1st of all thank you Lauren and Chris for an opportunity to house it for Penny and Truffle. I really enjoyed my stay there at their gorgeous home, I'd love to rant & rave about the amenities (luxurious & well thought out designed home!). They are so accommodating and caring. They opened up their lovely spacious home and extended their pantry to me which I was so grateful for. About Penny and Truffle, they are the easiest pets to care for and so easy to love. They have their individual personalities and it is so cute to watch them play with each other! They really enjoy their walks, snuggles, & being on the deck when the Weather permits. I would absolutely house and pet sit for them again If invited. If you have an opportunity, I would not pass this up. Thank you, blessings Lauren & Chris!
We had such a wonderful Christmas sit at Tegwen and Jason’s beautiful new home in Chippenham. We enjoyed a meal together when we arrived and found Teg and Jase to be great hosts, friendly, warm and welcoming. Communication was excellent from the start and the welcome guide and handover gave us all the information we needed. The house is really comfortable and warm, we slept very well in the spare double room, and as a new build everything is modern and works beautifully. Wi-Fi is strong and reliable and parking is on the drive or right outside the front door. Transport connections to Bath from Chippenham are fantastic and you can get the bus into Chippenham from across the street. Now to the very best bit :) the adorable Modge and Little One. We miss them already. Modge is a gorgeous cat with a beautiful character, we quickly became firm friends and realised that she loves to chat and will come up to you for gentle strokes and even a face bump. Little One is such a cute character, she is more sensitive to sudden noises or movements, but absolutely loves to cuddle up beside you for belly rubs and strokes once you are settled. They really are the best company and a delight to care for. We whole heartedly recommend this sit and hope that we will be able to sit with Modge and Little One again in the future.
Cai and Daniel were great hosts, communication was clear and easy. Mackie and Anneke are adorable and a pleasure to look after. I would recommend, location is convenient for shops and Glasgow city centre, and would be happy to cat sit again anytime.
We loved looking after Lottie & Bubbles. If you've never looked after a dachshund before you are are missing out, they are so entertaining & loving & Lottie is a marvellous example, she had us laughing so often. We visited Peggy & Phil at their beautiful home before the sit & we all hit it off immediately. They are warm & welcoming & smart & very easy to deal with. Peggy left a ridiculous amount of gourmet food for us, we actually couldn't eat it all in the week we were there, so generous. And Christmas presents! We recommend this sit highly, we would love to go back. I still look at the videos on my phone of Lottie's antics & have a chuckle.
Sitting for Hilary and taking care of Max (and the fish!) was a dream from start to finish. Hilary was very communicative, welcoming, and clear about her pets' needs, both in writing and in person; Max is a total love and one of the smartest, sweetest dogs I've ever known; and Hilary's home is beautiful and has the most gorgeous views of the surrounding farmland, Mount Holyoke (mountain across the street), and the Connecticut River. Hilary and Max made me feel right at home, and I loved hiking with Max everyday, playing with him out in the lovely backyard after dinner, and cuddling with him anytime. I would take care of Max and the fish again in a heartbeat!
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Debra and her gang. Her house was warm and comfortable. Coquito is a big love with a loud bark (don't let that fool you - he's all heart). Oscar is entertaining and Willis is very affectionate once she warms up to you. All in all, a very fine sit and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.
