We only have great things to say about Diane. She was easy to work with and very loving with our kitty, giving her plenty of attention. She is a great communicator and sent many updates complete with pictures and videos. We also came back to a clean and spotless apartment. We would LOVE to have her come back to sit anytime!
Diana and Charles couldn’t have been more thoughtful hosts despite having to change their plans due to a bereavement. I had a wonderful time in their beautiful home keeping the gorgeous Billie company and exploring the area with her. Billie is a beautiful and affectionate girl with a relaxed and loving personality. She knows her local routes and is also happy to gently remind you when it’s time to eat. She’s very calm and chilled out and has so many adorable quirks, “tunnelling” under your legs as you’re putting on your shoes, for example. It’s impossible not to fall in love with her. I hope to see her again and to spend more time with Myrtle and Jim who are equally gorgeous. Diana and Charles have a stunning and very comfortable home with wonderful pets to care for. I’d highly recommend this sit.
Janine & John were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived a day early to meet and they made us a lovely dinner :) The cats are absolute sweethearts - we loved the cuddles! A bus direct to Oxford was great and plenty of National Trust Properties around to keep us busy :) We highly recommend housesitting this lovely family if you get the chance :)
Tony and Katie have the most beautiful home right in the heart of South Dublin City. We were looking after their cat, Sugar, who is 19 years old and full of life! Sugar is by far the sweetest cat we have ever met! She sleeps all day long in her little igloo on the terrace, then loves to hang out and cuddle in the evenings. She grew to be super affectionate with us, snuggling beside us all evening and night in the living room. She is so affectionate, so sweet, and will also let you know when it’s her dinner time! She doesn’t mind being on her own for a couple of hours if you are exploring the city or going for dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better cat and we were super sad to leave her! Tony and Katie’s home is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds us of a really cool 70s American home. It is cosy, comfortable, bright, warm and so homely. The terrace is lovely to sit in when it’s sunny, and the living room is so cosy in the evening with a big TV for watching films! The kitchen is great to cook in and the bedroom is really nice to sleep in. Tony and Katie are super chilled and they left a fantastic guide to the house which was very helpful. They are really friendly and warm and great to communicate with. As I’m sure you can tell at this point, we had a really beautiful time staying in this home with Sugar and we will be jumping at the opportunity to stay here again! We spent total of 23 days divided into two sits with lovely Pippin. He is a cute companion who enjoys his walks, sniffing around in the forest nearby, chilling in the sun in the garden and playing with his toy monkey. The house is located in very peaceful part of Colares, perfect for working online in the garden, walks, hikes or trips to the nearby beach. We had lovely time working online with Pippin keeping us company and lying next to us for some additional cuddles <3 Louise was a pleasant host who was always available when we had some questions or were unsure about something.
Hunter, an extra-large lap dog with a love for cuddling and play, was my delightful companion during a two-week sit at John's home. I greatly appreciated John's thorough instructions and neighbourhood walk recommendations. During my time there, Hunter and I formed a fantastic bond, and he always made sure to nudge me when it was time for our mid-day walk if I happened to be working too long. Hunter is a bed-sleeper so If the idea of having a sleeping companion doesn't bother you, then you're in for a wonderful house sit.
I had the most wonderful time! Gizmo is the funniest and cutest little guy I've ever met. We had a blast together, especially in the mornings when he just wanted to cuddle and play, what he always likes to do. Everywhere we went, he was eager to explore the big world. Jessica was amazing—sweet and excellent with communication. I was truly sad to leave… I'd definitely return and highly recommend this sit! ❤️
