Staying in a smart home was a new experience for me, but I quickly found it was comfortable and beautiful. The house is located half a block from the Bosque trail, and that was wonderful. Einstein is a treasure..quite a personality and a funny, well-behaved, playful presence. Stephanie and Ed are very accommodating, communicative and lovely people. A pleasure to stay at their house.
Robert & Nadia are exceptional hosts and nothing was too much trouble at all. They took the time to show us around Rugby town, which included treating us to lunch at a dog friendly venue before they headed off. Their communication leading up to the sit was excellent and everything was covered with detailed information left for us. They also arranged for a family friend to take Ryiledh whilst we had two pre-arranged family catch-ups, as Ryiledh cannot be left any longer than an hour alone or he frets. As for Ryiledh, he is adorable and just wants to be close to you throughout the day. He is very food orientated and his internal time clock is quick to let you know when it’s meal time. He loved his walks and walks very well on lead. The house and garden is beautiful with public transport and local shops within an easy walk. There are many nice walking trails not far from the house and the town centre is approximately an hours walk away. We will miss Ryiledh and the walks in the local area.

Kaja and Satan are the BEST! Kaja's warm, grounded energy spoke to me from the first messages we exchanged, and when I stepped into her colorful, cozy apartment after a long train ride, I felt at home immediately. We had a delicious supper and then had time for orientation. Satan warmed up to me quickly, and I absolutely adored sitting with him for hours and having him in bed with me. He would run to greet me when I arrived after being out for a bit, and our morning routine of food, treats, and then brushing/inhaler was so sweet and fun. Kaja's space is delightful and colorful, and I had fun trying out her hula hoop! Kaja and I kept in touch, and I appreciated her sharing a bit about her trip as I shared updates about Satan and my activities. I would return to hang with Satan and Kaja in a heartbeat! Thank you!
I had a great experience taking care of Macha and Reza on Julia’s lovely property. This sit did require a little more commitment but it was worth it for me. Julia is incredibly thoughtful and she provided very detailed instructions that came in very handy during my stay. Julia was also kind enough to allow me to come and stay with her the day before to get acquainted with the dogs and her property. She also took me out for a lovely dinner when she came back and offered me to stay the night before my next sit started. Macha and Reza are very independent dogs and it took them a day or two to accept me. They were super chill and friendly once they realized I could give them their favorite snacks. My room was super clean and comfortable and I had access to the entire house. The views from the house are wonderful and I felt very safe staying there alone. I will come visit Julia and the ladies if I ever get the chance again. Thank you Julia!

We have been using Barking Trails for our 1-year-old French Bulldog, Rex, since September 2016 for 5 walks a week. The Barking Trails staff has been amazing and so accommodating of all of my requests. They are extremely flexible when my schedule changes. Rex love his walker Anna and the owner Tristan. They take such good care of him even though he can be a handful. Their prices are the best in area and I have no complaints about the service. I highly recommend them!
Adam from Barking Trails has been walking my lab for about 4 months and I am so thankful for him! Super professional- when I tried out other dog walkers before him no one else had been prepared with contracts and clear explanations etc. He is always accommodating if my schedule changes and makes sure to update me if his ever changes as well. He even made a big impact on how my dog walks on the leash- he used a couple techniques to get him to stop pulling and made the walks more enjoyable for all of us. My husband and I had to find a new dog walking company due to our old dog walker moving in the Fall of 2019. We stumbled upon Barking Trails and are so happy we did. Tristan the owner of the company welcomed our dog Jax with open arms and came to our house personally to introduce us to a dog walker that he thought would be a good fit for us. Tristan and his team are very trustworthy, they come take Jax for 30 minute walks to help get his energy out and they are reasonably priced. They also offer overnight services. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a responsible, dedicated team that will care for and love your dog as much as you do!
Barking trails is the best. They provided care for my-year-old golden retriever all winter, and they were completely responsible, on time, and flexible.. I've had other dog walkers who were not nearly as easy to work with. Most importantly, the walker that worked with Mo quickly established a very good relationship with the puppy.
I reached out to Barking Trails to arrange a walker to help with our chihuahua senior dog who is both deaf and blind and needs special care. They were very professional, friendly and responsive. After the initial meet and greet I knew our dog was in the best hands. Our walker was extremely caring and treated our dog as if he were her own. She was able to do early mornings and accommodate our dogs difficult schedule. She even last minute was able to do nightly stay overs when we were out of the country. Everyone from Prance Around Pet Services has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Their sitters have been so good with my animals. It's not the easiest thing to find someone willing to pet-sit a snake, but Prance Around has sitters familiar with any type of pet you may have. I wish we hadn't moved out of their service area, I have yet to find another pet sitter of their caliber. My animals and I will truly miss the team!

My dog is blind, so it is always best for her to remain in my home instead of going into boarding. I can always count on Prance Around to show up and take good care of my girl. They write detailed notes about their visits and send the best photos of the time that they spend with my dog. It is very easy to schedule services on their website, and the owner responds quickly to texts and messages whether by phone or the chat feature on their website. Their prices are also very reasonable.

Prance Around hires the best petsitters ever. No matter who they send to my home, they quickly bond with my two furkids and the daily email reports aren't just informational, they provide details that assure me the sitter really "gets" my pets. In fact, my favorite pictures of my beasts was taken by one of the petsitters. I've used this company for years and if you live in one of their service areas, you should use them as well.
Hello, I went out of town for 4 days mid January and Prance around pet services provided exceptional care for my cat Diamond. Everyday I received an email with pictures and details about how my cat was doing. She was well taken care of while I traveled. I will definitely book with Prance around Pet services again. Absolutely amazing experience with paradise for pets! My dog boarded there over the 4th of July weekend and they took such good care of him. The staff made sure to have me come prior to the boarding date to temperament test him to ensure he can safely interact with other dogs. I didn’t expect such a thorough test as kennels I’ve experienced before did not spend hours to get to know your dog. This place is the phenomenal, they truly care about your pets and their wellbeing. Taking the time to ensure they can properly handle the dog in addition to observing behavior of the dog in group settings shows how above and beyond they are willing to go for potential new clients. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in their care, I cannot thank them enough!
This place was so amazing for housing my cat on the same day that I called. It was very difficult for me to find a cat boarding facility and luckily paradise 4 pets had space available and treated my cat very well while I was away. Their pricing is not bad at all and the staff are all so friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Food and water was provided as well frequently depending on what your cat is used to at home. And for new customers, you get a free night if stay is longer than 4 nights! Will definitely be using paradise 4 pets again in the near future.
Been taking my pup here for the past 5 years, the staff is very friendly. The facility is clean and well kept up. My pup loves to be outside and is able to socialize with other dogs.

I have borded my cat here a few times and it's an excellent facility, with a great staff. It has a separate building just for Cats, that is clean, quiet, and very safe. The walkway to the building is fully enclosed with a Multiple Double Gate System, so no chance of an accidental escape. So even if a Cat were to get scared and get loose, it could get no further than the next locked gate. Since it's completely enclosed with fencing, nothing can climb or jump out. You have to close one gate, before you get to the next one, and a few more gates after that. Completely Enclosed from the Ground and Overhead. Very Safe and Secure. The Cat kennel has Cat Trees, Cat Tunnels, and lots of toys, and windows so your cat can look outside from their Cat tree. Great Facility and Highly Recommended!

Paradise for Pets always show care for my Domino and I am very satisfied with the care they give. I just left my pet with them for 2 weeks, and my baby was happy, clean and excited. The staff are wonderful, I am satisfied.

I have only just started bringing my dog to Paradise For Pets but they have been so incredible. They are extremely affordable for an extremely reliable and quality service. They have remembered my dog each time I bring him, remembered all of his allergies and needs, made sure he's 100% comfortable, and always been friendly and responsive. The facility is stunning and kept up very well. My dog truly loves going there every time, he doesn't even look back while I'm leaving (and he's got decent separation anxiety). I cannot say enough good things about this place, your dog truly is in wonderful hands.

Quality time is made up of caring professional people. When I had need for a mid-day dog walk they were more than glad to cover that. When I had need for an evening visit they were there for me. They are bonded and insured and love working with pets.
I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!
Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.

We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it
I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.
Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. Easy to use app and service.

My senior pup, Kaylee (9 years old), REALLY loved her first day of daycare at the Wagging Lounge! She was keen to explore and meet everyone from the minute we walked in, and she loved everyone on staff (including the men, which was pleasantly surprising given her history of meeting some other men). She’s quite independent, so she apparently spent the day dog watching and hanging out with all of the humans. The spaces are clean, the staff are friendly, and the prices are a good value. Kaylee will be coming back for a week-long stay later this year, and I know she and I are both excited about that! For now, she’s a bit tuckered from her adventure.
Our dogs, Fresca and Sydney, love Wagging Lounge! The girls howl with excitement when we turn the corner knowing where they are going. Every staff member has been very helpful and we are so thankful they take care of our girls so well. We don't have to worry about anything during the day or when we go on vacation. My husband and I love seeing the daily photos and videos showing all the pups having fun.
We love WL and have recommended it to every friend in the area that was looking for boarding or daycare! They have taken care of our doodle Tonks so well, she absolutely loves heading in for daycare and she’s always so worn out after a long day of playing with the other dogs. You absolutely can’t beat the Wagging Lounge!
Even after moving 30 minutes away, Wagging Lounge is STILL the only place we board our dogs. We love the trusted staff and dog savviness they have. They know Bear and Lily by name and are always so happy to have them boarding. Wagging Lounge deeply cares for the dogs that come and know all the ins and outs of them.
Our dog Luna loves coming here! We tried a few days of daycare prior to boarding her. We liked that the dogs are evaluated to make sure they are having an okay time before being kept and we loved her report card on her first day. When we drop her off she doesn’t even look back to us she is so excited to go play with her friends. While Luna was boarded it was also great to know her schedule and see daily photos to let us know she was doing well!
Our dog Hobbes always has a great time at Wagging Lounge! They take great care of him and he gets some socializing and exercise during the day. The boarding options are also very convenient for us. The staff are always very friendly, recognize him, and very communicative. He’s always excited to walk in the door!

We started sending our dog, Duncan to wagging lounge when he was just a puppy! I was so nervous dropping him off because he was such an anxious pup. He absolutely loved it! We love the daily pictures and the staff take such good care of our fur baby. Our usually skittish dog has the best time! The staff at wagging lounge are extremely personable and accommodating. When my husband and I were expecting our baby in the summer they immediately made room for Duncan in their boarding schedule, as we had to quickly rush to the hospital. We love wagging lounge!!

We love sending our pup, Lisa, to the Wagging Lounge Dog Resort Of particular pawesomeness is that they post pics of her having a blast! They also make me feel like she is the coolest pup they've ever met and that they truly love her and care for her. She overcame her longstanding fear of cars after just a few trips to Wagging Dog-- I think because she started to associate the car with going to daycare! We are truly grateful for the care they take of our pup. I'm a mom of 3 human kiddos who have been in daycare, too-- and i really appreciate the special love and affection -- it is invaluable.
We absolutely love Ming’s place for daycare and boarding. Our golden doodle Ollie has been going here for daycare since he was 4 months old and it’s been a little over 2 years. Ollie is generally a little shy, but when we drop him off he zooms over and is so excited for a day of fun and play. They treat him like family and I’ve visited a couple of places for daycare, but this place doesn’t compare. They don’t crate Ollie and they allow him to roam around the house, just like he would in our own home. They have a huge yard and also Ollie always comes back clean, even if it rains (no muddy paws). In the Bethesda location they have a whole playground just for dogs! They give him so much love and attention. He loves everyone there and they also upload cute pictures of him during the day on the app. We have used his boarding service before as well and they took great care of Ollie. It is literally the only place we trust to board our dog, because we normally have family watch him. Ming’s team is also super reliable, responsive, and organized as well. Don’t look anywhere else - send your pup on a mini vacation at Ming’s place today!
My dog has the best time with when he gets boarded overnight!!! The ability to sleep in a bed and not be crated is so comforting for me as I know he’s treated like family. He is always so happy to leave my car to get into their car at drop off and his pictures that they send daily are proof that he loves it. He has some reactivity issues when home with me but they seem to be nonexistent when he goes to Ming’s Place and I’m not worried either as I know they train and rehabilitate rescue dogs all the time. They gave me some valuable training advice that I am forever thankful for as well. Also they call if there is any concern and the ability to text them is the best.
There is nothing more important than knowing that my dog is safe and well cared for while I am away from home and Ming's Place has given me that peace of mind over and over again. I have used Ming's Place for boarding numerous times over the past several years and I could not be happier. The folks at Ming's (a group of extended family and friends) love dogs and make the effort to know each dog individually and take care of each dog's individual needs. There is an enormous yard where the dogs get a lot of outdoor time if they want it, the inside is clean and comfortable and most important, the dogs are well supervised and never left alone. The communication while my dog is at Ming's is superb and my dog always comes home healthy and clean. I know my Ringo loves being at Ming's because of the way he runs toward them with excitement every single time he sees them. I am so comfortable and happy with the care at Ming's that I have referred friends to them many times. I can honestly say that Ming's Place is worth every penny and I recommend them for boarding without hesitation.
We adopted two young beagles from Kentucky who are fun and feisty and live true to the names we have given them: Thelma and Louise! In our search for the best daycare/boarding environment, we came upon Ming's Place. The entire Care Family is worth its weight in gold! They are knowledgeable, loving, flexible and truly adore dogs. We get pictures every day and it's clear that Thelma and Louise love being in their home. We highly recommend Ming"s Place!
I swear my furbaby happily knows when she's about to be dropped off at Ming's for boarding! After a couple of okay boarding experiences, my girlfriend recommended to me that I try Ming's. The whole team is really sweet, and it's obvious they love dogs so much, and they care for the dogs as their own. They appear to be very organized with all the other dogs as well in terms of special diets and medications. My fur baby gets a lot of outdoor exercise and human attention, and she gets so much playtime! I love that I get updates everyday on how she's doing. When I'm on vacation, I'm relaxed knowing that my doggo gets one too!
Our golden doodle Lola has stayed at Ming’s place for the last four years. She is always well cared for and gets so excited as soon as we turn into the neighborhood! We know she is in good hands when we leave her which makes our travel less stressful! Thank you!
I have boarded Archie at Ming’s place for the last few years. The staff is super friendly and very responsive. They are very flexible with my schedule and always there to accommodate us! Archie loves to spend time there and is always super happy when I pick him up.
I have to say this is the best place my dog and cat have ever been. I concern a lot because my cat never gets along with many dogs before and my dog has kneecap issue. But Ming and his staff are very warmed and patient by following my feeding/activity instructions. They helped keep my cat inside all the time, and update me everyday. I believe my dog always has happy time with them. Recommend Ming’s place a lot!
We could not be more thankful for Ming and his team. Our dog had a history of aggressive behavior that we were never able to properly address until we found Ming's Place. Our dog's behavior has changed drastically (for the better) and it has truly changed our lives forever. Ming is a miracle worker when it comes to training and caring for dogs and the dedication the team gives to their rescue service is beyond admirable. We love Ming's Place so much and will be bringing our dog back any time we need him boarded, for training reinforcement, or honestly just because we love it :)

a great experience! Jeanette came out to meet myself and our cats before we scheduled anything, she's so sweet! we got a (free!) lockbox, and after a tour/meet and greet/pointing out where supplies, etc are kept, we were able to schedule. everyone is so communicative and responds quickly, not to mention we requested services fairly last minute, and were accommodated - for this, we are so grateful! we got a report after each visit, and our girls were very well taken care of! we will definitely use The Right Fluff again when necessary, and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for pet sitting services.
Excellent experience...from the initial, introductory meeting with Jeanette through several days working with terrific pet sitters. My two Havanese pups were handled professionally and with great attention to detail. All of my requests were covered...and the sitters shared so many great pictures throughout the day. The pet sitters came to my home 3/day and sat with my pups for 2 hours giving them lots of attention while we were on vacation. If you are looking for a professional, dependable pet sitter... look no further. Highly recommend !!

We recently moved to Bethesda and are so lucky to have found The Right Fluff. We have already trusted them twice to take care of our 14 yr old asthmatic tabby while we travel. They came twice a day and sent us detailed descriptions of how she is feeling, eating, and taking her meds. We also get pictures(example attached)! Their online portal and scheduling tool is easy to use as well.
I really wanted to love this pet sitting company and I intended to use them every time we travel because of their glowing reviews… I was hoping our experience would be as amazing as other reviewers have described theirs… Unfortunately we came back from our trip to find our place in a horrific condition, there was pee all over our chase and couch, blankets and pillows, we had to throw it all away. The pee smell was sooo strong yet nobody from this company has noticed anything when I asked how could they let this happen… And for the reference we have 3 air purifiers, so you get the picture how bad it was… Cats were luckily okay and alive but all my plants have died since they have not be watered at all, and per my instructions they were supposed to take care of the plants too and water them regularly… I have reached out and expressed my grievances with the company and asked for a refund, they declined and suggested to replace all our dead plants, but that never happened and they took no responsibility for the issue with pee all over the house… So be aware, I would not recommend this company!!! Our experience was absolutely horrible, they are reckless and careless!!!
Excellent service. Within two days of my initial call, Chelsea had visited me and my cats and arranged for two days of pet-sitting. Friendly, professional service. Easy to arrange. Very accommodating. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone needing a reliable pet-sitting service.
I have never left my 4 cats before so I was very worried about how they would do with a stranger coming in to check on them and take care of feedings, litter, etc. One elderly cat requires medication twice per day, one hides when strangers come in the house, and the other two make feeding four cats extremely difficult as you cannot get the food into the dishes without them trying to get at the cans. They are also all the same breed making it hard for people to tell who is who. None of this was an issue for the Right Fluff. They took such great care of my precious cats and truly put my mind to ease that they were safe and loved while I was away. I received updates and photos after the visits letting me know how everyone did. I am so happy to have found this great service and am looking forward to taking more time away from home knowing my cats have a great sitter!
We love The Right Fluff! We moved back to the area & needed to find a dog walker about two months ago for our two rescue dogs (medium-large sized). We feel so lucky to have found this group! They not only follow all the instructions/requests we provided (for our sweet yet particular pups), but they also provide timely updates/photos, clear communication & are always flexible with scheduling changes. I cannot rate this team highly enough! My wife and I had never used a pet sitter before, but we were traveling out of the country for ~2.5 weeks and wanted a pet sitter (we have two cats) that we could rely on. Marcy and Erin were both incredible to work with, they were very responsive and obviously knowledgeable about what they do. We had a meeting for them to meet our pets and go through our home/how to take care of our cats, and then afterward we arranged for the actual specifics of our trip (key drop off, etc.). All communication is logged via an online web service that has an app, but is also easily accessible via email/web browser. Each day that Erin visited she took photos of our cats for us to see, and also gave us a detailed description of how they were doing. Erin's messages became one of our favorite ways to start the day while we were away :) Would 100% work with this sitter again!
The Right Fluff Pet Sitting took care of my two cats for 3 weeks in July (2022) and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I found my girls in really good shape. I was very stressed because one of my cats is diabetic and needs to receive insulin twice a day. Scott and the team were absolutely perfect, they administered the insulin without problems, and I received reports and pictures for every visit. That let me to enjoy my vacation knowing that my cats were well taken care. My cats loved them, even the one who is always scared of strangers went to say hello every day to them and allow them to pet her. I will for sure use their services again next time I travel.
Vanessa and Paw Perfect Care is absolutely AMAZING!!! Anyone looking for dog day care, boarding or walking we would highly recommend Vanessa and Paw Perfect Care. We had a family member that was suddenly in the hospital and needed somewhere to board the puppy since we live out of state. Vanessa went above and beyond to support us during this difficult time and was amazing with our families puppy. Vanessa would provide updates and we even saw the puppy flourish during time with Vanessa. It truly meant the world for us to know the puppy was so well taken care of and in good hands so we could focus on our family member. We truly can't thank Vanessa enough for all her support and kindness.

Vanessa was able to squeeze our 2 pups in for a 12 day stay just 2 days before Thanksgiving (bad planning on my part). Our pups came back well fed, taken care of, and calm (they're usually feral and exhausted) when they come back from a boarding place. Highly recommend!
Our two-year old Rottweiler had a great experience at Paw Perfect, from the extra cuddle and play time to the nice, long walks in the park. We can't begin to thank the team at Paw Perfect for the care shown to our big boy. We'll be returning!
