Christine was a wonderful pet / house-sitter! Great communication, totally reliable, took great care of the pets and the house; we couldn't have asked for more and it meant we were able to fully relax on our break away. Sorry we didn't get to meet Richard who arrived after we'd set off, but from the photo our dog seemed to thoroughly enjoy playing with him. Thank you both, you're very welcome back any time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others on this site.

Linda and Owen came to stay and look afterPusseycat for seven weeks. They were perfect in every way. They came a day before which was nice and we were able to eat a meal together and get to know them. They are very relaxed , easy going, adaptable and what’s more a very likable Couple. I instantly knew that my cat and home would be well taken care of. I left them money and when flower season started, They kindly went and bought our hanging baskets for the chalet , which were stunning petunias just what I would have chosen….because going away when we did we’d have come home to not much choice up this mountain by mid June. Linda is an accomplished painter and sculptor and owen makes films. Bless them they had some awful thundery weather thrown at them from this mountain early on but always I got cheery reports and photos of the cat who, really adored Owen ….Owen played with my cat a lot I think as she’s quite a live wife and loves go chase string….she was looking for Owen and Linda when we got home….. I felt the cat and home were in safe hands and when we got home the place was so tidy and clean. I would certainly say “ hey pick Linda and Owen” I feel they fit perfectly as “ trusted Housitters”!!!!!

Louise & Stuart were amazing from start to finish. Communication was excellent and I had no doubt that the house & pooches were in experienced hands. They bonded immediately with Harvey and Lola and had a genuine interest in their wellbeing, keeping me updated throughout the sit with messages and photos. The house was spotless when they left. I hope they can sit again and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

This was Chris and Ian’s second housesit for us. Everything went very smoothly, our two dogs, house and garden had been looked after perfectly! Chris waited for us to be on the plane before leaving which was very kind as it was an evening flight and she had a long drive home. Fernando and Naiara were wonderful home and pet sitters. They are friendly, caring and our pets loved them . Martin and Esther were really excellent sitters. They took really good care of Tinka our cat and left the house extremely clean and tidy when they departed. Of particular value, they took really good care of our garden, which was absolutely critical as the sit was in the hottest and driest week so far this year - doing lots of watering and plant care. Top marks to them all round.

Emily was great, good communication, looked after our dog, Lexie, very well and left the house clean and tidy. Wouldn't hesitate to invite her again. Thank you.

Helen and Geoff took excellent care of Jet. We received pictures and details of how they had enjoyed their day and it was lovely to see Jet happy and relaxed with them. The house was extremely clean and tidy on our return . We certainly felt lucky that they wanted to visit here and care for Jet and we relaxed and enjoyed our holiday knowing Jet was in safe hands and having lovely walks out in the countryside with them. We were very nervous of leaving Tilly for our two-week holiday as she has severe separation anxiety. We needn't have worried! We were instantly reassured when Nadia applied. She was calm and kind, she understood the needs of our dog and of rescue dogs in general, and she was happy to take part in several Zoom calls prior to the sit to make sure we were all on the same wavelength. While we were away, Nadia updated us regularly and sent photos and videos of Tilly and herself on their adventures. As expected, Tilly did struggle initially to adjust to a new situation (she doesn't do change!) but Nadia was able to build her own kind and compassionate relationship with our dog, even teaching Tilly to be confident on buses! Nadia was meticulous about following Tilly's routine and liaised brilliantly with our dog walker and neighbours to ensure that Tilly's social life was not disrupted :) Nadia was super reliable and got on well with our neighbours, and both the dog walker and our neighbours commented that Tilly seemed relaxed and confident in her care. When we got home, the house was immaculate, in fact the bathroom has probably never been so clean before :). Most importantly, we could tell that Tilly had a great relationship with Nadia. We also really enjoyed getting to know Nadia and would recommend her unreservedly as a sitter! Thank you Nadia for making it possible for us to take a much-needed holiday and we look forward to seeing you when you are back down South again!

Jan and her daughter Holly were excellent house sitters. Despite their previous lack of experience with horses and sheep they put themselves out to visit before the house sit and learn the ropes. They stayed in touch leading up to the house sit which gave us confidence nothing was going to fall through nearer our own trip away. While with us they stayed in touch, sending daily updates and photos, reassuring us that everything at the house was in order while we were on holiday. A really good mother and daughter house sit combination. Would welcome again and recommend to others

Sonya is a very pleasant, self assured, highly respectful and kind young lady. From first meeting my animals they, my dogs especially took to her. By the time we returned even both cats were snuggling up to her, completely unheard of…. My house was absolutely as we left it, so perfectly in order too. I can’t rate Sonya highly enough, she was a real treasure and I certainly would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone or have her back here…. Lesia and Richard are absolutely fantastic pet sitters. I can not fault the care they gave to our two pooches Dotty and Bella. A lovely, friendly couple. They left the house clean and tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to have them look after our dogs again if they're free. Thank you both for being such good sitters. Dotty and Bella are missing you both!
