We were very fortunate to be given this wonderful opportunity of pet sitting Dylan in Lyme Regis. Marc and Ragnhild are very generous hosts and made us feel very welcome from the start, while also communicating easily whilst away. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with modern facilities but easy to maintain. We love Lyme Regis – what a wonderful little town, so interesting for its culture and geology. We really enjoyed walking Dylan in country lanes or along the beaches: He is a lovable dog with lots of character, but very docile and easy to look after at the same time. So thank you again, Marc and Ragnhild, for your generous hospitality and giving us the chance to stay in your home in this gorgeous part of the world with Dylan. We would gladly come again!
We loved our stay at Camilla and Ben’s home, really a beautiful place. You feel secluded in the countryside yet close to Newbury which is convenient for food shopping and transport. Their home is comfortable and bright with great outdoor space, a well equipped kitchen and reliable wifi. Their property includes a really magical little pond and woodland area which Hampi will happily guide you through. Boy are we going to miss Hampi! Epitome of a gentle giant and just a really special dog. Their entire four legged crew are all wonderfully loving animals! Genghis is a cuddly puddle of love, Luna more reserved and independent but in no way shy of an affectionate moment. An absolutely delightful stay!
We had a great time with Chance and loved the house and location. Chance is an incredibly smart dog with an irresistible face. She is loving, active and all around great dog. Alexandras house has all the amneties you need for a short or long stay. There are great activities in the sorrounding areas including hiking, museums, and great diverse restaurants. The neighborhood is awsome for walking and exploring. We saw deer several times while taking Chance on walks. We miss this dog already and are grateful for an excellent experience.
Jana and Marko are such lovely people!! They made us feel so welcome and at home right away, and they have a beautiful flat in a great area. You'll fall right in love with Poe and Raf! They are adorable, sweet and intelligent kitties and we miss them!! This housesit was a fantastic experience and a highlight of our trip. Thanks, guys!
I had a blast housesitting for Cathy and Blue! I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable in the home and enjoyed lots of backyard time with Blue either laying in the hammock (Blue likes to sit on the hammock too!), playing with Blues toys or just running around. Blue is full of energy so it was nice to have a serious hiking buddy. Blue certainly knows how to chill. Definitely the most snuggly dog I have ever met and it was the best always having him right by my side. He became me little shadow quickly and I miss him already!
Had the pleasure to sit for two adorable cats; Willie and Nellie. They were curious and friendly - loved sleeping in the bed with me. Meredith and Ken's home is beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood. This sit was between Christmas and New Year's eve which was a festive place to be over the holidays. Meredith made everything easy and welcoming too.
