Leah was the perfect pet/house sitter. My cat was well-fed and appears well-cared for. His coat is soft n' shiny, so I know she brushed him often, which he loves. She sent me numerous photos and videos of him playing with her. She washed and replaced all the bedding, bath and kitchen towels. My home even looks cleaner than when I left for my trip! I highly recommend her.
Meeshi and Khaleesi are the sweetest cats, and Atir has a lovely home. You can work from home, as there’s a WFH setup. The house is walking distance to a nice coffee shop as well, as an alternative. It was nice hanging out with Meeshi in the backyard. Khaleesi loves curling up in your lap wherever you’re sitting.
I loved staying in Jorge and Melissa's spacious and light apartment with Rufio. He is a lovely dog who charms everybody he meets and enjoys lots of cuddles. He is used to buses and trains so it was easy taking him to the beach and running around (him mostly of course) and enjoying the water. He is quite strong and can pull whenever he sees water, so you have to be careful not to loose an arm or let him get dirty :) But then again, he is a good boy as he lets you shower him off in the bathroom. Like a former sitter mentioned, he limps after a big walk, so you have to take it easy the day after. Enter cuddling, because when you watch tv Rufio happily joins you. The apartment is in a quiet but safe part of Haarlem with lots of green around so lots to explore and every walk is different. It's easy getting to the center for the nice boutiques and restaurants too. Melissa was so sweet to lend me her bike but I lazily took the bus which got me there in 10 minutes. I would be happy to return and spend more time with Rufio, it was a really nice holiday!
We had such a fabulous time with Cookie and Coffee! Emily’s place is perfectly cozy. She’s maximized and made the most of her small space—it feels light, lovely, clean, organized and not at all cramped. I also really appreciate how quiet it is! I loved sitting on the bed with Cookie (the least shy of the two), watching the Empire State Building twinkle on the hour. Emily’s place is in a fantastic location—right between midtown for fun tourist stuff and my favorite East/west village & Bowery. Emily is a great communicator, friendly, professional and very reasonable, which I appreciate. Her kitties are beyond sweet, delightfully entertaining and well behaved. I’d hop on a plane and hang in Chelsea with these two any day.
What a wonderful sit and and lovely place to do a sit, an excellent sit of 5 weeks. Bobbie and I felt as though we had known each other for years when we first met and i was made to feel very at home. Tpipsi was adorable but naughty, but we both enjoyed each others company. The house was beautiful in lovely gardens it was a shame the weather was not so good most of the time! I would recommend this sit to everyone without hesitation, close to Cardiff and the coast and lots of walks, a bit of everything available on your doorstep with a great host and a naughty but nice pussy cat!
I loved watching Hannah, she’s such a sweetie. Her home was very comfortable and her mom was communicative and flexible. Highly recommend!
