Cat Sitters in Byfield

Jamie, Eve and their three daughters were the perfect house and pet sitters. Friendly, great communication - I feel incredibly lucky and priveleged to have met them. I have 2 dogs, a cat, 7 chickens, a large garden with many plants and a fish pond. When I came home, the house and garden looked incredible. Everything was super clean, the garden (which takes about an hour a day to water) was thriving in spite of some hot days while I was gone. I admit I'm a little paranoid about leaving Daisy with strangers. Although pretty active, she's 15 and has had spinal surgery. For Ursula, Polly and Amelie it was mutual love of the dogs - they had truly bonded. Both dogs are used to sleeping in the bed with me, but everyone made sure they were comfortable overnight and they happily slept in the bed with one of the girls. When I got home, I think the dogs were a little disappointed to see me! My ony concern is that they've set the bar so high. It will be difficult to find a family who will look after everything so well. I know this is their second trip to Canada. I hope that should they decide to come back, they will get in touch with me. I will arrange to go away just to have them come back to look after things here. I've had housesitters from at least 30 times over the past 12 years. Jamie, Eve and family are the best sitters I've ever had. I would for sure recommend them to anyone with pets of any kind and I'm happy for Jamie and Evie to give future potential sits my contact information if they have any questions.

Kathy and Mark have been to me twice now and I think of them as friends not just house sitters. A lovely family with son Alexander, very caring of my older dog and keep my young Labrador in his place as he does try to take advantage. Mark has chopped wood for me to replenish my stack and they will do anything asked. Keep me updated with pictures and messages and overall excellent. Bedding and towels were washed and beds remade, house was clean and tidy and they even made me a dahl and home made cookies on my return. Wonderful sitters

Emma and Jan are lovely: friendly and kind. My cat Sophie took to them instantly and i completely trusted them with her. Emma and Jan are very calm and organised and keen to make sure everything was done as I’d like whilst they were staying. They kept me updated whilst I was away and i returned to a very clean and tidy home, and a happy cat. I’d recommend them without hesitation.

Dorothy and David were great housitters. Communication was good and we felt completely relaxed about leaving our house and pets in their care and we returned to a clean house, happy pets and a lovely meal cooking. We couldn't ask for more and highly recommended Dorothy and David. .

Katja, flo and Nelly were absolutely fantastic. Katja keeper us in the loop on our little fur and feathered family. Respectful and very clean. Animals were super happy. I think amber and negan were disappointed when we came home and it wasn't Katja and her family 🤣

Loved having Emma & Chris sit for us, they were great at communicating, sent regular updates and we felt at ease with them in our house looking after our animals. They gave useful feedback and left the house tidy.

Gerald and Mary were a delightful, open, and cheerful couple. On initial handover for our sit, they greeted our 6m old puppy in lovely calm and friendly manner, and asked first and foremost about his habits, likes and dislikes -that was a real priority for us. They were utterly competent and caring too in managing the house, and we returned to a warm welcome, a very happy puppy, and a truly sparkling home! We are so grateful, and honestly could not have wished for better pet and house sitters. We can highly recommend Gerald and Mary.

Lauren and Becky looked after our cockapoo, Star, for a week while we were away skiing. From the moment we met them, we could tell they were true animal lovers who would provide excellent care for Star. Throughout the week, Lauren and Becky sent us daily picture updates showing Star happily playing and cuddling up for naps. It was very comforting to see and know she was doing well. Midway through the sit, our broadband went down. Lauren and Becky were very understanding about the inconvenience and very proactive in getting the issue resolved. When we returned from our trip, we came home to a clean house and a happy, healthy dog. Star was VERY excited to see us, but we could tell she had bonded with Lauren and Becky in our absence. It was clear they had gone above and beyond to make Star feel comfortable, loved, and entertained while we were gone. We wholeheartedly recommend Lauren and Becky. Their excellent communication, responsiveness, and reliable care gave us great peace of mind during our trip.

Rory and his family were wonderful! From their communication, to the care of our dogs, to the cleanliness of the house upon our return, we couldn't have asked for better sitters!! Would definitely work with them again in the future!!

Lily was a fantastic house and pet sitter. She looked after our two cats and small dog while we were away, keeping us updated and checking in as needed. One of our cats as a skin issue that flared up just before we left, and we especially appreciated that she looked after this and kept us updated. Lily was easy to communicate with, and left our place very clean and tidy. We would definitely host her again and recommend her to others!

Really great house sitters, the house was super tidy and clean when we came back. They had left it exactly how we handed the house over to them, really was fantastic! They are very reliable and gave us updates of both pets. Simba loved his walks and attention. Would highly reccomend them to anyone! Hopefully will have them again!

Tammy did a long weekend for me. She was a great communicator and also very kind. Went out of her way to be helpful. Would use again. She was great with our dog and elderly cat especially.
