We thoroughly enjoyed housesitting at Jeremy's comfortable home with its beautiful gardens. Travis took us on numerous adventures, many of which involved inspecting the local pheasants! Jeremy was very clear and detailed in his information pack and we were able to meet beforehand, ensuring an easy handover. It was a great pleasure and privilege to look after Travis and we look forward to doing so again in the future. (many apologies for the delay in posting this feedback)
We had a wonderful stay at Anie and Laurie's place. They welcomed us with a magnificent dinner and we chatted like friends. In addition, they were kind enough to speak in Spanish with us. The house is imposing, with exquisite Mexican-inspired decoration. It has a gallery terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains and the Beznar reservoir. The country is divided into different levels, with charming corners to hang out. And Bear... what to say about Bear... he is noble, affectionate, good, friendly, active... he travels wonderfully by car and interacts with other animals in a relaxed way. He is a happy puppy and manages to make you participate of your happiness. With him we have toured the entire environment, which has a lot to do with it. Sierra, snow and beach.... someone gives more?? If you have the chance to enjoy a stay at Anie and Laurie's house, with Bear, don't let it pass you by.
I really enjoyed my ten days taking care of Pepper. Miranda’s apartment is very cozy and comfortable and it was fun to be in the west end. Lots of amazing restaurants and English Bay/Sunset Beach a couple blocks away. I respected Pepper’s boundaries and didn’t go in for pets, but after a few days she started to warm up to me and came for some cuddles in bed or while I was working at the desk. She’s very playful too, with her string and toys! I hope to sit for her again one day.
Xuri, Xuxu, and Boba are so sweet -- I'd love to spend more time with them! I was so honored when the shyest of them, Boba, came up and hung out with me shortly after I arrived. 😻 Maesha and her partner were so warm, welcoming and made sure I was set up for success. I had all I needed and enjoyed a very comfy stay! Thanks, y'all! If you have an opportunity to take care of this furry squad, I totally recommend you take it! 🙌
It was an absolute joy to look after lovely Ruby and Rapha whilst their parents were on holiday. As we live nearby, it was great to be able to meet first and get to know the dogs a little beforehand. We totally fell in love with them both and loved looking after them. There are some beautiful walks right on the doorstep and we discovered parts of Sussex we had not visited before. They are incredibly intelligent dogs and really well behaved both with very distinct characters, we hope to help out again in the near future, thank you Ruby & Rapha!
Hands down one of my favorite sits! Amy is kind, thoughtful, flexible, and loves her fur babies. She’s an excellent communicator, and I enjoyed the entire process from start to finish. Her apartment is so comfy and cozy, beautifully decorated, and the location is perfect! It’s close to grocery stores, immediately adjacent to a park, quiet, and just 1 mile from the main strip in Georgetown. Jasper and Stella are such precious pups and so easy to care for! They both absolutely stole my heart, and I had to fight the urge to take them with me when the sit ended! Jasper is spunky, playful, and cuddly. Him and I played together, and he often laid on my lap while I worked. Stella is chill and cuddly and also enjoyed some lap time. They are wonderful companions, and I got lots of snuggles with them. I would jump at the opportunity to sit for Amy again.
