look after Gus and tips on facilities in the area. Emsworth is a gem of a place and very well located for coast and country activities. The house and garden were beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Overall a very good sit and we would recommend and happily sit again.
