Cat Sitters in Buffalo Grove, IL

Liz continues to be a favorite "go to" sitter for us. She is wonderful with our senior kitty, is in contact often and sends pictures, always leaves our home clean, and is very reliable and trustworthy. I will not hesitate to invite Liz back.

Emma was a perfect sitter! They kept me updated with pictures and I came home to a very clean apartment and most importantly a super happy pup! :) I definitely recommend Emma as a house sitter and hope to invite them to house sit for me again in the future.

Annie took care of our 12 year old chocolate lab for 6 weeks and exceeded our expectations!! She clearly cared about our dog, brushed him, gave him a bath, walked him, cleaned up dog poop in back yard/ during walks, gave him loving care/ company. I can’t say anything negative about Annie! It was our first experience with the Zeewoi and it all worked out great!!!!

It was so nice coming back to our apartment where our rabbits were clearly taken care of! My shy rabbit seemed very calm when we came back, which assured me they were happy with their care. She even went the extra step of a very tidy apartment, even though I assured her I would be able to do it for her. Thanks Priscila!

Luna here reporting that Amie was 5 star in every way! She even took me on a field trip walk to Pet Smart and bought some treats. (Gail never thought to do this!) Anyway, we would be delighted to have Amie come back for a visit when she is in Chicago or a sit!

It was a pleasure to meet Joy and have her take care my cat Vicky. She can come back whenever she can!

Jane and Luke were such great sitters! Communication was easy and clear, they were timely, and they just clearly love animals so much. Would have them back anytime.

Susan was great! Our kitties were very chill when we got home, thanks to her! Our eldest cat needs medication twice a day and we appreciate that she had no problem doing that. The house was very clean and our garden was thriving. It was obvious that Susan read through the he welcome guide, based upon her thoughtful follow up questions. She also left suggestions for things to do for future sitters. Would have her back in a heartbeat.

He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

I couldn't be happier with my experience of Greg as a Housesitter. He was exceptionally easy to communicate with from the start, which made the entire process stress-free. Every day, he dedicated extra time to play with my cats, ensuring each one received individual attention. It was clear that he genuinely cared for them, as they seemed happy and well-cared-for upon my return. Additionally, he maintained a very clean space and left my home in great condition. I highly recommend him for any pet-sitting needs; his commitment and care truly made a difference!
