Dixie looked after our home and fur family over four days while we went tramping. She visited prior to the sit and familiarised herself with our pets’ requirements and their daily routines, which was much appreciated. We returned to a clean, tidy home and happy pets. We could see Dixie had taken great care of all. She even did the vacuuming and a bit of weeding, which was above and beyond what we expected. It was also great to see some photos of our dogs and Dixie having fun on their walks. We couldn’t have asked for more. Dixie is an absolute gem!
We cannot recommend Angela and Paul enough. They are simply amazing sitters. They have looked after our house and our beloved dog Lilly with great care and attention on a number of occasions. This sit was more complicated for them as we had to alter the dates before we set off on holiday and they were more than happy to accommodate this. On top of this, our return flight was delayed a day and Paul and Angela were able to accommodate this as well - just brilliant. We cannot stress how much it meant to us to have such thoughtful, considerate and flexible people looking after our property and pet. Whilst we were away, 3 storms hit the UK but knowing that Paul and Angela were looking after the property meant that we could continue the holiday with confidence. Also, as the 3 storms brought lots of cold wet weather, Paul and Angela needed more logs for the wood burner. They ordered them, took care of the delivery AND put the ton bag of logs in the log store - so kind and thoughtful. Our return taxi home was unavailable and Paul drove to the station to pick us up - again this was so kind and helpful. As in previous sits, the house was immaculately clean and tidy and they were even thoughtful enough to prepare a lovely chilli con carne for our return. You could not wish for a better couple to house and pet sit as their skills and kindness are extraordinary. Thanks you Angela and Paul.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
