Renskie is a lovely South African Lady who house sitted for 10 days in August 2024. We had lots of communication before and she was happy to add Chickens to the list of animals to look after when we got 3 after she'd agreed to sit for us. Rene was very capable, she kept in touch, house was spotless on our return and happy animals. She was resourceful when faced with a storm and keeping chickens dry. I would highly recommend her for any sit as being 100% reliable and would happily have her return at any point. Thank you René

Some people give you immediate confidence that they will be great for your pets and for you. Alexander and Christina did. And that immediate feeling wasn't wrong. We came back to very happy, relaxed, and amazingly clean dogs. And, cats, well what can you say? Despite some unexpected events in the neighbourhood, Alexander and Christina took care of everything calmly and smoothly. Can and do recommend.

Alicia and Brett are a wonderful couple, who are kind, caring and friendly! They did a fantastic job of looking after both the house and Milo! Their communication, both before and during the sit, was excellent. They kept the house clean and tidy. We would welcome them back with open arms!

Kelly and Sean were absolutely fantastic. They are such a warm, relaxed couple and took amazing care of Honey and Maggie. We had absolutely peace of mind that the girls were being well looked after. It was lovely to hear how both Kelly and Sean had fallen in love with the dogs, and really got to know their personalities, clearly dog lovers. We had some lovely messages too, which was great to hear dogs were happy and that Kelly & Sean were enjoying their time.The house was left immaculate which was the icing on the cake

Anusha and James were the most perfect Housesitters. Initial contact was easy and efficient, their questions showed how thoughtful and understanding they were about the needs of our two Labradors. Sheba and Lucy obviously loved being looked after by Anusha and James as they were so happy and relaxed when we got home, which incidentally, was to a house that was clean, tidy and perfect! They even left some flowers, essential groceries and a lovely note for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to sit again and hope they will be able to next time we need sitters. Could not have been better! Dan and Tegan were courteous, caring and organised. The dogs were well cared for and appreciated the attention they received. The house was left wonderfully tidy. Would happily have them stay again.

Andrea and Mike were very accommodating and even extended the agreed stay to allow us to make flights work for us. Andrea and Mike brought their dog Tobie with them and it was great to see that Tobie and Frank hit it off straight away and from the regular updates and pictures that we were sent it certainly looked like both dogs had a fantastic time out on walks and trips to the local brewery. Hope

Hope was amazing at communicating and she gave me a detailed account of taking care of Z and the house.  Although she was traveling, she made texting me a priority.  I also had her friend's number and her son if I couldn't get a hold of her.  Z is the sweetest dog, very attached to humans!  She would literally jump up in the air when she saw me.  Very affectionate and chill dog.  Low maintenance as well, feed once a day!  She just wants to be with you!  There was a little delay of starting the visit because her son wanted to stay at the house for a little bit longer, but I was OK with that.  The house is wonderful with a large back yard.  There are a lot of plants, and trees outside.  Beautiful home and neighborhood!  I highly recommend this host, home and pet.  You will have an amazing time!

Beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location and Pepper was the icing on the cake!!  She was absolutely adorable, very well trained and loved as much fuss as we could give her.  We enjoyed daily walks in the adjoining gardens and field – or rather observed Pepper’s amazing energy and agility – and the 25 min walk to the nearby Blackpool Sands blue flag beach was really special. Suzie was easy, relaxed and prompt to communicate from our first exchange of messages.  She and Jonathon welcomed us on arrival and were keen to ensure that we were comfortable and happy in their beautiful home for the duration of our sit. Dartmouth and the East Hams area have so many attractions if you love history, walking and the sea and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!!
