Eugenio, Bella & Attila were great hosts. Eugenio was easy to communicate with and answered immediately to our messages. The cats: Bella and Attila are lovely and friendly cats and it was hard to leave them. Both are very cuddly, playful and sweet. The house is beautiful and comfortable and Rovereto itself is very cute.
I had a wonderful time house and petsitting! The home was not only beautiful but also incredibly cozy. Max and Fitzy, the dogs, are bundles of energy and great companions. Geoffrey, although a bit shy at first, turned out to be a sweetheart who loves cuddles once he gets comfortable. It was a delightful experience overall. Thank you for entrusting me with your lovely pets and home!
Maggie is a legend. She is a bit shy and nervous, but very playful too. I sat on the floor watching telly and talking to Maggie and she eventually got curious and came over to me. After I passed the sniff test she would come over, tail wagging and bump me with her nose and play bite me, any sudden moves though she was back to the security of her bed.. I found she needed a bit of encouragement into her harness but once on she would happily take me for a walk. When we returned I let her out in the garden straight away and she would burn off some energy running about daft and playing chases with me. She was a gorgeous girl.
It was absolutely delightful meeting Hannah, Kees and their very sweet dog, Kiwi. Hannah and Kees were the most genuine, caring and welcoming pet parents and it was such a pleasure to look after Kiwi - a most gentle and sweet natured dog while Hannah and Kees completed a weekend course. Kiwi loved lying on the veranda, looking out at the beautiful view where she felt at peace with the nature, soaking up the sun and elements and serenity all around her. She had a beautiful calm presence. Occasionally we went down into the garden and lay in the grass amongst the lemon and orange trees but her favourite pastime was on her sheepskin rug up on the veranda. Even if it took a little persuasion with a dog treat to go out for her walks, Kiwi enjoyed her gentle strolls and most of all enjoyed the route, visiting the donkeys a short distance away, looking out onto the beautiful countryside. I received clear instructions for everything which was very helpful and Hannah and Kees’ house was comfortable and clean with a beautiful energy and in a quiet and peaceful area. The small town and surroundings of Puigpunyent is beautiful and I had the pleasure to be able to spend some quality time with Hannah and Kees in the evening when they came home from their course and enjoy the local summer festival that happened to be on that weekend. I so look forward to meeting Hannah and Kees again! This is a sit I would highly recommend. What a lovely family they are! :)
I had a lovely time looking after Boo in Jess’ beautiful home. Boo is such a sweet cat, a little timid at first, but quickly warmed up to me and became like my shadow. She is very easy to look after and was great company. The house is lovely and very cosy, with spaces to work from. There’s also a really lovely outside patio area which was lovely to sit out in the lovely weather. The area is really nice and has great pubs and cafes in walking distance. Jess is lovely and communication was very straightforward and easy. I would recommend to anyone wanting to watch Boo!
Housesitting for Rosie and Nigel was such a treat as we got to explore so many of the beautiful places that Cornwall has on offer. The communication with them was excellent and they made us feel very welcome, having scones, jam and clotted cream prepared for our arrival. Ida and Bruno were gorgeous and gave us hours of entertainment and enjoyment. We would highly recommend them to housesit for.
