Cat Sitters in Burton Upon Trent

After discussions with Miriam prior to the sit as to the requirements of my dogs we agreed she would come with her partner. They were both a delight and could not have been more pleasant and thoughtful. My dogs have very different needs, due to their disparity in age and breed. The needs of both were met with love and care. I am hoping they can come back next year.

Angela and Derek were excellent Housesitters. We came home, tired after a long journey, to find everything exactly as we had hoped. Even a sandwich for our lunch waiting in the fridge for us. The house was clean and tidy and linen on the beds changed. Our circumstances necessitated a changeover of our home and pet Labrador, Hazel, to Angela and Derek for the final week by another couple of Housesitters, They were totally cooperative and accommodating with this and even spent a night together with the other sitters to facilitate a smooth and easy handover. Angela and Derek gave Hazel a lovely time, with plenty of long walks and lots of affection. She had clearly become attached to them. We would totally recommend Angela and Derek as excellent, trustworthy Housesitters and would be more than happy if they volunteered to sit for us again one day in the future

Jessica was absolutely brilliant with our large dog . She was incredibly communicative in the lead up and during the stay, and kept Dougie entertained and well looked up during the 10 days whilst we were on the otherside of the country. We hope to have Jessica back with us in the future!

Glynis looked after our home and garden for us while we were away. Everything perfectly cared for in our absence! We'd have no hesitation in recommending Glynis as a sitter. This time she just took care of our home and tended the garden, but previously she looked after our dog very well too.

We were very lucky to have caught Jemma and Kieran in between sits and at fairly short notice, when our usual arrangements with family fell through. It was clear from our initial zoom chat that they were going to be the perfect fit. We were impressed with their experience and the situations they had handled on previous sits, and we loved their passion for pets. Whilst we were away Jemma and Kieran sent regular updates and photos of our cat Violet. They took care to administer her medication and gave her plenty of attention, especially with her toys (Violet takes playtime very seriously!). They were particularly attentive with the house and garden, maintaining the hot tub and mowing the grass whilst we were away. It was lovely coming back to a clean home, with freshly made-up bed. They even got us some fresh baguettes and butter from our favourite store! They also got involved in some local volunteering activities, which was very welcomed in the community. Jemma and Kieran are a warm, friendly couple who are extremely diligent, reliable and thoughtful, and we’d happily have them back to sit.

Tatiane was an excellent pet sitter with great communication and both cats really took to her quickly. Tatiane sent us lots of updates and photos which we really appreciated and we came home to a spotlessly clean flat and two happy cats :)

Julia was a super sweet and reliable sitter for Nala & Lola! ❤️ Although it was a short stay, Julia was reliable, communicative, and made sure she understood all of our instructions for Nala's special needs. She also sent us heart-warming video updates every day. We came home to a clean home and happy cats! Julia clearly loves cats and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other pet-parents. Sue and Jayne are amazing house sitters. Our dogs took to them immediately, my seedlings were well nurtured and the house was lovely and clean on our return. It is lovely to be able to go away and know that your home and everything about it is in good hands, and we knew that was the case with Sue and Jayne.

Thomas was great with my cats, they warmed to him straight away and he was especially good with my older cat who is sometimes overlooked when the kittens are around! Tom communicated well and arrived early so I could show him where everything was.

Rosie and her mum Fran were delightful. Communication before and during the sit was very efficient and informative and the house was left beautifully clean. I would have them back for another sit and would highly recommend them to other members.

We’ve had a few cat sitters and Caroline and Dave were the best by a mile! Very sensible and trustworthy. It meant we could go away and completely relax. They kept us updated on the cats and we came back to a super tidy home. Would highly recommend.

Stephen was brilliant turned up with plenty of time for a handover, was super organised about routines and feeding for the dogs and gave them lots of attention. He left the house immaculate and kept in touch with us as we had requested throughout his stay. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you very much.
