Mark
We didn’t meet Mark and Anthony, but communication with them was excellent, both pre-sit and throughout our stay. With welcome gifts to greet us and the offer of helping ourselves to anything we needed, it was clear that they wanted us to have a really enjoyable stay.

Mark and Anthony’s VIctorian cottage in Dargate is very cosy, tastefully decorated, and wonderfully secluded - and their small English country garden is an absolute delight.

Bob the cat is a truly lovely chap. We were so pleased that he took to us right away, and was asking for head scratches in no time at all. If you take care not to startle him with sudden movements, chat with him, and allow him to come to you on his own terms, you’ll be rewarded.

Bob slept on the bed with us at night and didn’t disturb our sleep at all. And in the morning, he was very chill and not the least bit demanding with regard to his breakfast.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pet-sit to other sitters!

Lana
This was a lovely sit. Lana communicated well in advance of the sit, and we had all of the information we needed. Her house is comfortable with an enclosed garden. Strood station, with direct trains to London, is two minutes' walk, and there is a range of supermarkets within five minutes' walk. Historic Rochester with its beautiful cathedral and castle is a short walk across the bridge. Oscar is amazing - absolutely beautiful and a real character. Whereas many cats keep to themselves, Oscar was always a great companion. He meows very loudly, especially as a request to be brushed, which he adores. He often curled up on our bed in the middle of the night, and is just a lovely cat to look after. All in all, a sit which is thoroughly recommended.

Jerome
Jerome took great care of the home to make me feel welcome. It was unexpected and very nice to receive. Thank you for that.

I had an amazing sit in Eymoutiers. Jumbo is well trained and easy to manage, responding to his name and quick orders.

I recommend Jerome’s home and Jumbo for a sit in beautiful central France.

Thank you for everything

Clair
What a wonderful pet sit! Lily, the gorgeous golden retriever is the sweetest, most amazing dog I’ve ever met (and I have my own dog and volunteer at an animal shelter; I’ve met tons of dogs). She knows her schedule (meals, walks, games) and is a perfect dog in every way. She is so easy to walk. She loves hanging out (off leash) in the front yard … just chillin’ as she watches neighbors, cars, kids, cyclists go by. She may say hello (soft bark) to a few, but does not run after them.

Clair and Ron’s home is lovely; filled with natural treasures from their adventures. They welcome you to their home like you are family. They made me feel right at home & were available as needed with any questions. Though, we mostly texted about updates/photos about Lily.

The neighborhood is awesome. Friendly neighbors who are available if needed. They sometimes stop by to see Lily & might walk with you & Lily around the lake.

The next door neighbor had a movie night in his driveway while I was there. This place really is like a Leave it to Beaver episode. Such nice people who all look out for each other. Super friendly and super safe! You will love meeting Clair and Ron & Lily.

I truly enjoyed my week at Clair & Ron’s home & my time with Lily.

Megan
I spent a pleasant and relaxing Christmas in Megan's cosy home looking after Rocky and Cocoa. The cats are beautiful, very well behaved and laid back. They come and go through their cat flap as they please and they sleep in all sorts of places. I would find them in various warm spots around the house. There is underfloor heating so they have plenty of options. Cocoa particularly liked to hang out in the upstairs lounge with me in the evenings and she enjoyed being groomed and playing with her toys. Windsor is a fabulous place to stay at Christmastime. My highlights were attending the carol service on Christmas Eve in St George's Chapel at the castle and the panto on Boxing Day at the Theatre Royal. The shops are very good too, so my case was bulging when I came home.

Catherine
My stay at Catherine's house was very quiet and comfortable. She spoke Spanish so our communication was very good.
Lizzy and Oscar were adorable, very loving, a real pleasure to look after.
The house is very well located, close to all points of interest in Hastings
