Todd and April were fantastic petsitters! Kat, who can be a bit shy and skittish, immediately warmed up to them and was happily purring the day they arrived. I never worried about Kat the whole time I was away (although I did miss him a lot). I was gone almost a month and when I got back home, the house was immaculate and Kat was calm and happy. They were completely self-sufficient and even bought me new coffeemaker when mine stopped working, which totally blew me away. I let them use my car, which was returned clean and with a full tank of gas. I found Todd and April to be very thoughtful sitters and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I know it can be nerve-racking to leave a beloved pet - especially for weeks at a time - but these two should be at the top of your list. I would invite them back in a heartbeat!
If there were more than five stars, we would definitely give them to Lizzie! We had a wonderful time to meet her and get to know each of her pets and to enjoy the lovely home she has created. Lizzie went above and beyond by even going on a dog walk with us so that we would know the way to the dry river bed that the dogs love best. Fox, Cedar and Zoe wonderfully accepted us into their pack, Govi honored us with a cicada and even Pia warmed to us before our stay was over. It was a delight to care for this fur family!
Medus is the cutest, softest little prince of a cat you will ever meet! He enjoys telling you what he wants and it's your job to figure it out!! ;D He loved a morning and evening cuddle, playing with his toys, chatting about his day, and going on walks. He was such a fun cat to be with for a month and we really got to know and love his personality. Most cats we have been with have taken a bit of time to be comfortable with new people but Medus is the most extroverted, loving cat out there and will immediately make you feel welcome. It was so wonderful staying with him and the location is lovely with greenery all around but still close enough to walk to the free ferry that takes you straight to city center. Rachel was easy to communicate with and very responsive when we had to make a little visit to the vet. It was a pleasure doing this housesit and we definitely recommend to anyone who likes a cuddly cat.
