Very enjoyable Labor Day weekend at Cindy, Oliver, and PTree's home. PTree is a star with a sweet purrsonality and beautiful silky fur. I miss her already. Cindy and Oliver were great hosts and provided clear and detailed instructions and information - they made it easy for me! I hope to be able to sit for them again.
Really enjoyed my time with Muji and Sushi, two lovely cats. Izzy and Ivan met with me before they left and it was good to have the walk through. The area was close to Mowbray park, museum, and shopping. The house and garden was lovely. Would sit again if ever things worked out. Thank you.☺️
Blue and the cats were so loving!! I have never met a dog who loved cuddles as much as Blue. We snuggled all night. He was great to go on long walks by the beach and overall such a sweetheart. The cats were also so fun and loved to play. Jada was very communicative and made me feel at home. The location of the house is STUNNING. A quick walk to the beach and you may never want to leave. If you get a chance to sit for them, consider yourself lucky.
If you love sloppy kisses and wrestling matches between two pooches early morning on your bed, then this sit is for you. Sofey and Zoe are so fun, obedient and easy to care for. They ask for nothing…well maybe Sofey will give the “wish list” look if you are eating. Daily walks are in a lovely neighbourhood. Lots of sniff time required. If you like TV..(there are many in this home), the girls will love you. They are snugglers. . Their humans welcomed me with a lovely meal the eve before their early morning departure, and thoughtfully left fresh fruit and other food options for the week. Great dogs, great humans, great sit.
Looking after dear Dasher in Jen & Nick’s beautiful home was a real New Year treat! The communication leading up to the sit very informative and when I arrived, Jen and Nick took time to explain all I needed to know to look after Dasher and enjoy the house - everything was very straight forward. Jen and Nick had kindly considered my comfort and needs and provided a welcome hamper as well as fresh provisions to help me settle in. Dasher’s comfort and well-being was my top priority and after a tentative start, we soon bonded and enjoyed evenings together as he loved being stroked and brushed in front of the log fire – very cosy! The house is remote and quiet, surrounded by fields but just a few minutes’ drive from Wrexham town and local supermarkets. It was a delight to feed the wild birds every day and watch pheasants, jays, tits, a robin and a woodpecker visit for a feast, not to mention numerous squirrels. I didn’t see the badgers, but they ate all the food I left out every night for them! I would honoured and delighted to be asked again to sit for Jen and Nick and look after Dasher (and the wildlife!)
We very much enjoyed this sit. Blu and Magi were easy going and although Blu took a little time to get comfortable with us they were both affectionate. Kelsey was very prepared and gave us everything we needed with good written information to refer back to. The house was comfortable and we loved the neighborhood-dining and parks within easy walking distance and so close to everything. Next time we’re in St. Louis, we’ll be sure to check with them to see if they need time to get away 😏.
