We have nothing but positive feedback from our experience with Chris, Alannah and of course Shadow. Chris and Alannah are both extremely kind people who made us feel right at home in their home. They were easy to communicate with and gave us a complete run down on how everything worked prior to leaving so we knew what to expect during our stay. The place had everything and more we needed to feel comfortable. Colwood is a lovely area with unlimited trails and water access. We had a fantastic time exploring the areas, taking Shadow on lots of adventures. Shadow was a great companion for us. We had alot of fun getting to know his goofy and loving personality over the 10 days we were there. He did require alot of attention being a young pup of 10 months, but we were more then happy to play with him and help burn off some of his energy. He'd be happy as ever, chasing sticks and running in any water we'd be around. He's also a cuddly guy once he's tuckered out at night time and really he just wants to be close to you. We'd love to spend time again with Shadow and his family if the stars align.
Tracey and Will were wonderful pet sitting hosts. They created an extensive guidebook for us and gave us a basket of snacks and goodies as a welcome gift. Their dog Dougie is the perfect dog. In fact, my husband says they could clone him and make millions. He is so good natured and cuddly. Friendly with all other dogs and people on walks. He rarely if ever barks. He is the most super cuddly dog ever. He's playful and curious and frankly I think we fell in love with him. Tracey and Will have a beautiful home with a cozy covered patio and a pool in the backyard. We enjoyed swims and one night had a campfire. It was like being in a mini resort inside the city. This couple loves to travel and have many interesting treasures from their travels. They even brought us back a souvenir. We can't recommend them enough and would gladly sit for them again. We miss Dougie. A lot!
Prior to the housesit we met Nic & Grahame via video chat, they were kind enough to invite us to come to stay the night before their departure which afforded us the opportunity to meet Sally, run through her care and be shown around their home and garden. They were so welcoming and had lots of information on local attractions and walks, and a comprehensive list of emergency contacts, we spent a lovely evening chatting with them. Both their house (which was immaculate), and their pretty as a picture garden are an oasis of calm, alive with birdsong with fantastic views of the sea and mountains. Their home is a beautiful octagonal house bursting with character, all modern conveniences and very comfortable. We stayed in a really lovely guest bedroom with a fabulous shower room next to it. The Wifi was reliable and allowed us both to work. We were lucky enough to try some of their delicious strawberries homegrown in the polytunnel. Coincidentally while we were there the West Waterford Food Festival was on and we enjoyed a couple of trips into the food markets to try out some local produce. Sally was just the best company - well mannered, rarely barked, was excellent off lead and calm when she encountered other dogs and people. Sally was reluctant to get in the car the first time but conceded thereafter and we enjoyed some fantastic walks on the beach and in the forest which were just a short drive away. Communication with Nic & Grahame was easy. We would have no hesitation in recommending this housesit to others, and would love the opportunity to return some day. Thanks Nic and Grahame for the warm welcome and for sharing your home and lovely Sally!
We have spent a few beautiful days taking care of Dorie, she is a very independent kitten and will let you know when she wants to receive love, and it is also very easy to give her insulin. Jess and Dan are truly wonderful, and have been very generous and kind to us. They picked us up at the station and waited with a delicious dinner and they speak Spanish very well, it was very easy to communicate with them, the neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. We highly recommend this sitting
Sit Duration: 1st April to 6th May 2024 (35 days) Mieke and Francois were such lovely kind people who have built a beautiful and artistic home and property. A very calming and peaceful spot. They set us up with plenty of locations to eat and visit and plenty of places to find the supplies we needed. The 3 dogs were such loveable characters and we would often spend the afternoons in the tropical garden with them feeding the 2 large turtles. All 3 dogs love hugs. They also have an aviary with the most amazing and humerous birds . We spent about 5 weeks here on this sit and it was long enough to really get to know all the animals and their gorgeous personalities. Meike and Francois had everything set up to make it easy to take care of the property and pets. The change of pace from city living was just what we needed and it made us feel like tourists again. Thank you Meike and Francois for you help and kindness and having us in your home. xxx
I highly recommend this sit. You will fall in love with Tucker and Max immediately. They are so loving and sweet. I enjoyed walking them and playing with them. Caroline is a wonderful host. She’s very thoughtful and will take care of you.

A dog walker you can trust! Jenna is kind and very easy to communicate with. She takes my strong 80lb pitty twice a week for 30 minute walks. I absolutely trust my dog is safe with Jenna. Not only is my dog tuckered out after each walk but she VERY happy. The minute Jenna pulls up my dog gets crazy excited! I have two chorkies that love to see Jenna too. All three bonded with her right away. I am so grateful we found Jenna!
Jenna is amazing! My dogs love her. She is very reliable and reasonable. She will take good care of your fur babies.
We are delighted to have found Jenna of Woof Professional Dog Walkers to board our dogs while on vacation. Donner and Shasta received daily walks, lots of attention, and apparently special treats since they weren’t very interested in the regular ones we provide once they got home. Jenna’s daily reports plus photos offered us immense relief in knowing our pets were in comfortable home-style surroundings and very caring hands.
I feel so comfortable knowing that my pets are in safe, capable and caring hands with WOOF! I’ve known Jenna over 15 years and she is absolutely trustworthy and amazing with our fur babies.
I highly recommend WOOF!
Thank you!
