I arrived at Tracy and bobs and was welcomed immediately by them and all the furry family... Bob showed me how everything worked and feeding for the cats was very easy.. Home was clean tidy and enjoyed my stay in the beautiful location of the new forest. Great walks and local pub next door and ponies at the kitchen window was lovely great for anyone needing some peace and calm in their lives 🦋
Rocky, Peanut and Pickle were the cuddliest trio, followed me everywhere and kept me in great company. Rocky and I enjoyed several walks, the area is beautiful as is the property. Lovely hosts with great communication.
Ramsey is a big softy who will do the cutest little prance with his front legs when he’s excited to see you, and he’ll nuzzle his nose into your legs if you give him a good rub from his head to is butt. Who doesn’t like a hood butt rub? He took me to all his favourite spots on our walks…his auntie’s, his gramma’s, the park and a school yard with a big puddle that he immediately (and happily) strolled right through. Thomas’s place is comfy and has a great energy…I’m pretty sure it’s the cool minerals, rock formations and crystals carefully placed around the apartment. As a geologist I’m sure he knows a bunch about them, I just know they look cool and give off good vibes. Instructions were simple and communication was excellent. I highly recommend you hang out with Ramsey. I’m grateful for the cuddles and truly miss him.
I had a lovely time house sitting Otta, Joan and Boudicca in Stonehaven. Otta is lots of fun and a genuine joy to be around! Emily was really accommodating to ensure everything with the trip went smoothly and I really enjoyed my time working and relaxing in the house and exploring the local area 😊
Llew and Griff were our best friends for 3 beautiful weeks in Cardiff. They had great personalities and were very well behaved. They went along with us on a few day trips. The house was lovely and comfortable. We highly recommend this location just steps from the train station and a brief stroll from the village. Housesitting for Wietse really felt like staying at a friend’s house. It was an unpretentious sit, with great cats and kind owners. They actually regularly checked in with me to see how I was like the city, which I found very thoughtful (and rare!). From the get go, the communication with Wietseke, Antonio was very easy and fluid. The stars of the house, Sam and Pim were easy to care for. They have distinct personalities, yet both are adorable and calm. We really created a routine during our time together and my heart pinched when it was time to say goodbye. As for the apartment itself, it is uphill, but in a convenient location, with a bus stop nearby. Not touristy at all (which I loved), yet close to 2 convenient store and not too far from Parc Guell. Even though the neighbourhood is super quiet, you will hear the neighbours from time to time. But it is Barcelona, and I have yet to found a place in the city where it is not the case. The sofa bed, though a bit thin was totally decent. There is not a lot of space for your personal items though as you’ll be staying in the office. It was fine with me as I packed light, but something to be aware of. And any remote worker will be happy working from home, as the internet works really well.
