This sit was most wonderful in every way. Cari and Mike are kind and loving people who welcomed me the night prior, sharing dinner and acquainting me with their home and pets. Their home is very beautiful, affording eye-popping mountain views. I enjoyed the small non touristy town of Ridgway, but best of was the loving companionship of Kaylee, Ajax and Luna. Kaylee is sweet, gentle, loving and a dream to take on a walk or to the “dog park.” Ajax is a real character and had me wrapped around his little paw - he is sooooo cute and enjoys playing between his naps. We had an amazing time looking after Cat and Rob’s house as well as their adorable pets Sophie and Ivy. Sophie is an amazing dog with a lovely temperament. We loved taking her for walks around the area. Ivy is so loveable and friendly. We will miss them both. Cat and Rob made us feel very welcome on arrival, and gave us good instructions on how to take care of their home and pets. We would definitely house sit for them again.
One energetic puppy (Sylvie), two playful cats (Milo & Phoebe), and 8 chill hens made for a most entertaining housesit. The days flew by as we enjoyed our time interacting with this fun brood. Lots of laughs when Sylvie & the cats decide it’s time to play together! Susan & Christopher invited us to care for Sylvie, Phoebe, Milo & the hens when their scheduled housesitter had to cancel last minute. We were glad we were able to step in as Susan & Christopher are a wonderful, gracious couple. Their welcome packet was very thorough. Their house is comfy, the solarium offers great views of the woods & wildlife. The location affords multiple options for walking Sylvie in both the neighborhood and nearby parks. Susan & Christopher kindly introduced us to friends who were available to help out in a pinch. They made us feel at home and were easy to reach during our stay. As we are local to Ann Arbor, we are familiar with all it has to offer. We highly recommend the downtown for its restaurants, shops, performing arts, and of course, the University of Michigan sports!
The owners Stuart and Theresa are very friendly and welcoming people. We liked to be invited to dinner the day prior their departure so we get to meet in person. They have travelled a lot and it was great to hear from their experience. They made sure we understood how everything in the house works and that we had everything we needed. During our stay Theresa was always available by WhatsApp. When they returned they took the time to chat with us before saying goodbye. Overall, good and lovely people that we highly recommend. 😺 The cats - 2 Beautiful Maine Coons ❤️ Hard to describe how lovely they both are ! They are very friendly, easy going, clean and well-behaved cats. They have very different personalities : 1.Mona is the boss, she will have the first fresh bowl of food, the first water, the first play with toy, and Renoir respects his elder very much. She is a good girl, always around, love the attention, love cuddles, if you pet her on the head she will love you. 2. Renoir was more shy at first he preferred sleeping upstairs all day and only coming for food. But eventually he started spending more time with us, in the end he was downstairs a lot and asked for cuddles especially during the evening. He loves to eat, and will ask often during the day, so he requires a sitter that plans on not leaving home too long. The house It is a quiet neighbourhood by the beach with good walking, biking, running track. Parking in front is free and unlimited. The house is confortable, decorated with taste, and very very clean and organised which made us feel at home. The house is 2 floors + 3rd floor terrace. Our room was on the ground floor but there are others upstairs. There is a pool, patio with bbq and furniture, and a home cinema, so everything one person needs on a Sunday. Also, an important thing for European sitters like us : there is a real coffee machine, no more instant powder coffee, here you get to enjoy good coffee!

Absolutely loooooooved my time here with dear sweet Jiji! 🖤😻🖤 She is a gentle darling meow who now holds a huge place in my heart! She is a beautiful, curious and loving cat…it took a little while for her to warm up, but once she did, we were best buddies. She seems not to be a snuggler or a lap cat, but perhaps sometime in the future. She loves playing in her bag and in boxes and is excited for meal times and treats and loved chasing the jingle ball when thrown down the hall or on the other side of the room etc. She has favorite spots she likes to nap and she is beautifully photogenic and likes posing for pictures! Debra and Peter and Mia are incredibly kindhearted, generous and absolutely lovely humans! Their warmth touched my heart from our first video call…to our in-person meet and greet…to being welcomed into their beautiful, peaceful and cozy home and throughout my entire kitty cat care stay! Communication with them before and during my stay was always clear and kind. I also loved the neighborhood…it’s cute and walkable both to fun shops for window-shopping and a naturey path around the reservoir nearby. The trees there are gorgeous! I will absolutely a zillion percent come back to care for darling Jiji! Thank you so very much Debra, Peter, Mia and Jiji! You’re all fabulous!

Googled Pet Boarding and found Kiara in time for my trip to Cancun. I am always hesitant when leaving my dog but Kiara reassured me she would be in good hands and she was right. I called A Day in Cali very last minute to watch my going-on-senior pug. From the start, Kiara was very responsive and patient with me, answering all of my questions. As I am not from Atlanta and was just traveling through for a quick trip, Kiara made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog. My plans were very up in the air, and Kiara was extremely accommodating, meeting me (and helping me navigate Atlanta!). She texted me updates throughout the night and next morning and took my dog on some really fun adventures. I appreciated how cared for my dog was. I do not believe she would have gotten this much attention at any other pet boarding location. Thank you, Kiara, for everything you did for Glitzy! We hope to be back in Atlanta soon.
I recently moved to Atlanta and was looking for a reliable and safe option to board my 8 year old male Vizsla. Finding a place to board had been tough because my dog is not neutered. He is very docile and has anxiety around male dogs due to bad experiences with them. Benelli and I met Kiara and we instantly got along. She was very attentive to our needs. She goes the extra mile to ensure my pup feels comfortable in the house among other dogs. She routinely keeps me updated on his day and gives him a lot of love. I travel quite a bit for work and have to leave pup behind. Kiara has earned my trust to care for my most prized possession. I highly recommend Kiara to all my dog friends!
Kiara is absolutely wonderful with bruiser and Charlie we never have to worry when we leave them with her because we know she takes very good care of them they love her. We feel very lucky to have such a great caretaker for our pets feel like our children and we trust them completely in her care.

We left our 4 yrs old Japanese spitz with Kiara for a week and she was great. She picked him up from our house and also shared photos during the week and messaged us a lot about how our dog is doing. She also made sure to spent time with him before so he feels more comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend her.

I was nervous at first for my furry babies to have to go somewhere new but I had to find a place for the holiday because I had accidentally waited to late to make other reservations. I came across this business and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did! Kiara is so sweet and awesome with dogs. The environment was much more personable for the babies and they didn’t have any issues. I checked on them everyday and Kiara responded almost right away. Thanks again for everything :)
Jessica is the best she always manages to fit me in whenever I need her and she literally is the only person I trust to actually stay over night in my home to make sure my fur babies don't get lonely and get attention and she's trained in animal health so it's like having a vet come right to my house. Absolutely the best choice I've ever made when it comes to hiring someone that I can trust with so much in my hectic life!
Jessica is amazing! She has taken care of our pups, on a very regular basis, for well over a year. She has continually gone over and above in both caring for them, as well as keeping us informed on every single visit. Our dogs absolutely love seeing her! We couldn’t ask for more!
Jessica absolutely is wonderful! She has taken care of our pets for years, and she is always thorough and attentive. She once took one of the cats to the emergency vet when we were out of town, and she was great with our skittish dachshund and developed a wonderful bond with him before his death. These girls are super professional, super responsive and have taken SUCH good care of my furbabies! With my chaotic life, they have dropped everything to care for my pups - including on Christmas Day a few years ago! There is no one I would trust my girls with more. They take care of everything from "spa day" to "Mom has deserted us again" days and my pups adore them.
