I am writing this review of my petsitting experience at Anita's home in Munich for her cat named Found still with a smiling face. Even though everything happened kind of last minute, I was amazed at how wonderfully welcoming, relaxed, trusting and prepared Anita was as a pet owner. As soon as we started talking on the phone before the sit I felt this, and I was even more amazed that I was sent a manual several days before I arrived, which explained the details on the home and on Found's daily care. That is why I could travel without a worrying heart as I already could study what things were to be expected of me (which were really not a lot and they were super easy to do as well :D) I was actually able to arrive a day early, so that Anita and I had the chance to have fun conversations, plus I got all the answers to questions that I had. Her home is well located, neat and clean and everything necessary was laid out already or easy to find. Before Anita left, I was shown by her the daily proceedings with the food vending machine and where everything else was located that I might still need for Found or for myself. Found herself is such a charming lady with such nice and soft fur that I could hardly resist petting whenever she was near me. She is a big cuddler and liked to follow me around in the home. I believe she enjoyed the attention and also very much the food that I gave her. I would definitely petsit again for Anita and take care of Found, my stay in Munich was very much enjoyable because of them.
I enjoyed my short stay at Catriona,s looking after Rory , an indoor kitten who was quite lively but easy to care for. He responded to being stroked and pampered, even settling on my lap the last day.Accomodation in the adjoining annexe was very clean, cosy and warm and I really appreciated the provisions left as there were no shops nearby. The nearby towns of Wendover and Princes Risborough were well worth visiting and views over the Chilterns were stunning. I can recommend this house sit with clear instructions and communications throughout. Thank you Catriona for making me so welcome.
We had a lovely first sit in Sarah and Kevin’s extremely comfortable and well maintained house in Bath. They were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and gave us a guided tour of the house showing us how appliances worked etc. Cocoa their seven month old kitten was just a delight to look after with her feeding regime being easy to follow. She was very sweet, had bags of energy and enjoyed playing with her toys. The house was situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of the centre of town. The garden was well tended and a great place to sit and read on a nice day. There was a Tesco Express and a frequent bus route into town within a short walk. Slightly further away a Lidl/M&S etc provided other options for groceries. We would love to be invited back in the future to continue exploring Bath and to see a grown up Cocoa. We would highly recommend this sit.
A truly great sit. Maria and Doms home is really beautiful with everything in immaculate and modern condition. The grounds and area make for easy walking from the door. Every amenity is available in the house with no need for anything additional. Maria’s welcome and show around enabled us to feel totally confident from the off and we did not encounter any problems in any area. Both dogs are a joy with low maintenance and only an evening sofa cuddle required. The dogs have their own in/out door flap which is a great help and enables them to use the garden when they require. The surrounding area offers lots of places to visit with plenty of pubs and restaurants if required. We have no hesitation in recommending this sit and hope we are able to return in the near future.
Mia and Max are the cutest dogs ever. We knew pugs were fun, but we didn't expect them to be this cute and funny. The gated community is very beautiful and unique place—a wonderful experience.
Our stay at Christine & Jons, with their wonderful Doberman, Lennon (or Lennie, as we affectionately called her), was an absolute joy in every possible way. From the moment we stepped through their door, we were enveloped in a genuine warmth and hospitality that's hard to put into words. Christine and Jon are nothing short of exceptional hosts. They made us feel like cherished friends from the get-go. Their home, besides being well-equipped, is both cozy and spacious, ensuring we felt right at home. And the icing on the cake? They graciously shared their own homegrown tomatoes and honey, adding a delightful touch to our mornings. The welcome guide they provided was not just informative but a testament to their thoughtfulness, making our stay completely hassle-free. Their neighbor, a friendly soul, was always just a stone's throw away, ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Now, let's talk about Lennon, the star of the show. Lennon isn't just friendly; she's a loving, playful bundle of joy. Her enthusiasm for life knows no bounds. Lennon's love for car rides, wind in her face, and leisurely strolls in the park, as well as her incredible frisbee-catching skills, added an extra layer of fun to our visit. This was a heartwarming experience we'll forever cherish and easily one of our top sits ever. We would LOVE to come back at some point.
