Ken's house is incredible! We absolutely loved spending our time with Clara and Clyde, we found them very easy to walk and Clyde came into our bedroom for some late night cuddles when there was a thunderstorm. The house is very close to a number of parks along with all the shops and cafes you need! Highly recommend!!
What a pleasure taking care of these two! Sweet and easygoing, Nala and Scamp both warmed up to me immediately and took turns snuggling on my lap in the evening. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable and in a wonderful neighborhood for taking walks. The location is convenient to Asheville and surrounding small towns to explore. The owners were very welcoming and hospitable and left detailed info for both pets and the local areas. I highly recommend this sit and look forward to doing it again!
The three lovely cats were a joy to take care of. The automatic feeders make it easier. I enjoyed my evenings reading a book with one of them curled up on my chest. The communication with Xander was excellent. I appreciated the document with all the important information related to the pets and the house. Two minutes away, there is a huge park with a lake. Good for running and biking. Perfect to get a respite from city life. Great sit!
I loved everything about this sit. The pets, the owners, the home and the location - all very ideal. These kitties are just the best company while you work from home, they are so sweet and social, I'm going to miss them so much!! Eddy and Linda are very organized and provided clear details on how to care for the cats and the home:) They were also communicated well during their travels. The house is very clean, comfortable and has lots of natural light which I enjoyed. The location is so perfect in my opinion. Easy to access Mission Bay and the 5 freeway but tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood! I'd sit here again if ever invited back and I highly recommend it to any other sitter who is lucky enough to be considering it. Enjoy!
Had a lovely time at Larissa and Andrews beautiful home with the adorable Penny Lane! Larissa was super friendly and easy to communicate with pre and during the stay, their home is stunning and really well located to all you could need. Penny was so friendly and sweet, my little shadow for the sit, lots of pats and purrs! Would highly recommend anyone lucky enough to hang out with Penny! Thanks again guys xx
I just finished a two week stay and had a wonderful time. Alison and Ron were very welcoming to their home. I arrived a day early and we met to go over the requirements of the sit. I was greeted with a hug and gratitude for watching over their home and fur babies. I had access to park my vehicle in the garage which was very convenient. The room I had was comfortable and had plenty of drawer and closet space for my stuff. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location of the house was perfect. Pebbles and I took daily 4-5 mile walks on trails by just walking out the front door. I loved seeing the deer every time we walked, the surroundings are beautiful. Pebbles was very easy to manage, she lets you know what she needs and when she needs it. She is just the sweetest and enjoys her walks. The cats are mischievous and rambunctious. You cannot leave anything on the kitchen counters you don't want consumed or chewed. This was all a part of the advisement in the beginning when I arrived but we still had a couple incidents with Sir G running off with food he swiped from the kitchen counter within 5 seconds of turning our backs. He's a stealthy ninja cat! But like any sits I had them figured out within a couple of days and with my own personal diligence was able to stop any thievery. Both cats love to play and are entertaining to watch. I love Bellingham and would definitely come back to the area for a house sit.
