We had the best time looking after Rafferty and Monty! They are lovely, good natured dogs who love cuddles on your lap and always like to be close to you. They are fine off leash but mostly we kept them on when on walks and they were fine with this. We took them to a nearby lake which was beautiful, although they were extremely excited in the car! They can bark at passing cars and nearby dogs but Lauren advised us of this prior to the sit and it wasn’t an issue as they were easily reassured. The chickens were easy to care for and we enjoyed their eggs. Lauren and her family we welcoming and even left us some treats! The house and neighbourhood are lovely and we had everything we needed. Communication with Lauren was good and she sorted any issues easily. Would recommend this sit. We miss Rafferty and Monty already!
Sanaz was such a wonderful, accommodating, warm host. We really appreciated getting to know her and her husband. The home itself is absolutely lovely and an incredibly relaxing place to unwind after our road trip. Merlin, although shy, is incredibly playful. Please take the time to play with him! This sit was altogether a wonderful experience for me. Seth and Sasha are absolutely delightful cats, full of personality, very affectionate (especially Seth, the more demonstrative of the two), very beautiful (as of course they know themselves), happy, relaxed, independent and a real joy to look after. Eric and Liz have a lovely, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped home – as do the cats, with their splendid conservatory bedroom. The location is great, and it's quite easy to get around by bus – the stop is only two minutes' walk away. Even the weather was exceptional for late October!
Oh, what can I say about these gorgeous girls? Cilla and Janet are simply adorable! As puppies, you can expect all the cuteness and fun in the world. Cilla is the friendliest dog I've ever met (not very different from her owner!) and Janet, being a 9-week-old puppy when we were there, still sleeps a lot. But somehow it feels very peaceful to just let her sleep on your lap, that little bundle of warm love. My son Thomas couldn't have had a better first-time sit, to the point of tears when we had to leave the girls! The village nearby, Cirencester, is gorgeous and is certainly worth a visit. Seeing the start of the River Thames was incredible, the water is so clear you feel you can drink from it! Thank you Micki for this opportunity, we had a great time looking after your puppies and your beautiful home. We would love to see Cilla and Janet growing up and would go back there as many times as possible, so we thoroughly recommend this house and pet sit. All the best to you, Mara and Thomas
We had the best time with Dee Dee!! She is a super sweet and caring person who went sooo far to make us feel home! She always made sure we have everything what we need. She invited us for brunch and paella party. Got us local cheeses from her holiday and she even let us use her camping gear after the sit. She is amazing i cant recommend her enough!! The dogs are super funny. We never had any problem with them. Both of them love cuddles, kisses and treats and have adorable personalities. They are full with energy but when we are home they are chilling nicely :) We loved the house as well. It has a beautiful garden where you can cook outside. There is huge balcony with seaview where you can chill out with the dogs and a wine and watch the sunset! We absolutely loved the whole sit!!! Thank you Dee Dee!!! 🥰
