Laura and Pablo were very kind. I went the day before the sitting to learn how it worked, we had a good chat and all the instructions were very clear and easy.
Nube is the cutest miniature podlee there can be! I loved sharing with her and going everywhere. She is very easy to be with, since she is very calm and a fan of her balls, so the stay was very pleasant with her. In addition, he behaves very well at home and outside. With humans she is extremely affectionate and playful. With other dogs she is friendly too. Simply a luxury to have shared with the sweet Nube in London.
Thank you very much Laura, Pablo and Nube ☁️💖

We had a lot of joy taking care of the house and the 4 cats. The house is welcoming, functional and has a beautiful garden. The surrounding nature is wonderful, and the location is very quiet and accessible (with a car). Hilde and Chris are very welcoming, with good advice, and we really appreciated the fluidity of our exchanges and the trust they placed in us.
We didn't take care of the dog, who was lucky enough to be allowed to go on vacation with his owners this time!
We highly recommend this listing!

We absolutely loved looking after Lola and Elsie. They were such a joy, and so well behaved. Lots of different walks to be done in the area.

I had a wonderful experience sitting for Shannon and Dale. Hayley is an adorable, happy pup – she loves being cuddled, hugged, and petted – and loves playing. I miss her already! Their home is lovely (I think I have become a recliner convert) and the neighbourhood is so quiet. Very rural, about 20 min away from Ladysmith, and the same to Nanaimo. Shannon had arranged playdates with neighbours and it was delightful. The neighbourhood is dog heaven - nearby Hemer Park was a great place to take Hayley for doggie walks (she impressed and delighted other dog walkers with her "two paws up"), and the Sunday Cedar Road Farmers Market was a highlight. Thank you Shannon and Dale for making me welcome, and I would return in a heartbeat!

Churchill and Cheetah are just adorable, easy going, well behaved and much fun to take care of.

Churchill was clearly not happy when his family left. However, he accepted me right away and ended up sleeping in my bed and requesting cuddles, play time, and walks. He is a very sweet and quiet dog.
I was trying to take it slow because he’s already 12 years old, but once Churchill figured that he can actually run with me, it was hard to convince him to go slow. I took one of the bikes to keep up with him and kept him on the leash until he slowed down because he is not too good with following commands. He listened best to whistling.
He got very excited when I took the leash and that’s actually the only time when I heard him bark or howl like a wolf. He is well behaved, good with most other dogs, and stayed around me most times.

Cheetah is the most adorable tiny kitty. I absolutely loved her and her beautiful dense coat. She is very friendly, quite vocal and loves to cuddle. She would follow me everywhere and loved to sleep next to me. She and Churchill mostly come in a package and where she goes, he is not far away. She was even waiting at the window when we came back from our walks.

The aquarium was pretty easy to take care of. Basically, adding water, feeding the fishes and once per week the corals, and adjust the lighting during each day. It was amazing watching the corals and snails eating.

The chickens were fun and were waiting each morning to get some kitchen scraps and fresh water. I got them grapes because they really love them.
Angrietta, introduced to me as being mean, is actually pretty nice if she’s treated nicely and bribed with grapes. She is just a little more sensitive than the others but warmed up once I showed her some kindness and then she let me even pet her.
She doesn’t like to give up her eggs so I gave her some space and took them when she was roaming outside. She left the eggs and ran to the fence once I taught her that me calling her means getting grapes.

Kelly and David were very welcoming and relaxed. They provided clear printed instructions and demonstrated important things in person. They were always responsive and reachable. I felt comfortable also staying with them 1 day before and after my sit. I was even invited to dinner and morning coffee, what I appreciated very much.

The house is clean, spacious, and well equipped. It is located in a safe, quiet residential area but close to the airport and downtown. I loved the pool and the nice cabana. The garden needs some time to take care of, especially if it’s not raining.

Unfortunately, I was not available to extend my stay to cover another sit there right after but I would be happy to come back another time to take care of these adorable animals at this great home. Highly recommended if one wants to spend nice holidays with incredible sweet pets at a great location.

Lovely, comfortable home with an adorable, active dog squad! Coco and Mimi are two comedic dogs you’d love to hang out with, super playful and loving, they were the ones that kept me entertained during my stay. lol!

On the other hand, Michelle was a great, and reliable host - she was generous to let me stay a couple more days and I enjoyed our shared time laughing at her dog squad antics, meeting her brilliant son Oskar and even just life stories. Lucky to have met this family!

Also, they have a very safe neighborhood, close to nice parks, accessible to the light rail and not to mention, a very comfortable home with so much character and stories. You’ll have a great time here!
