Cami takes a little while to warm up but is so sweet once she does. Loves to cuddle at night. I had such a wonderful stay!
Gail is absolutely wonderful. Her cats are very shy, so it took a few days for them to warm up to us, but they are very sweet. Her house is in the perfect place. It is walking distance from the grocery store, the bus, town, hiking, swimming. It is absolutely idyllic. We were very grateful to make this wonderful connection.
Justin and Ali were awesome! They needed a last minute sit for almost three weeks and were gracious to trust me with their home despite not having any reviews on THS as I had just signed up a few days prior. Communication was swift and easy and we set up a time for me to drive to LA and see the house and meet them right before they left. Originally I was going to be watching their pup Gidget, but they decided just to have me watch the house and take care of some plants and manage mail and security since it was a long trip. I got to meet Gidget luckily, who is such a cool dog with a great story. Can’t wait to hopefully hang with her in the future! The house is awesome, three blocks from Venice beach with secure, private entry, and close to a ton of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Super cool original Venice home with a ton of character and vibe. I enjoyed just sitting in the front room enjoying the ocean air. Great backyard with actual grass, a great place to be outside and feel like it’s your own little oasis in the middle of LA. Loved working with Justin and Ali and hope to sit for them soon. Thanks guys!
Otto and Tara are very sweet and loving pets. They are affectionate and cuddly. They both love their treats. When we opened the door for the neighbor kids to get their footballs from the garden the dogs did lunge at him. On our daily walks they would be very excited and pull on the leash pretty hard. On these walks they would also bark and growl at other dogs on the street. They would lunge at bikes going by, at the elderly on scooters, and children. We had to be very vigilant and go at times with less people, usually late in the evening or 1pm after the lunch hour. We did take them on multiple country walks, they have to be on leash at all times because they will lunge at the sheep. When we were at home they were our little buddies, they would hang out with us in the garden, and slept on their dogs in our room. Tarra loves to play tug of war and fetch with her toys, while Otto cuddles up on the couch with you. The house was clean, and had all of the amenities. Josh and Heidi are very sweet and great with communication.

You are very kind and we are so glad that you chose us to take care of this sit. You are a wonderful couple and we were glad to have spent some one on one time with you after the sit. Pickle is such a sweet and energetic boy. Still very much full of puppy enthusiasm, happy running full speed after a ball or sleeping curled up on the couch. Sasha and Ouriel were very easy to communicate with and we felt very welcomed. The apartment is spacious and open with room for Pickle to run and play while we were busy. The common garden in the complex was also great for Pickle to play with his friend, Cleo. Close to Westpark, supermarkets and everything else you could want (including amazing fries!) it was a very convenient place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to housesit again.
