I know I shouldn’t have favourites but this has been my favourite sit to date. Jill is such a lovely soul and it was a delight to get to know prior to the sit. Her home is a fabulously quirky apartment overlooking LA and it has such a wonderful energy and tonnes of light. There is a hammock downstairs to enjoy, and her home is a great space to be creative it, or just relax with a good book. The kitchen is very basic, but there is everything there to easily cook a good meal. I particularly enjoyed the bathtub and the huge shower, and it was fun having Willow on the edge of the bath tub whilst I was bathing. The kitties were so adorable, Willow was very snuggly and slept cuddled up to me most of the night and was very playful, and Hunny was a sweetheart and loved a good lap to sit on a good stroke and I also managed to get her playing, which was lovely to see. They were both really easy to look after and I felt like I really bonded with them, it was so hard to leave them. Communication through the whole sit was excellent and it was lovely sharing photos and messages with each other. I would fit for Jill again in a heartbeat and I would highly recommend this sit to anyone who loves kitties and wants a place to completely chill in.
We had a wonderful time caring for sweet Ben for a weekend in his lovely home by the beach! Ben is a gentle, well behaved, and adoring companion, and we enjoyed many beautiful walks together along the beach and through Uplands Park. We also loved taking in the quiet charm of nearby Estevan Village area. We highly recommend caring for adorable Ben if you get the change, and Steven and Suzanne were such kind and easy to connect with people!
I really enjoyed my time with Lily. She is a wonderful dog and immediately warmed up to me and wanted to play. Lily is easy to care for: short breaks after and before bedtime, straightforward feeding routine, purposeful walks around the neighborhood (you WILL get compliments) and lots of cuddles on the couch. Lily loves company and will take interest in what you are up to in the kitchen nook (*she is not allowed to have human food). Liza is an excellent host with a detailed house guide and is easily reachable via text. Great communication. The neighborhood is very convenient: it is 10 min walk from Back Bay and 20 min from Prudential and Boston Common. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby; I checked out a couple of places Liza recommended: Greystone has nice sandwiches and Picco's pizza is a real treat. The neighborhood has classic architecture and young vibes; perfect for someone who wants a Boston city experience of a trendy, central neighborhood. Highly recommended and will apply again!
We very much enjoyed our weekend taking care of Wrigley and Fenway, two very friendly and well behaved retrievers. The house is located in a nice residential area with a big mall and lots of restaurants close by. Chris and Lacey left very good instructions for the care of the dogs and how things in their house worked - the kitchen is beautiful and the backyard with a pool is a lovely hangout with the dogs.
What a wonderful experience was our first sit! Sue appeared to be an open en warm personality. Communication was easy and swift. Arriving at Sue's place we felt instantly at home. Sue, Skye and Lottie were very welcoming. The house is a cosy bungalow with a beautiful garden and even a vegetable plot. Gardeners as we are, we enjoyed that. Walking the dogs was a pleasure. Both dogs are very sweet and well behaved. Only Lottie, Jack Russel as she is, went every now and then on bunny hunt, so we had to wait a while on her. The surroundings right from your doorstep are very pretty and rural. Walking opportunities are plentiful. And if you like geocaching, you won't be disappointed. Nearby Cambridge and also other towns and estates offer nice little trips. Skye and Lottie don't mind to be left in their room for some hours while we were away. Leaving after ten days made us a bit sad. We will cherish this lovely experience. Thank you, Sue.
Wonderful location, not far from airport. Precious, sweet pets-- Zeya and Gloria. Miss them already. Lots of interesting and gorgeous things to see and do. Delightful neighborhood area to walk dogs in with pretty ocean views. Owner has a lovely, very clean, healthy home, with a nice yard in a neatly landscaped, friendly neighborhood and surrounding area. Truly a joy to do a house/ pet sit for in her location. Stars are fantastic every night. (Always forget what we can't see anymore from most of the mainland.) Air, flowers, trees, birds, breezes and the sea are all divine. Most diverse island with numerous vegetation zones. You won't want to leave this paradise! Susan is a very thoughtful, kind, organized, professional person who gives specific, clear instructions plus written ones for her beloved pets' very healthy diet. Plus phone numbers of close friends in case of any emergency. Happy dogs! Happy stay! All good!
