What a wonderful experience this sit was! Bruce was so kind to pick us up at the ferry in St. Helier and welcomed us to his beautiful house in the pitoresque town of St. John. His absolutely gorgeous labrador lady Mitzie greeted us so enthusiatically that our hearts flew to her immediately! She is the most affectionate and kind dog you can imagine and is very well behaved. Bruces' house has all the amenities one can wish for and it is very tastefully laid out and equipped so that we immediately felt at home. Bruce generously provided us with a stock of groceries and travel infos that allowed us to settle down and start to discover this very beautiful area of the northern coast of Jersey on our walks with Mitzie. We enjoyed our time with Mitzie on the beautiful island of Jersey tremendiously and we would come back any time. Thank you so much Bruce for your kindness, it was a joy to get to know you and Mitzie. We already miss Mitzie very much.
I really enjoyed hanging out with Max and Enzo as well as getting to know Sarah and Dean. They have a wonderful house in a great location, they made me feel very welcome and the dogs are very well behaved and a pleasure to look after. I hope to sit for them again in the future!
It was such a pleasure to spend time with Sam and Zues, such sweet big strong boys. Sam is a bundle of love and Zues is a playful soul. Raquel and Chad are lovely kind people and wonderful hosts. Raquel stayed in touch throughout the sit and it was effortless working with her. Otto is a dream cat. He's a fairy cat towards strangers and will hide from anyone unknown for a while. After he gets to know and trust you, he's assertive about wanting your time for attention, pets, play and food. He knows what he wants, and how to get it :) He is a rare cat that will accept and ask for belly pets. A master of summersault kitty flops. I've never met a more considerate gentle kitty fellow - never using claws or bites to assert boundaries, but still kindly letting you know where his "lines" are. Otto is definitely one of my favorite cats that I've met on THS so far. If you love cats you already love Otto. Everything about the house was great and the listing + location is just as shown / described. Definitely a techie / nerd friendly house, which I adored. This sit is a LGBTQ+ friendly / safe space :) This was an easy going lovely sit and I would definitely return / recommend to others.
Stevie was very friendly and easy to like! Jasmine provided all the details needed for a successful sit and was very responsive to texts both before and during the sit. Her apartment is in a great location and was clean, light and airy. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay! We would highly recommend this sit!
