I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 weeks I spent with Leo, he is adorable and excellent company. It was hard (sad) saying goodbye to him.
I also truly appreciate the preparation his owners made. His food was prepared for the entire time, their instructions were clear and easy to follow.

They were also very generous in providing quite a few 'days off' in which Leo went to a dog-minder so I could explore or go shopping for essentials.

Their home is very comfortable and located next to a beautiful walkway that winds its way through the area. There were koala and loads of bird life in the area.

The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac wirh friendly helpful neighbours.

I highly recommend this house sit, the dog Leo and the owners.
Thank you very much to them for the opportunity.

Sally
Lovely stone cottage with amazing views in picturesque village of Keld. Sage, Frankie and Ronny loved their walks(and their food!). Such characters, who loved to snuggle up on the sofa in the evenings. Beautiful walks and waterfalls from the cottage. Sally left us wonderful Farmhouse Brack cake and chocolates. Great communication with Sally prior to our stay in Keld, and during our time there.

What an amazing sit! Kevin and Sue are wonderfully kind people whose animals match their energy. Henry and Kato are the sweetest pups. As you spend more time with them, their personalities really come out. Kato is a forever pup and will stick by your side once he’s comfortable. Henry is a man of his own and wants to be apart of all fun activities, but at his own distance. All 3 kitties were so kind and cuddly.

Their home is beautiful, with all the comforts to feel right at home. The backyard is definitely the place to be and if it’s not too cold, truly everyone is out there, pups and kitties included! :)

Their communication was spot on and their generosity was a gift. We can’t wait to be back :)

It was my great pleasure to sit for Naomi in her beautiful Santa Fe home and take care of her sweetheart of a dog, Dixon. Naomi made sure I was comfortable with her home and with Dixon, and she was clear about her expectations. I really appreciated the detail she provided both in her Welcome Guide and in person. She prepared excellent instructions on the care and feeding of Dixon, on watering the various plants around the yard and in the home, and on home maintenance. Her home is well appointed, comfortable, and calm, and Dixon was an excellent companion, immediately accepting of his temporary caregiver, trusting and affectionate. He liked taking long walks, usually through Santa Fe’s Railyard—greeting everyone along the way—and at night he loved to cuddle on the couch. Routine is important for a pet, and Naomi made sure I understood what that meant for Dixon. While Naomi was away from home, she was a responsive, effective communicator, always available to answer any questions.

Watching Dixon’s daily antics, and receiving his unconditional love, in the special ways a dog expresses it, made it difficult to part ways. If Naomi chooses you for a sit, you will thoroughly enjoy Dixon; plus, you'll be in one of the U.S.’s most beautiful, interesting cities!

What a heart-warming sit this was! How do I even find the right words?

It was an utter delight to meet Rebecca and chat over dinner together, before and after her travel. It felt so quickly like I made a new friend. The food Gary had cooked for us was delicious. The house is so beautiful, spacious, tidy and peaceful, with a lovely garden and so many beautiful walks in nature around the area which Rebecca showed me the evening I arrived.

And then the most important part: Darcy and Elvis, oh my heart! Elvis is a very sweet little old boy who loved staying close and walking around the house with me and cuddling next to me on the sofa. And what an excellent time-keeper who gave me a heads up a few minutes before any important moment of the day: meals, walks, garden time, medication. He is very gentle, and while he feels more introverted compared to Darcy, I loved showering him too with kisses every now and then, and his wiggly tail said he really loved that too.

Darcy is younger and more energetic. She immediately welcomed me in the house and cuddled up on my lap as I sat on the floor with my cup of tea. She then showed me her toys and made sure we had lots of fun playing every day in between their walks and nap time. She is very playful, funny and also attentive and caring, and her eyes are so expressive, you just can’t resist her charm.

Elvis and Darcy are very different and really complement each other, both so lovable and easy to look after. The words really are not enough. Thank you, Rebecca and Gary, feeling so grateful and looking forward to being back.

Rocky and Gizmo are such balls of love! I was constantly mauled by love with kisses and hugs and requests to play. I fell in love with the doggos and was so sad to leave. I was so sad to leave, I accidently left my wallet behind (which was a minor nightmare when I went to pay for a coffee at the train station!). Ashlee was great, finding me wallet and sending it off to me. They were gracious hosts and a great place to house sit!
