We spent a lovely evening with Jules when we arrived as Ange was already in Spain. Max and Gia were lovely dogs to look after. Max was very obedient and easy to walk off lead. Gia was more cautious and preferred to be on the lead and close to us but she was very affectionate and liked pats and cuddles. We found the house to be lovely and clean and comfortable with a private garden at the rear. As it was in a rural setting, there were lovely walks in and around Pitstone. We highly recommend sitting for Ange and Jules to anyone who's interested. We would be more than pleased to sit again if we were available.
Roxy is very sweet and famous around town :) Broadstairs is a really nice place, probably more crowded in the summer because it's a beach town. Nicola and Paul are very welcoming and nice. If you come to sit Roxy, just know that she is perfectly able to listen to you and be a great sport, without any treats! 😊
Jimmy and Nicco were our first cats to sit and it was quite a amazing experience. Not having to take them for walks and sighting them once in a while during the day was quite different for us. At night, they loved their cuddles in the living room and each morning, we received a gift from them. It was fascinating! Allan and Heidi were a very chilled out couple and a delight in the short times we spent together. They made sure our stay was comfortable and we shared so much together. Allan ensured that he drove us to our next sit despite travelling early morning that day which we are grateful for. A great sit and great pets.
This was the first time we did a house/pet sit in our city and we absolutely loved it. Jessica and Ben and very friendly people and they provide really good instructions about their home and on how to handle the pets. The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you need to enjoy your time in Las Vegas whether you are coming to do work from home or to explore the city. All of Jessica’s pets are really sweet and have their own distinct personalities. Maggie and Penny and two large doodles. They are absolutely the sweetest and all they want is to get petted and hugged. They will cuddle with you on the couch or ask you to play fetch with them if you are up for it. Olive, the smaller dog is a little older but really friendly and sweet. It took her a couple hours to get to know me but once she got familiar with me she followed me everywhere and was my best friend. Kitty Kitty aka the Hippo is one of the best cats I met. He likes to get scratched under his neck but is also pretty independent and likes to explore.. He slept with us every night and made it so cozy! All of the pets are very low-maintenance and so fun to be around. The house itself is very comfortable with tons of lounging areas, TV’s and a fully stocked kitchen. Unfortunately it was too cold for us in December to spend time by the pool or to use kayaks, but I’m sure it is really fun to spend time on the water in this house once it gets a little hotter in Las Vegas. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience and we would love to come back here and spend time with the lovely Maggie, Penny, Olive and Hippo.
My stay at Danielle's place was great! Ozzy was well behaved and is excellent off leash. I took him on hikes with me, which was so fun. Beautiful home right in downtown Durango. I'd petsit again in a heartbeat! :)
Well I must say that Amos is the most agreeable, lovely, good-natured dog I have ever had the pleasure of hanging out with and caring for! He is super polite and respects your boundaries but also just wants to be with you all the time. Whatever you're doing, wherever you go, he wants to be within sight of you, if not right beside you (heads up if you want privacy when you pee you'd better shut that bathroom door, lol). Aside from one day when he had to stay home while I went to work, Amos came with me everywhere and we just did life together. He's got a way of getting under your skin and is really a happy, goofy soul who just wants to enjoy life with people he loves. Jen and John set me up for success with the detailed book all about Amos, his routine, and needs. It's a warm, comfortable house. Trails are within walking distance and the neighbourhood is a nice quiet one. Definitely an easy dog sit and I promise you'll miss Amos when it's time to say goodbye.
