This sit had me at highland cows!! I loved it, and I have a new big boyfriend in Adonis. They were very easy to care for, and I especially enjoyed feeding them their afternoon treats of apples or veges. Phoebe was a pleasure to care for and play with in the yard, and I loved our wake up morning cuddles. Leo was shy at first, but warmed up into a sweet love bug. Elvis is amazing. Not many cats like to be carried around, but he loves being held. He was the best cuddler and let me kiss him like crazy. Leona and Brock were wonderful hosts. I’m glad I got to spend a couple days with them before and after the sit. Their log cabin is gorgeous, and the surrounding views are stunning. It was one of the most quiet and peaceful sits I’ve done, and I’ve done a lot. You can take great walks with the dogs right from the house or explore the nearby towns with views of the Rockies on one side and the Purcells on the other. It’s an absolutely beautiful area of Canada. I highly recommend this sit and hope to return in the future.
We have just finished two wonderful weeks looking after Alfie and Dizzy. They are the most wonderful pets, loving, fun, extremely well behaved and such great companions throughout the day and curled up on the sofa with us every night. Also a real treat walking them as they are very happy to walk alongside you and so the walk is very enjoyable for all. We loved them and miss them. Maria and Dom's house and garden are gorgeous. Deer in the next field, sightings of hawks and other birds of prey. Lovely to see. We were provided with a beautiful bedroom ensuite which made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen with Aga, dining room and TV room also at our disposal and so it was a lovely experience all round. Maria and Dom are very generous easy going hosts which greatly enhances the house/pet sit. This was Buddy’s first time going to doggy daycare so we were kinda nervous about how it might go. Buddy is a very high energy Aussie so we were concerned that he might be too much. Our concerns were for naught. Employees at Wet Noses & Wagging Tails are well experienced with high energy dogs and were actually excited to meet Buddy. Buddy had a great time and the best part was, he was totally exhausted! 😆
Our dog Cooper absolutely loves WNWT. He gets so excited he starts barking as soon as we turn onto the road leading to it. It is reassuring when your pet is so excited about being left at doggy daycare. He’s never responded that way to anywhere else we’ve ever taken him. He comes home tired and happy every time! The best thing that could have happened to us and for our pup Regal is finding Wet Noses & Wagging Tails! From day 1, the staff has been just awesome! Her 1st day of school at just 4 months old all the staff really took care to nurture her timid personality. Regal completely feels at home there now and all the staffers have been so kind watching her grow up. W just LOVE that she can stay in doors with her friends when wet and cold out or outside on nice dry days. It has helped her so much in learning to socialize and more importantly to get her very much needed exercise fix. We were so nervous taking our (also nervous) dog to daycare and boarding for the first time. Our fears were quickly averted - they are helpful, friendly, and above all they love the dogs! I appreciated the extensive vet checklist and the fact that every dog goes through a temperament test before being admitted into the facility. Jane has done drop-in visits for my two cats when I’m away for about a year now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She has gone above and beyond at every visit from learning how to administer eye drops to my cat to bringing in delivered packages from the front door. She is so caring and her love for animals shows at every visit. One of my cats has high anxiety and doesn’t like most people. Jane has learned to care for him while acknowledging his anxiety and sensitive personality. I’ve never felt so free to travel without worry of my pets at home. Kat gave outstanding care to our 2 dogs while we were away. She is superb with animals (our dogs loved her), meticulous in her care, and also took excellent care of our home. She is trustworthy and a true professional. One of our dogs is high maintainence with medical problems so we were so grateful to have a caregiver who was able to give her the attention (and medications) she requires. Kat gave us frequent updates and regular photos reassuring us of their well being during the time we were away. I highly highly recomment Certified Veterinary Pet Care. We have already booked Kat for another planned trip and look forward to having her stay with our pups whenever we travel. Fantastic Service! I couldn’t find anyone to come out and help me give an elderly lady’s dog insulin twice a day so I could go say goodbye to my father in South Dakota who was put on hospice. Kat said absolutely right away! She even traveled quite a distance just because of the circumstances. This review is long over-due. Holly has been caring for our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) for quite a while now, and she has been absolutely stellar! She is very communicative and very compassionate in the care of our animals. Pricing is fair. Two of our animals have medical issues and one of our dogs in particular has some mobility issues. Holly is always attentive and ensures our pup gets to play without pushing herself too far (she would play fetch all day if she could). When Holly cares for your animals, you can tell she really treats them like family. I would recommend her 100%. Thank you Holly for all you do for our family! PS: She takes some pretty great photos!

We left our pet rabbit with Holly for a week. I knew right away that she was in good hands. Holly carefully went over all the instructions with us before we said good bye and made sure our little bunny had a comfortable set up. Holly provided care for our two cats for a week. I could tell by the cute pictures she sent each day that the cats were very comfortable with her. She even took care of an ant evasion we had, putting out ant traps we had to keep the pests away from the cat food! She always replied promptly to texts we sent while away. Holly has been incredible with our 1+ yo dog, Maggie. Maggie is full of energy and love and needs a lot of attention and play. My lab Millie has been going to Nightshift Petcare since she was 18 weeks old. Joy helped me train Millie and I attribute much of her sweetness to the time she spent learning to socialize with the other dogs at NSPC. Millie attends daycare 2x a week and there is no where else I would leave her for overnight boarding. Joy is the best of the best of the very best!!!

Was in the middle of an MS exacerbation and was unable to walk my furbaby. Though I was not an established client, they made sure that my ESA dog was walked throughout the day and evening, they even took and shared some photos. Adam and Deanna took care of our two cats over a 4 day vacation. We have an older cat that needed some special attention due to an injury and they were so accommodating and communicative the entire time. They clearly love animals so much and did a bunch of things that were helpful to us even without asking (like bringing in some of the packages on our porch, cleaning up litter around the box, etc.). We will use them again and would absolutely recommend them to take care of your fur babies! Side note: I've known Adam since we were 12 years old, and he's been an animal lover as long as I've known him. I remember one of the first things we talked about was our love for our pets (we both owned reptiles). He's an absolute stand up guy!
Deanna and Adam are amazing and super professional! They walk our Bernese mountain dog puppy weekly and tire him out! He gets to socialize with their dog as well, which is great! Our pup is always tired after a day with them!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Adam and Deanna and their sweet pups! When we started looking for a pet sitter, our older dog was recently attacked and was healing mentally from her bad experience. She was reactive (still can be a struggle) but she warmed up to Adam and Deanna quickly. They introduced her to their lab and we were shocked that they hit it off!That relationship helped heal her and a year ago we were able to introduce an Aussie brother to her. We never would have been able to be where we are without them. We are so incredibly grateful for their help. Could not recommend them more! They have expanded their team and everyone has been amazing.
Our two miniature schnauzers, aged 2 yrs & 7 yrs, love A Dog’s Best Friend East. They have both attended daycare and overnights on several occasions. The staff is very caring and attentive. The facility is safe and clean. Our younger dog also completed the excellent board and train program. Both dogs are eager to join in the fun when they are dropped off. They come home happy and tired from a day of play. We are grateful for A Dog’s Best Friend and would recommend any of their services to dog parents who are seeking quality dog care in Vancouver.
What a great place for a pup that's learning how to socialize! We just took our 6 month old puppy to be assessed for daycare. I love that there are webcams so we could watch Miles interact with the other pups. The staff was extremely attentive, the facility is clean, and I loved receiving photos and a report card at the end of Miles' visit. Not to mention, playing all day wore him out and he got to burn off his energy in a safe and positive way! We can't wait to book more days there.
The facility is awesome the enrichment to build confidence and tackle new things is a first time for me. Their training is amazing. Special shout-out to Taylor. Everybody here is so knowledgeable but she was super helpful with our offsite training. Already made lots of progress on our nervous Nelly. Pic 1 enrichment. Pic 2 training with a slip lead to get more confidence at the park. Yes his sister walks him around and guides him with his stress and nervousness it's adorable 😍🥰
We loved the doggy day care when we lived closer. Never had any bad incidents or habits picked up. I fully trust the staff with my fur-baby. I still drive all the way from the coast just to use this location for “sleep overs” when I need help in a pinch. We also did the ~2-3 week board and train at around 1 years old, with Taylor, and specifically asked for leash skill help. She’s now two and calmly walks with a loose leash. I frequently get compliments on her behavior.
WOW! What a difference three weeks with Taylor and board & train at A Dogs Best Friend can make. Holy smokes. We are so happy and very proud of our dog’s progress and have so much to thank Taylor for. Folks send their dogs to board and train programs for many reasons. For us, we wanted support honing previously learned skills, learning recall, and curbing a few unwanted behaviors such as excitedly lunging and jumping at people, fence fighting, and barking. We were nervous about so many things. What would we do without our boy for three weeks? Would his sweet and playful personality be the same when he returned? Could we stick to it and reinforce his learning at the end of it all? The three weeks away were tough. But we timed it with a family vacation which helped a lot. As for the dog we picked up at the end; Ozzie is the exact same amazingly sweet and playful dog. But he is so much more confident, calm, and responsive. He honestly seems like a much happier dog. Almost like he feels and shares the pride we have in him. And with the tools and confidence it has given us, we can now give him the fulfilling life he deserves. THANK YOU, TAYLOR! We look forward to continuing this journey with you.

I’ve been taking my Corgi to A Dog’s Best Friend East for boarding since we moved to Washington over two years ago. They have always been consistently welcoming, caring, pleasant and efficient. Several months back my dog needed medical attention while boarding. We were traveling out of state at the time. Staff was on quickly on top of things and took him to our vet nearby where we followed up.
We had a great experience with the ADBF board and train. Taylor, the trainer, was wonderful with our 2 y/o dog, Iggy. Even though it was hard dropping him off, he came back calmer and just a better version of himself. He continues to make gains in confidence and impulse control each day. The best part is that his dog reactivity is virtually nonexistent now, which gives us new freedom to go anywhere without anxiety. We can just relax and enjoy each other’s company. Thanks ADBF!
Our puppy and I love ADBF! Luna was extremely shy and skittish before we brought her to this place for puppy kindergarten. Before this place, she would freak out and had accidents at the vet, and would scoot back when people and pets approached her. After bringing her to their kindergarten program, she has been more confident and happy to be around everyone! She no longer whines or shy away at the vet, she can tolerate/enjoy it when people and pets approach her now. I love the webcams they have on their website, we can see what she’s doing during the day. Also we receive report cards at the end of the day and it’s very helpful for us to understand what she’s learned during that day! She also stayed overnight when we were on our vacation and we received how she did overnight. I really love their report card system! We really appreciate the staffs at ABDF.
My sweet pup learned so much and was well cared for. Taylor had such a calm demeanor at all times but was a respected leader for Lucy in her training. To be able to walk her on "heel" and be so mannerly in her obeying commands makes her even more of a joy. I'm very grateful for so many breakthroughs and will do my best to follow Taylor's training,
I had been searching for someone to drop by a couple of days a week to give my dogs some exercise and potty break while I was at work. Happy Tails has been my go to! Lisa, has been really easy to work with and accommodating of my schedule that can often change. My dogs are excited to see her and I know are well taken care of.

She is the type of person that would rescue a stray animal, help a stranger in need, be the first to welcome a new person to town, …..and the person you would want to watch your precious fur baby. Knowing that she is this type of person, I always have the most confidence in leaving my precious puppy and my home in her hands. She is great a communicator - takes pics and videos of my puppy while I am gone. She leaves the house immaculate after a long stay (while we’re away) and I swear that sometimes it’s even better condition than it was when we left. Lisa is a rare find. A genuine person. Lisa comes to my apartment complex and checks on my dog 2x a week by walking my dog around the complex. She has also watched my dog over a few nights a couple of times. You definitely can tell she has a lot of experience as she is patient, gentle, and compassionate towards my dog. I would recommend her to anyone that wants their cat or dog pet sitter by Lisa.
Lisa was recommended to us through an acquaintance and she agreed to meet with us and meet our dog to see if it might work out. She worked diligently with our pup to build repor with him and has been very helpful in improving his walking on a lead. She is very communicative and keeps me posted on how his walks and pet sitting are going. I can leave my home confident that my pet is in good hands. Megan was a LIFESAVER! We had a sudden trip and were unable to book our usual sitters, and so I reached out with less than 24 hour notice and Megan was gracious enough to watch our cats for us. Can't say enough good things: she was easy to communicate with, sent us pictures along with updates of how our babies were doing, and best of all the cats loved her! Megan was prompt to get back to me when I needed a sitter for my furry feline friend and was flexible coordinating our initial meeting to work best with my schedule, during which she took great notes and requested payment upfront for the initial sitting (the price is very reasonable, read more to see why!). When my trip had to be extended due to unforseen circumstances, Megan was there to save the day! As others have pointed out, Megan went above and beyond, accommodating unusual requests including brushing my little guy's teeth and watering my plants in the scorching heat. When I returned it appeared as though I never left, kitty dishes and litter box sparkling clean, watered plants, and one very happy kitty! I will most definitely be requesting her services again! ❤️

Megan was so wonderful when she looked after my cat on vacation. I knew she was perfect when she came in for the meet and greet with a cat notebook and obvious love for all feline-kind. I travel so much for work and Megan was prompt and on time when i reached out and made me feel at ease. I own my own business and nice to have someone I trust to watch my cat. Megan was a huge help caring for an injured rescue cat we had only had for a few weeks. She was calm and loving, and even provided wound care. Megan was there exactly when she said she would be with no surprise fees or incidents. I came home to a clean litter box, no litter tracked through the house and a comforted, relaxed cat.

Megan has taken care of my 16-year old cat, Chicken, on several occasions. She does a fantastic job, providing consistent updates and photos, making sure Chicken eats, has a bit of playtime, and has plenty of fresh water and human time. I don't worry about Chicken while I am away, which is exactly what I was hoping for with my pet sitter.
The only thing worse than having to leave your baby behind when going on a trip is the anxiety of leaving your baby’s care in the hands of a stranger. Fortunately, Megan has quelled that anxiety for me and made my life so much easier. I no longer have to strategize my entire life around my cat-child, or worry if I’m gone for a weekend (or even a week) because I know she and my home are in the best hands. Megan is kind, warm, responsible, and professional. She loves cats (even more than me if that’s possible) and is truly a doll to work with. I’m able to completely trust her, knowing my cat-baby and house are being well taken care of.

Excellent staff and facilities! My grand pup has visited both the East and west locations and is currently attending puppy kindergarten. She has learned so much and comes home content and exhausted. She loves going to school!
I'm always a little nervous when looking for a doggy day care for my pets. But the crew there were so kind and understanding it made it an easy choice. The facility is clean, I got to watch my dogs have fun all day with the workers and other dogs on the cameras. The report cards were a bit of fun and honestly a good show of how much they came to know my dogs in just one day and a sign that they really cared. My dogs came back tired but very obviously happy. Happy I went with them.
I've been taking my dog here for about a year and he just loves it! As soon as we get off the freeway and turn towards it, he starts bouncing around the backseat. Couldn't be more excited to go play! The staff is really nice and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well maintained. I've never worried about his health or safety coming here, which is huge for a facility that cares for so many animals. They do a great job, wouldn't take him anywhere else.
Staff very friendly & easy to work with... However, I was disappointed with the lack of engagement during my dog's stay (assessment day). As the pet-owner, you have access to live cameras to watch your dog throughout the day which gives you a good an idea of what they do. I think the dogs are just there walking around in a room or outside for Inside/Outside Play (so called). I didn't see any interaction from the staff with the dogs (if so VERY little), no play, no toys.... Not good for my dog unfortunately. Maybe I had too high of expectations!
My little doggie had so much fun! She seemed relaxed and happy when she came home. I appreciated that the people running it seem to really care about the dogs and got to know them personally. The report card was very cute. We'll be back!
We hadn’t brought Bailey to your facility in a long time and she needed to be re-evaluated. The people there always treat the dogs with the utmost kindness and Bailey seemed relaxed and happy when we picked her up. We have used daycare and boarding here before and will continue to do so. We have not found any other daycare boarding facility that we liked in Clark or Cowlitz County, so we’re always willing to drive an hour to board her. Highly recommended! Thanks, Ross & PJ
Wonderful daycare and training! The report cards for every day my puppy, Bubs, is there, the report card how what he did, how he did, and videos of his training. This is so helpful to know in order to continue the same training at home. The yearbook, pictures, and frozen treats you have are great added bonuses!! A Dog's Best Friend, you are the Best!!
A Dog’s Best Friend is the best ever dog boarding, doggie day care, etc. These people are absolutely amazing in how they truly care about the (my) dogs! I am probably on my 12+ years - and my third dog - of going to ADBF. The staff is well educated and compassionate. Numerous times they have gone above and beyond the call for me and my dog(s). I simply cannot say enough about this facility, the Manager and the staff. Double thumbs up for ADBF!
