Communication with Martha and Micheal was super-easy from the onset of our application right through to the end of our sit.

They are a very generous and warm couple who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Their renovated farmhouse is modern, spotless and impeccably decorated and designed. It was a joy to live there but our two weeks went by much too quickly.

The cats are adorable!
Scamp was fast to make friends while Umby took a while to show his warmth and funny side. But once he became our pal, he was the most loveable cat you could hope for.

We will definitely miss our four new friends and we really hope this is not goodbye but till we meet again.

Thank you Martha and Michael!

My daughter and I stayed in Elaine and Mike’s home for 5 nights in July 2024. This is my first negative review and saddens me to post it.

First, the positives:
The home is in a beautiful location with unobstructed views of the mountains from the deck.
The guest rooms where my daughter and I slept were clean and comfortable.
Jenna is a sweet dog who we quickly became attached to. She followed us around, slept in our room, and enjoyed walks several times each day to the lake down the street.
The dogs are food motivated and reminded us of their expectations.
Now, the negatives:
The dogs poop and pee on the deck, nowhere else, although Jenna occasionally had a short pee on walks. The listing did not include in “Responsibilities” the need and expectation for picking up the poop and hosing off the deck, something we did multiple times each day, as without, the deck smells.
Ms. Daisy is crated at night. She barks on and off throughout the night, stopping when she is let out, which my daughter and I did between 4-5 a.m.
The home needs a deep clean, especially the kitchen. Lower cabinets had dirt and crumbs and what looked like mouse droppings in them. Pans and other kitchen items were dirty, needing to be cleaned before use. TV room chairs had popcorn and other debris in the crevices; we did not watch tv. The homeowners should consider emptying the refrigerator of leftovers so the sitters have room for their food.

We had a lovely time at this sit in Kanab. The cats are so sweet and cuddly and the home is beautiful. Everything was cleaned before we got there and the home was well stocked. Would sit again!

We are grateful for meeting Aleks & Allan, who are a very nice and welcoming couple. The communication with them went smoothly, and they kindly and clearly explained all the details we needed to know.

We really appreciated taking care of the 3 fluffy pets. All of them are very well behaved. The cats are lovely - they don't scratch, they don't bite, they only give cuddles :) Kobe is a very loving dog, a wonderful friend to have around, either for fetch games, or just for relaxing on the couch and watching TV. He always gets cuddles from everyone when out on the streets :)

The apartment is perfect, situated in the heart of Valencia and everything you need is at a walking distance.

We recommend this sit to everyone who wants the same amazing experience!

We felt very welcomed the moment we stepped foot in the door. Deb and her husband took the time to get to know us and show us around before they set off. Gypsy, Moonie and Max were great company and we're very entertaining in the best of ways. Routines were clear and easy to follow, plus gypsy will let you know when its time for food incase the clock escapes you. Perfect location to relax pool side or explore the local towns. We would happily sit again!

We had a fantastic time looking after Jess Meg and Roscoe and the chickens. All the dogs are well behaved and eager to please, we took them anywhere and everywhere, they are good both on and off the lead. Absolute characters, all of them we still miss them. Lots of lovely walks in the vicinity, you can find gently rolling hills, lakes, mountains and miles of sandy beaches within easy travelling distance. We had the opportunity to go a Highland Games in Glamis Castle, which was a real treat. Nice walks from the house around the farmland, where we took all three dogs, we only took the two younger dogs out in the car farther afield. Meg was happy with a couple of walks in the locality a day but she was very fit for her age. It was an area we had never been to before but it won’t be our last visit to Angus, we enjoyed it immensely. It was so nice to have dogs with us to enjoy our adventures.
