Sharon and Jeff were great sitters. In our video call to meet with Sharon, she was thoughtful and considerate of how best to make Mycroft comfortable when we were away. While we don't request photos of his time, she sent fun adventure photos. Mycroft often doesn't eat as much when we aren't all together (even when just one of us is home), and Sharon checked in to see how she could coax him to eat. We would love to have them back. Mycroft was happy and healthy upon our return, and the apartment was neat.
Carolyn was easy and pleasant to work with in ensuring her sweet rescued cat received the specialized care she needs. Her place is comfortable and clean, and I would gladly sit again for her.
Laurie and Jim are beyond lovely - very helpful, clear, hospitable, and caring. Their home is beautiful, inviting and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat! The absolute cherry on top is Shadow Docket - probably one of the most fun cats to sit ever. She plays fetch and is the sweetest and most affectionate little sweet pea ever. I would 💯% jump on the chance to house/pet sit for them anytime :)
A lovely housesit, with young dog Thibaud in beautiful Hampton! I have housesat here for two short periods, close to each other, hence the one review for both short sits: Thibaud is quite a character; very smart and curious, and very adorable. He wants to play and cuddle a lot, so hurrah for the garden! On walks, I did not have him off the lead, but the long lead was very helpful as such. NB: he is quite strong! There are some good parks close to the house, and two small fields very close by, all easy to find. Richard’s house was very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and good bathroom; the internet was super fast. I have stayed in the guest bedroom, which was comfortable and quiet. The supermarket, station and buses are right around the corner, but I haven’t been away much because Thibaud has not yet been trained to be on his own for long. Richard is hospitable and sympathetic. We have communicated via WhatsApp and he was quick to respond. The instructions and tour of the house were clear and easy to follow. A good housesit, recommendable!
I could not have asked for a better first house/pet sit than the one I experienced with Tonya and Brett. Inka is just THE most beautiful dog with a cheeky little personality. Coffee and Pearl were great evening company and even accompanied Inka and I on some of our walks. Tonya and Brett’s house is absolutely stunning, backing onto beautiful Sawtell beach. They have done an amazing job on renovations and styling - like being in a luxury villa in Bali! Thanks so much for the opportunity!
Rose and Tom were so welcoming and their wee dog was such a delight to look after.
