Kate was a fabulous pet and house sitter, from our first contact through the whole experience. She was very comfortable with Gunnar from the start and he immediately took to her. I found him sleeping on the guest bed the morning after I returned home - I think he missed her! Kate took great care of my house, and kept in contact while I was away so I knew all was well. I had flown to Florida from Maine so I had to trust everything would be ok. Kate earned the title "Zeewoi" for sure. I wouldn't hesitate to have Kate back, and can highly recommend her to others. Five stars all around!
Thanks a lot to Anna and her husband for their trust. They were very welcoming and supportive hosts and it was a pleasure to be invited for a dinner on the first evening. I loved the time with their cute and friendly cat Colin and the stay in their beautiful house. Colin is a wonderful cat and it's a real pleasure to take care of him. It is a rural and quiet area and you definitely need a car which I have expected. Definitely a great sit!

Overall, I had a great experience at Stacey's place and would wholeheartedly recommend it. Cats Chaka, Bobbie, and Nora were a pleasure to sit for. Nora has had some health challenges but even with these limitations, she's living her best cat life. She's difficult not to fall in love with. Stacey and Michael are a lovely young couple, and I was glad to be able to meet them IRL before the sit. It helped me feel well-prepared and comfortable (demonstrating how to give Nora her pill, etc.) Their house is bright, spacious, and comfortable, and couldn't recommend the little town of Brevard more highly as the homebase for a Blue Ridge stay. Especially great if you like hikes and waterfalls. Don't hesitate if you get a chance to sit for the lovely Chaka, Nora, and Bobbie!
Adrienne and Ben have a cozy home with a lovely en suite bedroom in the English basement, which offers a refreshing summer coolness. Both kitties are low-maintenance. Hobbes is easily managed on his outside leash, only occasionally needing a quick untangling from around a tree, which is a simple task. Boo has a delightful personality and enjoys being close to you when you're seated but respects your personal space. I highly recommend this sit.
Staying at Lynn’s house was a wonderful time. Hail Mary and Sneak are so cuddly and loving, and the sunsets at the pink house are unreal. Lynn was easy to communicate with and she left very clear instructions for everything. 10/10 would recommend housesitting for Lynn!
Ingrid is such a wonderful soul with an open heart. I was made to feel at home and I had the most fun and loving duo to keep me company. I'm looking forward to coming back and spending more time enjoying the house and company. Cheers!
