Adam and Katie were awesome! I donβt think our pets knew we were gone! We have slightly unusual pets other than dogs and I am always a little hesitant leaving them but Adam and Katie were up for the task, followed all instructions and asked all the right questions . Our house was just as we left it and we would love if they would sit for us again! Thank you Adam and Katie!
It was great getting to know Pluto and having him as my companion! He is an independent while vocal and playful cat who lets you know when he wants food, petting, playtime, or to be let outside in the morning. Super easy sit! Nick was such a kind host - Ieaving me delicious snacks and letting me borrow his binoculars when he heard I was into birdwatching. I needed to go away to a wedding for a weekend during the month long sit and he was super gracious and let me coordinate with his kind neighbors. Def a great location in Oakland with parking right in front! Spend time with Pluto if you can <3
Rachael is a great host. I appreciated how easy she was to communicate with. Her home is very comfortable and well decorated. The location is excellent. I worked remotely while I was sitting for her and the dedicated workspace and internet was great. Birdie is the best. She has a sweet and friendly temperament and we were best friends by the time I left. Sheβs super easy to care for and fun to play with. I had a great experience and would definitely sit for Rachael and Birdie again if our schedules aligned.
Wonderful sit, in a wonderful house, with a wonderful dog in a wonderful location. Thoroughly recommend
Koko took a little bit to warm up but she was sitting by my side on the couch by the second day. The apartment was in a great location for exploring Austin and had some really nice amenities like a dog park, hammocks, a gym, and a pool. Ty for a great sit!
The neighbourhood was super cute and friendly, the instructions pretty detailed and the pets were sweet as can be. I would recommend this sit for people who are experienced in juggling multiple animals though as you have to be able to coordinate their needs. Scott an Audrey were very sweet pet parents and always available for questions. :)
I had a wonderful experience caring for Maggie (the dog), Kima and Putters (Ragdoll cats)! Maggie and Putters are total snuggle bugs. Kima was my shadow and sidekick. All three pets have wonderful dispositions and they made me laugh frequently! They are easy to care for and fun to be around. Angela and Les were also wonderful and I feel like I've made new friends. We met in person the day before the hand-off so I could get acquainted with Maggie and learn common commands, walking preferences and other things. I especially appreciated the detailed instructions and daily schedule so I could maintain the routine that the pets were accustomed to. Angela included information on some of the local trails, which Maggie and I thoroughly enjoyed walking. She also provided recommendations for restaurants and wineries, which were very good! Angela and Les's home is very clean, nicely appointed, spacious and comfortable. They live in a very quiet neighborhood and the people I met in the area were friendly. I feel blessed to have met Angela, Les, Maggie, Kima and Putters and I would definitely house and pet sit for them again. Five thumbs up across the board!
