Jacqui is the best. Fun, laid back, kind and also sensible/informative when needs be. Her communication was faultless. Such a lovely lady, with a beautiful house in a fantastic area and two adorable, low maintenance kitties. I really hope that we stay in touch and that I am able to sit for Jacqui again.
We had a Great stay with Bear, Waffles and Elliot!! Meeting the Stock family was nice, we shared a dinner the night before they left for their holiday. Aaron, Sonja, Natalie and Jasper were really nice people. The guest room was very comfy and the house and yard is vast and Beautiful. The neighbourhood is very nice. We especially liked walking to the town center and pick up some goodies!! Bear is a very good doggy, always wanting more play time ( he can leap like a deer and catch the ball with amazing Grace)!! Waffles loves to be brushed and petted!! Elliot loves dandelion and soft toothbrush strokes on his shell!! If you have an opportunity to sit here- don't hesitate!! We look forward to returning someday to sit once again !! Cheers
Farlen's place is a beautiful home in a very clean neighbourhood located amidst pine trees. It's just a short drive to downtown Truckee where you can find quaint, little shops, cafes and restaurants. It's a quiet, peaceful place where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. Though we didn't get the chance to meet in person, Farlen and Lauren made sure that I had everything I needed, was responsive to communication before and during the sit and made me feel very welcome in their home. Piña is one of the most adorable pups I've ever met, who loves to play fetch and go on walks. She is also very well-behaved and full of love, and will wake you up with doggy kisses every morning :) She was a joy to spend time with! I would definitely go back to sit for Farlen and Lauren again and certainly recommend this sit to others.
My boyfriend and I spent a week with Gizmo, Rita and Eric, in a super nice apartment! The pets are friendly and lovely, and the apartment has everything you need to spend a great time there.
I was fortunate to be able to meet Norma before her sit. She's very organized and easy to talk with. So on the day that the sit started, I arrived and she had everything out for me that Tarboosh and the fish would need and made sure that i was comfortable with the house and appliances. She has a clean and comfortable home. Tarboosh is a very sweet dog. We got on very well and we enjoyed our slow leisurely walks. The fish were quite fun to watch (very relaxing) and care for. I would gladly sit for Norma again.
Dave was great! Super friendly, hospitable, he let us stay for an extra day basicall. It was really helpful because our next housesit was only a 30 min drive. Dave is excellent! Super clean home. Midnite is a GOOD boy. Easy, friendly, and will be your sidekick. Sweet dog. He wasn’t much for walks but was encouraged to walk if a treat was offered. He needs taken out once every 2 hrs in order to prevent pees inside. Lovely sit. We would be blessed to return!
