Bo is a gentle giant and a pleasure to hang out with. He was very respectful and sweet with my own dog, whom Sarah kindly welcomed into her home too! Taz was no trouble at all and only rarely popped out to say hello at feed times. Sarah’s home is a lovely modern, bright and airy space, conveniently located with some lovely river walks nearby. Thank you Sarah for the wonderful house sitting opportunity 🙏🏼
I stayed one week at Rachel's lovely apartment - it's well connected with transport to anywhere in the city, and Stella is a fluffy friendly cat - not a big fan of cuddles, but will follow you around and will always stay close to you 🐱
Courtney and Corbin have a really lovely home in a great neighborhood and are really welcoming people. And I fell in love with Kiwi. She is a sweetheart with a lot of quirks and she is definitely a bundle of energy but if you give her a lot of attention, you will bond for life. Walking her at Pacific Spirit Park became my favorite part of the day - it is a lovely off leash walk and Kiwi just loved prancing through the forest with a stick in her mouth. I will miss Kiwi so much - she does require a lot of attention but she imprinted on my heart for life. Thank you Courtney for trusting me with her.
Ben was absolutely incredible! He was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Toot took a little bit to warm but to us but he was such a cutie in the end. Carlos was very cute. I would definitely pet sit again!!
Anna’s home is an older property in Dalston with a few quirks, but still very cozy and surprisingly spacious! The area is full of parks, cafes and public transit, making it easy to get around Hackney or deeper into central London. Ronnie is a very well-behaved lad who knows many word commands. He can sometimes be a bit of a slow walker as he likes to stop and smell the roses, quite literally 😂 He is constantly sniffing and I liked to give him different assignments on things to smell. He is a very curious boy who is happiest at the park or with his tug toys, and definitely a snuggler after some days! He does well with other dogs his size (except some males) and is great with people, who adore him. He also travels well so you can take him with you on bus excursions. I did one very long day to Hyde Park and all around central London with him, he never got tired! Always ready to explore more. I would absolutely watch Ronnie here again!
Len and I really enjoyed sitting Rocky and Kona for you. The dogs were so well behaved and full of personality. We really enjoyed all the trails in the area which are dog friendly and the beautiful scenery. Your house is very organized and the book was extremely helpful to remind us of all the important details about feeding and putting out the trash. Thank you for sharing your home and Rocky and Kona with us. Len and I hope that we will meet again in the future with either a pet sit or a camping meet up.

I do not patron businesses who support fascism. I am leaving this review to let others know in case they also boycott businesses that support fascism.
Our dogs just experienced their second fun stay at Bones. The photos captured the joy our fur babies had this week running and frolicking. Bones is the best pet resort. The owners and staff are real dog lovers and care about the dogs they care for. They have always gone above and beyond! My dogs have always enjoyed vacationing in Bones with the freedom and playtime with other dogs. They come back tired but happy. I can relax and enjoy my trip knowing they are in safe and good hands!
BEST place ever. I am VERY picky about where my pup stays and Bones exceeded my expectations. My pup whined as we were pulling out of drive because he didn't want to leave!!!! NEVER done that. It is a drive for us but SO WORTH IT. TOTALLY know my boy is in great hands. Highly recommend.
The folks here are absolutely fantastic. Our Great Dane, Freya, hadn't been socialized much as we got her just before the pandemic. We brought her in for a day to get her acclimated before a vacation. They did a great job with her. We then left her there for 5 days with absolutely no issues. The dogs get to spend a lot of time outdoors playing in large yards. The owners were friendly, caring, and considerate. It was also an excellent value. I've had dogs for 40 years and this is the best place I've ever boarded one.
This is the BEST place to take your dogs while you're on vacation. The folks at Bones will treat your dog like it's one of their own and take exceptional care of it. Your dog will get "play time", and it doesn't cost extra!!!We don't trust any other facility, EVER !!!

I've been a groomer for almost 13 years. Ive seen my fair share of boarding facilities. This place takes the whole entire cake. Its is SO SO SO cute inside. They are unbelievably safe and secure. It's not overcrowded and I didn't see a single crate. The dogs are kept in private rooms, some may call it a suite. Highly recommend for your fur babies!
I have two rescue dogs and have been leery of boarding them. They are large and athletic and need a lot of exercise, and I hated the thought of leaving them in a standard kennel with runs. I avoided boarding them as long as I could, but eventually the time came, and I started doing endless research on the best place to leave them. A co-worker mentioned using Bones in the past, and told me how great they were. And she was right! It is a kennel like no other--more like a dog B&B. The dogs have little rooms instead of runs, and can have their own beds and toys. They can have their normal food (prepped in a kitchen area), and best of all, they have LOTS of outdoor playtime. My two dogs came back to me tired and happy. When we picked them up, one of them ran to the play yard instead of the car! He thought it was time to go play again. It's a bit of a drive in the country for me, but definitely worth it for peace of mind! The owners know and obviously love dogs. The yards are very secure with high fences and every detail has been thought out. Recommend highly!
My family has been taking our four dogs to Bones kennel for years. Johnny and Sandy are wonderful people who take care of our pets as if they were their own. My dogs are like my children and this is the only place I will leave them when I am out of town. Johnny also takes wonderful photographs and posts them to facebook so you can check up on your pets. It is great to be able to leave my dogs here and not worry about how they are doing. If you are looking for a reputable kennel you have found it.
