Stacey
What an amazing experience it was to sit for Boo and Bags in Stacey and Brian's beautiful home. We had an extra day between our last house sit in France and our scheduled sit in Fiaugères. However, Stacey and Brian graciously welcomed us earlier than planned, sparing us the need to check into a hotel. Stacey and Brian are very easy to communicate with, offering us recommendations even before our arrival. On our first night, we had the pleasure of indulging in a traditional Swiss raclette dinner. They are both funny, intelligent professionals, and passionate athletes. Stacey even taught us how to make homemade pizza and Brian taught us how to make homemade bread. We had our own Nespresso machine in our room, but we didn't use it at all as we found it more enjoyable to prepare coffee in the kitchen, engaging in delightful conversations with our hosts while taking in the breathtaking view, including Mont Blanc on clear days, from the garden. We couldn't have asked for better hosts, and we look forward to bragging to our friends that we had the privilege of staying with a world-record-holding athlete. Moreover, the house was comfortable and warm, which was especially advantageous as the cold weather had already set in. And did we mention the breathtaking views of the area?!!

Caring for the cats, Boo and Bags, was an absolute delight. Boo quickly warmed up to us, while Bags initially appeared aloof. However, winning her affection proved to be a gratifying experience. Her demands for brushing and cuddling were quite endearing. Once they decided they liked us, they became super sweet and even paid us visits in our bed, which was heartwarming. Boo's remarkably expressive face, sometimes almost human-like, made conversing with him truly enjoyable.

We loved exploring the area, from hiking to museums, to sight-seeing. However, there are still countless sights to explore, and if the opportunity arises, we would love to return in the future to reunite with Stacey, Brian, Boo, and Bags.

Routines were established for all and explicit instructions made this sit an absolute delight. Bright, entertaining dog who loves to walk and socialize and his commands were invaluable. He was a snuggle bug & my best bud. Cats were super easy, warmed up to me and were then themselves. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, the hosts generous and The Grove is the perfect location. Definitely a return on the cards.

Olande
Olande made us feel most heartily welcomed in her gorgeus home. She had prepared a very nice table full of food presents and other goodies for us. In addition she had stocked up plenty of groceries for our personal use.

Her two sweet little ladies, Missy and Molly, were love at first sight. To look after them was a real pleasure and honour for us. Although they are mother and daughter, they were really two very different characters. Molly was easy going and she loved to cuddle from the start. Missy was a feisty lady and she wanted to show us, who the boss in the house really was. Whereas Molly was so easy going and liked to sleep as much as she could. After making strange with us, both for the first day or two, they then enjoyed stitting on our laps and being cuddled as often as possible and so did we.

We would more than gladly sit for them again and again!

Last but not least, Olande's Welcome Guide was one of the most thorough, detailed reference archive and it proved very helpfull for us.

Two satisfied and happy sitters

Miriam
My month-long sit with Miso, Boots, and Zuki was very relaxing and time flew by with ease. Miriam and Charles welcomed me to their home and explained everything thoroughly. I felt comfortable and appreciated. Boots and Miso were sweet, snuggly, and curious.

Zuki had the particularities of most reptiles and required a routine to maintain his hydration balance. He is a picky eater, which does require a special touch. Otherwise he's a calm, unique companion who will sit on your shoulder and give you consistent side-eye. I would definitely recommend this sit for anyone interested.

Maja
Maja and Susan are very easy to communicate and work with. They have a gorgeous, comfy home with fantastic views across the bay, which is effortless to look after. You are provided with clear, concise instruction on caring for both home and their crazy cats.

Foxen and Lumi provide hours of entertainment watching their antics, and chasing their toys. They are both cute and affectionate when they accept you and will follow you everywhere in the home.

I loved the stay and the fact that there are 2 hiking trails that practically start at the front door was a real bonus!

A pleasure to care for!
