A tiny piece of heaven is the first thought that comes to mind when I think of this sit. Nestled back in the woods with a golf course and lake backdrop is how you will find this lovely home. As soon as you step out of your car, you are greater by the cutest little dog ever! After petting Susie, you stand up and take a big breath of that country air. You immediately take a stroll around the yard to take in some of the beauty before unpacking. After soaking up some fresh air and a little sun from amongst the large mossy trees, and throwing a stick a couple times for Susie, you enter through the carport door. A large open area consist of the kitchen and dining room, with a beautiful bay window with plants. The kitchen is very modern and easy to maneuver. The living room area makes you feel right at home and so does Susie as she glady takes her spot beside you on the couch. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom easily accessible. Mornings were great to sit on the covered deck area to eat breakfast or supper. Tbe rising and setting sun was beautiful through the moss hanging from the trees. The golfers were quite comical to watch. The hot tub is available on the deck. There are plenty of channels to watch on TV and wifi is available. If your not quite sure of the routine, Suzy has it down so just follow her lead. She loves going outside with you. She loves sleeping in the bed with you. She is very independent, yet loves attention. This is a sit where you definitely want to take everything you need with you. Blackshear is a very small town. Waycross is the next largest, approximately 10 miles away. On an upper note, it's close to many area attractions. You will definitely want to stop in Blackshear at the IGA where they still bag your ice cream in a brown bag. This small grocery store has that downtown feel with lots of quality products. It's definitely the place to shop. A BBQ grill is available to cook those meats on. If you are looking for a great sit...in an out of the way place, then this sit is for you! Oh! I almost forgot! Pamela and George are nice too!!!! Both were available any time I had a question. We communicated about things and they were happy to receive updates about Susie at any time! I look forward to going back.
I had a fabulous stay at Carrie and Perry’s apartment and spending time with Lexi was a treat. Lexi is so chill and sweet and really easy to care for. She walks really well and there are a lot of nearby trails so it was fun to explore different areas. She likes to spend time outside on the patio and will bark a single time to be let back in. She’s just so well behaved. The apartment and location were great. The space was clean and the bed was comfy. It was great to be able to park inside the garage! And wegmans was just a couple minute walk away. I highly recommend this sit and would be happy to come back any time.
Amazing house sitting experience! Barbara and Margarita are incredibly welcoming, going out of their way to make me feel at home including very generously offering the use of their car and picking me up from the airport. Gigi and Mika are excellent companions and were great fun to look after. Very modern and tidy apartment in a great location in sunny Corralejo only 5 mins walk from the beach. Would highly recommend 👍
One of the best experiences of my life! Vanessa and Pepe are a very lovable couple and with their kittens everyone is lucky. The area and the apartment were very nice, the owners trusting and always available and the cats were easy to care for. - Nobody owns a cat. As a human being, you are only a tolerated lodger, nurse and servant of the funny emperor. The 3 showed me that clearly 😻 I really enjoyed my time as a paw butler and hope to see them again.
We have spent a wonderful week with Milo on the Isle of Wight. Tony & Chris are very considerate & welcoming hosts and were flexible to our needs to make this sit work. Communication before & throughout was great and as an experienced sitter I appreciate the detailed welcome pack. They were kind enough to make us lunch on our first day (even providing a vegan option which was appreciated) and to take us to our hotel after a very long journey back on our last day. Milo took the first day to warm to us but honestly we’ve looked after more than 25 dogs and he is up there with the best of them. We didn’t arrive on the island by car but Milo is so good on the bus that we were able to explore as much as we liked. He is good on the lead in crowded areas though he prefers not to socialise too much with other dogs, only occasionally barking at some of the local hounds. Milo kept close to us in the house, quietly in his bed or with a cuddle on the sofa. Most of all, he is an playful little dog. He will sniff something, like a feather, and leap back in shock. Had us in hysterics. Such a great companion. Tony & Chris’s house is beautiful and comfortable and they have clearly worked so hard on it. They were clear from the start that returning to a clean and tidy house was important to them as they have been let down in the past. All sitters should leave their hosts homes in good conditions in our opinion and it’s important to us that we clean as we go so this was nothing out of the ordinary for us. Location wise the house is in the centre of the island and Newport so the bus station is only a six minute walk away and countless takeaways and restaurants are on the doorstep. Thank you so much Milo, Tony & Chris for letting us do this sit.

Andrea is a total dog lover! She has taken care of our dogs many times and they absolutely love being with her. She has her management system down to a science, which keeps her aware of every dog's needs. Her house and yard comfortably accommodate a mix of dogs and she means it when she says she shares all of the furniture with the dogs. Inn for Pups is a true home-away-from-home dog cuddling center. Maybe next time I should send my dogs on vacation so I can stay at Andrea's.

Inn for Pups is the best boarding facility, full stop. Actually, it's not a boarding facility -- it's her house. If you need your dog(s) taken care of (probably better than you do), this is where to go. Andrea treats each dog as if it's her own, including letting them sleep in her bed with her. Our dogs like her so much that they're more excited when they're dropped off than when they're picked up!
We have used Andrea to look after Cooper for many years now and have found her to be a loving, dedicated and professional pet care provider. She definitely provides a safe, secure and caring home for Cooper. Most importantly, when we leave Cooper with Andrea we feel very comfortable knowing that he will receive the same attention and care as when he is home with us.

Andrea at Inn for Pups does a wonderful job taking care of our dog Izzy. We have used her boarding services many times and are always satisfied with the great care she provides.
