Heather agreed to come a day before we went away in order that we could explain and demonstrate the somewhat complicated health regime of our two elderly Siamese boys. She arrived exactly when expected and we immediately took to her. She was an instant hit with the cats and we could tell that our boys were going to be in good hands. Despite us leaving an abundance of food for her, she was happier using her own, (she came in a campervan) as she is vegan. Whilst we were away, Heather gave us regular videos and updates and it was during one of these updates that we learned that the cats were off their food. A telephone call helped us to come to a solution to the problem and within a day both boys were back to eating again. We came home to find the cats very happy and content and in fact they were fast asleep on Heather's lap when we arrived. The house was very clean and it was obvious that every care had been taken both of the house and the cats. Heather is a lovely, independent lady and I would not hesitate to recommend her in the highest way possible for house and cat sitting.
I knew from the minute I spoke to Laura and Andy that they would be perfect for our girlies. They were in touch with us before the visit and as and when we wanted updates. They left our house very clean and tidy and entertained our dogs throughout especially with bubbles. We would recommend this couple to anyone.
Michelle and Beau were incredible house sitters & dog sitters. This was our first time confirming sitters on the site, so of course I was a little nervous; but WOW, after this experience with Michelle and Beau, we are ready to travel more often!! Michelle and Beau took care of our dogs like they were their own, and left the house in better condition than when we left (my husband walked into the house when we returned and said "this place looked untouched!"), they also read through and followed all of my notes about the dogs and the house. It was such a relief knowing that my babies were in good hands with great people. We were in regular communication if there were any questions, and we received tons of photos and videos of happy dogs which made me so happy. When we arrived home, both dogs were looking at the door waiting for Michelle and Beau to come in the house next -- they missed them already! I am so happy that Michelle and Beau were our first zeewoi experience and I hope to have them stay over again soon.
I really enjoyed my stay in Ceri's beautiful house. She welcomed me so warmly and lovingly. The house is spacious, cozy and modern. And the very best of all is Maya. She is lively, funny, playful and cuddly. Joie de vivre on four paws! I miss her and would come back in a heartbeat.
