Dog Sitters in Bunker Hill, CA

Veronica and Adam exceeded our already high expectations, they are extremely reliable and trustworthy housesitters. We had them referred to us by a neighbor who knew of their outstanding reputation here in Cape Town. Since we found them through referral and weren’t yet zeewoi members, so we asked for references from them and called a handful of people they had sat for in the past. Every single person we spoke to had nothing but glowing things to say about their experience. We were sold. Veronica and Adam looked after our two German Shorthair Pointers, our cat, and our property for three months. They exceeded our high expectations in every way. Here are a few examples. Our younger dog Dakota suffered from a seizure shortly before we left. We asked them to monitor him and he had another seizure shortly after we left on our travels. Adam and Veronica followed our instructions of administering emergency medication during his seizure, and then rearranged their work day to rush him to the vet. They worked with our local vet to have tests and bloodwork done and he’s now on maintenance medication and has been seizure free. Our cat slash was in a cat fight during their stay and came home with a wound. They took him to the vet, gave him his daily antibiotics, isolated him inside and treated his wound until it healed. They also found a tick on our other dog Kaila a couple of days after a long hike. They knew how to remove and treat it, and then after speaking with us, got all our pets up to date with their flea and tick medication. A number of maintenance issues came up with our home that needed repair including our doors, pool, and water heating systems. They were proactive and contacted the appropriate people and sorted out all of these issues. Through all of this they were excellent communicators and kept us in the loop and asked us the right questions. They made our home and pets their #1 priority and completely earned our trust. Aside from that, they were generous with their purchasing of treats, toys, and general household items. You won’t find better, more capable and thoughtful sitters. We trust Veronica and Adam completely and want them to come back and sit for us again.

Jessie was a fantastic cat sitter for our two girls while we were away. When we returned home, our cats were happy and content, and our house was just as we left it! Jessie's care and attention made all the difference. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving cat sitter. Hannah was wonderful. My cats were completely normal when I got home. This may sound strange but they do not do well when they are left alone for long periods. She communicated well we me and I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care.

Alex was very self-sufficient and reliably communicative as a sitter, sending me a photo every day. It gave me peace of mind to know that Mandy was in safe hands while I was out of cell service for several days! Alex gave Mandy her monthly Revolution plus medication on schedule, which I appreciated. She left my apartment generally tidy and even left some cookies, which was very sweet.

Brooke took great care of my dog, Maple. Unfortunately Maple had been having a bad reaction to antibiotics that caused vomiting for several days. I felt bad making a sitter care for a sick dog, but Brooke totally understood, took great care of Maple, and gave me several updates along the way that really helped. It was a difficult situation and Brooke dealt with it better than I could have hoped for.

Oh my goodness, these two are so capable, so reliable, so compassionate! They took excellent excellent care of our pups, even when little Bo was being a sad boi. They gave him the extra love and attention he needed. On top of that, they left us flowers and a super clean house when we got back. And when our plans changed last minute, they were so understanding and accommodating. Truly top-notch care, excellent communication, and not all daunted by realities of living in a hilly/natural area, like ants. Honestly, I can’t say enough wonderful things! 

Tracy and Halden were great sitters! We were very lucky to find them for a last minute getaway. They left us a spotless house, and a happy cat. I'd love to have them back!

William and Holly did a great job sitting for my 2 elderly cats, one who had just been diagnosed with cancer and the other with severe arthritis. They both took the time to reassure me before I left that they would be able to handle all the necessary medications. They did an excellent job of communicating daily with updates and pictures which were most appreciated. I would highly recommend them to take care of your fur babies, and know that they can handle difficult aging fur babies.

Helen was a wonderful sitter for my 2 dogs and 3 cats during my 9 day trip. We were able to meet beforehand so I could introduce her to everyone and go over their routines with her. My little dog Brody had just strained his neck a few days earlier so I was nervous about leaving him, but Helen made sure he took it easy and gave him his meds. I really appreciated her updates and photos of my furry family! It rained (not in the 10 day forecast!) and Helen brought in my patio cushions, which I greatly appreciated. Everything was in good order and clean when I returned. I would absolutely ask her to sit again!

If there was a way to give Billy 10 stars we would. He was incredibly reliable and communicative and sent updates regularly about our girls. They were so happy in his care and it was obvious upon our return. Billy also took good care of our apartment and mail/packages. All around a great experience and will look to have Billy back on our next trip.

Karen took excellent care of Zorro...He could not be happier! Since it was a long term sit and since it was during the summer, Zorro had a bad case of the fleas. His flea collar and frontline treatment was not working. After communicating with us, Karen took the initiative to take Zorro to the vet for treatment. When we got home Zorro was happy and flea free.

Erin was amazing! We had the chance to meet early on and walk the dogs together and really talk about what could go wrong - this was our third time using the website so we were able to talk through anything that happened in the first two sittings- Erin was great --texts and pics everyday - I can tell she was a caring fun house sitter and the house is super clean and tidy upon returning.
