Cat Sitters in Burleigh Waters

At our first meeting with Belen and Miguel we knew that they were not only a lovely couple but that they absolutely loved dogs. Before they even entered our home they were chatting with one of our neighbours and patting their dog and giving it cuddles. Belen and Miguel are the most positive and amazing couple. We had them stay for dinner the night before we left, and we built up an instant bond while we listened to them talking about their adventures travelling Australia. The immediate rapport they had with our dogs, Lola and Reggie was beautiful to observe. Miguel was taken with Lola as was she with him. In the lead up to the house sitting Belen and Miguel kept in touch and were very easy to communicate with. Throughout their stay they sent us lovely photos and videos of themselves with our two fur babies and it was evident the strong bond they had made. As they both work from home, they spent considerable time with Lola and Reggie which the dogs would have loved. Our return was very late in the evening just before midnight and usually our arrival is one of calamity as the dogs run amok after us being away. On this occasion, Reggie came and met us and there was no sign of Lola as she was asleep with Belen and Miguel on their bed. She eventually came down to us about 45 minutes later when she finally realised, we were home. Belen and Miguel took fantastic care of our home and washed all bedding and cleaned the house thoroughly before our return. Miguel even did some small home maintenance on a screen that hides our garbage bins which was amazing and really appreciated as I had been meaning to do it for some time. We have no hesitation in recommending Belen and Miguel as the most trusted of house-sitters and especially as excellent carers of our beloved dogs, Lola and Reggie.

Jaclyn and Cesar looked after my 10 year old dogs and my house for two weeks. My dogs are Cattle Dogs x Kelpies and still very active, Jaclyn and Cesar cared for them magnificently, walked them 1-2 times daily and they were content when I returned from my holiday. The house was tidy and I highly recommend Jaclyn and Cesar to look after your pets and house.

Gabriella was amazing with all my pets. We have 6 dogs and 3 cats. As soon as she arrived I was put at ease, we have a cat flap and the dogs like to poke their heads out one at a time to see who's there, Ellie was making a fuss of them before I got to the door ! The dogs all gave Ellie a huge welcome and she wasn't fazed at all. I felt so happy knowing I was going away, leaving them all with someone who was going to give them lots of attention. I had told Ellie that one of the cats was really nervous and that not to worry about her, she'd come in at night, I came home to find out that they'd become friends. We came home to a nice warm, clean house, Ellie had lit a fire, and had waited up for us, even though we did not arrive home until late in the evening. I'd highly recommend Ellie for a sit, don't let her age put you off, she is very mature and well travelled. I'd love Ellie to sit for us again in the future, or visit if she is in the area.

Shem was the first pet sitter using the Zeewoi site and I felt very relaxed and at ease as soon as Shem and I connected. We both felt it was the perfect match for what we both needed during my week away. I would highly recommend Shem for your house sit; she is extremely respectful of other’s space and truly cares about pets! My cat seemed perfectly at ease and content when I returned and the house was clean and tidy. Thank you so much Shem!

Rain came to meet my pups a couple of weeks prior to her stay. This made me feel comfortable that they were in good care. She sent through regular updates and photos. I will definitely ask Rain to stay again.

Haleigh was a great companion for Lucy! Was tidy and kept a immediate timely response with communication throughout her sit. Lucy was happy and healthy when we arrived home

Greg & Virginia were the perfect sitters. The house was spotless on return (even better than when we left!) and animals were all happy and well looked after. They asked all the right questions at the beginning of the stay which meant everything went to plan. Thank you so much!

Annalisa and Arnau were great sitters for our house and our pup Iggy. He had a great time with them and they kept us updated throughout their stay with photos and messages. They kept our house very clean and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a sitter.

Carlos and Paula looked after our cat Penny for three weeks. They came to see the house before we left to meet Penny, which was nice. They sent us pictures of Penny and videos and reported on her wellbeing. When we came home, Paula had baked us a cake to welcome us. They were very self sufficient and looked after the house well.

Em and Harry are were a wonderful choice to look after our animals and our home while we were away. We were kept up to date, and on our return we were so happy to find everything perfect in the house and with the animals. The house was spotless, and the animals, particularly our dog was very happy. We had a lovely night with them before we left, and hope to keep in touch - we would definitely recommend and would have them back in heart beat.

Olivia and Isaac were keen to meet with us prior to the house sit and we welcomed them with a meal before a tour of the house and garden and a discussion of the various household and outdoor tasks for which they would be responsible. These included our cat Poco’s dietary and care requirements, and information about the local area, including nearest supermarkets, local walks and points of interest and the comprehensive information list they would receive prior to beginning the house-sit. Janne and I were impressed with the confidence in carrying out their responsibilities that Oliver and Isaac displayed during that initial meeting and which was evident on our return - from the care shown for the house and garden – and Poco, who we were assured, accepted them as his new house carers while we were away. The day before we returned from our short holiday, Olivia and Isaac kindly offered to prepare a meal for us on our return – something we really appreciated and which gave us the opportunity to unpack and rest after arriving home. Janne and I were most impressed with Olivia and Isaac, both for the obvious care they displayed with our home and Poco, and for their enthusiasm and love for their ‘Discover Australia Experience.’ We wish them every success as that continues, and for their future.
