This is a sit to cherish. Susan and Zack gave me a warm welcome and and a detailed intro to their beautiful home, the condo building, and how to navigate my way around. Their guide is complete and a wonderful resource. The condo is gorgeous and you will feel so comfortable there. Its decorated beautifully--really a dream come true! Grocery store and Drugstore almost across the street is very convenient. My favorite spot was out on the wrap around terrace with the pups who also loved it there. You can watch the ocean change colors with the light since you are right on the beach. There is every amenity you can imagine and you will want for nothing. But the real stars here are Beau and Lilly. Two little fluffy balls of pure wiggly joy! They are so easy to be with. Beautifully trained. they wanted to be near me and we had fun playing together.They are trained for pee pads and do well with those inside. But oh my, if you say "want to go for walk" they run in unison for the door. They were super easy on leash for me and the condo has a large on leash pet walking area that works really well for these little bitty babies. I felt safer since they are so small in staying away from other dogs. They both slept in crates in my room at night. They hop right in, and never made a sound all night! Most mornings I was up first. Super easy babies. You will be fighting me for any listings, but if you are fortunate enough to be chosen you will love every minute. I'd give ten thumbs up if I could! Pure JOY!
I had the best 7 weeks in Caleta, looking after Ruth and Stuart's home and three pets Cheetah, Lily and Oli. Their lovely home is close to the beach and amenities with beautiful walks and places to discover nearby. I spoke with them before we agreed the sit and immediately liked them both. They're good humoured, interesting and very kind. For the house sit they even went through the trouble of putting me on their car insurance so I could use it for convenience. We kept in regular contact throughout and everything was very easy and straightforward. But even with all that said, the real pleasure was looking after Cheetah, Lily and Oli. Cheetah is the old man of the house and likes to divide his time between sleeping, eating and receiving love, and he'll let you know which one he wants. Lily takes a little longer to warm up, taking a day or two to get used to you, but then she'll join you on the roof terrace, or on your lap to watch a football game, and basically try to make you love her the most. And then there's Oli - if you like affectionate dogs, he's the guy for you. After the evening walk, the only thing he wants in life is to climb onto your lap and cuddle in. After seven weeks, it feels strange to be sitting at home and not having a dog looking up at me ha! All in all, I highly recommend sitting here if you have the chance. Great place. Great animals. Great people.
We loved our stay at Lisa’s! Lisa was really easy to communicate with and left us with a printout of the welcome guide for us to refer back to, which was very helpful. The cats, Simon and Trixie, were low-maintenance, relatively self-sufficient & loved treats so it was easy to motivate them. Lisa’s place is easy to get to from the airport / King Street (Amtrak) station. The house is about a 10-min walk from the light rail station (right by an awesome Vietnamese cafe!) which was really handy and we used to get around. If we are in Seattle, we’d definitely love sit again for Lisa!
Myra and Steve are lovely people with lovely animals. The communication was easy and clear. You will get well prepared for your stay and you will find everything that you need to have a wonderful time. The house is very clean, tidy and has a nice garden with a shaded seating area and an own pool to enjoy on warm days. Also you will have an organized day with enough time for yourself. The Swan River is really close by where you can have great walks. We enjoyed every second of our stay so we can highly recommend it to all sitters!
Rabbit- sitting for Charlie and Rosie was an absolute joy! They are very sweet and a lot of fun. Fantastic apartment with an absolutely stunning, view, too. Lorna was very communicative and made the whole experience convenient and low-stress.
I enjoyed my sitting in Hilperton which is just a short distance from Trowbridge, this is an area that I had wanted to visit for a while as it has good sightseeing opportunities, countryside and easy access to Bath. This was Camilla and Tom’s first experience of THS and it was important to make them feel at ease with how things worked, following our initial videochat I arranged a pre-sitting visit and we discussed the handover at that point and they showed me where everything was etc. Tom wrote up the comprehensive welcome guide. On the day itself, I arrived during the evening and they had kindly cooked dinner and we were able to get to know each other for an hour or 2. They left during the early hours to head up to Scotland leaving me in charge of Blue, despite her name she is a petite black and white 3 year old and full of life, she is very communicative when she wants something and Camilla had translated the various meows previously. Being a house cat she needs playtime and is most active in the mornings and again around 8pm, she does like to sit on the warm window sill and relax watching things go by. Blue is a very easygoing and low maintenance cat to look after. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay and is in a quiet location with good driveway parking. There is a local Tesco Extra about 2 miles away which is easy to get to and has everything you need in terms of groceries and petrol. A local garden centre with café offers a very good full English breakfast providing you get there by 11.45 and that’s where I headed on day 1 whilst I found my bearings and made my plans for the week. All in all, a very pleasant sitting and I would happily return again. Thanks Camilla and Tom for your hospitality and use of your home, I hope you get to start your own sittings soon! Martin

While away on holidays, Rufus received the VIP Vetsit experience as aside from the endless cuddles, I was able to avail of regular hair brushing, tooth brushing and a dog bath which left him looking and feeling his best during and after his stay! The staff have been nothing short of amazing, always giving me peace of mind with daily pictures of him and his friends on their Instagram, daily updates on their website and a direct contact number for any queries I might have at any time. Wally absolutely adored his recent weeks holiday to VetSit, and from seeing all of the photos and updates it is no surprise why! He spent his days making lots of new pals, running around in the fields and charming lots of cuddles with all of the staff. We were anxious leaving him given how spoilt he is at home, but the regular photos on Instagram and on our VetSit account reassured us he had instantly been made one of the family. We came home to a happy, healthy Wally who will absolutely be back after the above and beyond care and fun he had at VetSit.
For the last couple of years our two dogs Lottie and Mia have gone weekly to Vetsit for doggy daycare and have also stayed overnight on a number of occasions. The team are so kind and caring. Mia is an older dog and Lottie is very small and can be nervous at times around other dogs, and the team cater to their needs and look after them so well, going above and beyond. They also get their grooming done at Vetsit during daycare every couple of months, and we regularly get compliments on how well groomed they are afterwards. I can’t recommend Vetsit enough!
Our two dogs stayed last weekend for their first overnight. We were really happy. The dogs were happy. Then staff are all very authentic and passionate about dogs. Lovely videos of our two dogs having fun in the field and we could see the nice warm sofas the dogs sleep on. The team take an individual approach to each dog. We are booked for a week now and I feel a lot of peace of mind in letting Katie Amy and the VetSit team mind our dogs.
My 2 pups have been visiting Vetsit for over two years now. The staff are excellent and always take such great care of them both. One of my dogs is very nervous and anxious, but LOVES her visits! My other is older and has had a few health issues. She is always well cared for. I could not recommend them enough.

Teidi and Daisy got on brilliantly at VetSit! We are so pleased that we have somewhere safe that can take care of both of our dogs. Our eldest, Teidi, has never been in a boarding environment before and usually gets minded by friends and family...which is much harder to arrange now that we have Daisy. VetSit was like a home from home. The dogs were well exercised and calm when they came home. The staff member who greeted us was so warm and reassuring. We are thrilled that we have found VetSit.
Lilly Pug has been going to VetSit regularly for daycare and boarding since she was old enough to do so, and she absolutely loves it! Lilly is very much a Mama's girl and VetSit is one of the few places she'll actively go into without a backward glance to check that I'm there too. She always comes home happy and tired out from having so much fun! VetSit's facilities are second to none with acres of fields for the dogs to run around and play, comfortable sleeping areas and a team of people who obviously love what they do and love the animals in their care. Simply put, they're the best in the business!
It was Molly’s first time at VetSit and she loved it! All the staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they really take a very good care of all dogs. Our 2 dogs absolutely loved their recent stay at vetsit. The team are so lovely and looked after the dogs so well. We were able to see the dogs each day on the Instagram updates and they always looked like they were loving the freedom of running around in the fields. Linda and Russell are two in a billion. Our dog Buddy is blind and we simply would not leave him with anyone other than Woofs. He runs in the door to them every time, tail wagging! You will not find a more genuine, courteous, friendly and professional pair, who put the dogs first at all times. As they don’t do drop ins, the small number of dogs they take are all very comfortable together which makes for a wonderful, relaxed, home environment, particularly important for Buddy. We are incredibly lucky to have found them and couldn’t recommend them more.
Linda and Russell run an amazing business. They are incredibly attentive and welcomed Frank with open arms! I was very hesitant sending Frank off to doggie daycare initially, but from day 1 it was clear he felt right at home! Would highly recommend this service.

Linda and Russel are the most amazing couple who clearly love dogs. Bowie adores going to hang out with them and races in every morning! She comes home happy and tired from her day of playing and exploring the mountains. We have been going to Woof doggy daycare for three years and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
I cannot recommend Woof Doggie Day Care enough. My puppy was only 4 months old when he first went, and loved it from day one. As soon as I pulled up outside he’d bound towards the door tail wagging, and picking him up he’d be happy and tired. It was so nice to know I didn’t have to worry about him while I was at work. Linda and Russell are kind, caring and it’s clear they love every dog as their own, I’m moving abroad and only wish I could bring them with me! They are honestly the best in the business and I highly recommend them for minding your fur baby! I know Percy will miss them heaps.
Linda and Russell at Woof Doggie Day Care have been looking after my dog, Lily, for well over a year now. From the start, they always treated Lily like their own while she was with them; they cared for her so well, always providing regular updates to me on her activities and general well being. Lily has loved attending Woof and always so excited every morning we arrive for day care - she would literally drag me to the door, so eager to get in! Bailey has been going to them every week for the last 4 years, and she bounds in there with pure excitement every morning and it's so clear that they love the dogs they look after. Our dog loved Emma and her team! We were set up with weekly walks for our pup and we were thrilled with how much fun she had, and how tired she came home. Emma is super organized, very responsive and took such good care of our dog. Emma and her team at Pawfit have been taking my dog for walks for the past three years and I couldn't recommend them more highly. They treat Bella with such kindness, pairing her walks with dogs that they know she will have great fun with, and taking such good care of her. Pawfit have been so helpful, and Emma goes out of her way to accommodate us. Bella is always so happy to see them, which is the highest praise.
Emma made dog coaching easy for me to understand so that I was not accidently reinforcing unwanted behaviors but without being "mean". rewarding good stuff is the way to go. Lots of treats and games do learning is fun... Bess is always exhausted after but is always delighted to spot Emma coming across the park....
Emma looked after my dog and 2 cats recently and she was fantastic. She was very friendly and a natural with the animals. She kept me updated constantly and I immediately felt like I could focus on my work trip and not need to check in on how things are. I always know if my dog has been happy or not when I return as he is emotionally delicate, being a rescue, but he clearly was very happy and I came back to a relaxed dog. Emma even sent me follow up information with tips for dog training as my dog def could be a bit better on recall. The house was super clean when I came home and I would absolutely invite Emma back and hope the dates will work in the future.
Highly recommend Pawfit for dog walking. Emma and her team are professional, careful and love dogs! Emma has walked our high energy working cocker spaniel for over 2 years and we’ve been very happy with the service. Emma is reliable, professional, insured and responsible. We particularly like that Pawfit don’t walk lots of dogs at once and only walk dogs in small groups or individually. We feel that this is much safer. Emma is lovely and is responsive to communication. It’s a big thing to trust your dog to someone else’s care and we would have no hesitation in recommending Emma and Pawfit.
When we lived in Seaport, Emma and her team were beloved by our four-year-old golden retriever. Daisy had a great relationship with all of them and would return home from her weekly walks happy, tired and sometimes a little sandy from the beach. No matter, Emma would hose her off and clean her up if she needed it. We have since moved back to the states, but when we get around to hiring a dogwalker here, Pawfit will be the standard by which they will be measured.
I cannot recommend Emma enough! Her expertise, patience, and dedication as a dog trainer is incredible. She worked with my bichon frise to address destructiveness at home, and the results have been wonderful. Emma not only helped my dog become more relaxed and fulfilled but also taught me valuable skills to be able to train him in other areas we’ve been meaning to work on for better overall behaviour. She has an enthusiastic and positive approach that made myself and my dog feel comfortable from day one. If you're looking for a professional and compassionate dog trainer, Emma is the best choice!
I could not recommend Emma & Pawfit highly enough! The level of professionalism and the undeniable love for dogs that the team has is reflected in the level of love my pup has developed for them since the very first time they came in to our lives! Having a large breed dog can come with its challenges but Emma and the team took the time to chat about my dog, his characteristics, nature, likes and dislikes before meeting him and ensuring that he was comfortable before taking him on what have been some of the best walkies he’s ever enjoyed (based on his incredibly excited reactions to seeing the team show up to take him out again and the pics and vids sent to me of their adventures while I was unable to walk him). His dogs walks were tailored to his temperment, energy levels and personal preferences (ie loves a good splash in water) and I was even given some tips on training based my own questions and areas that I wanted to work on. My dog LOVES the Pawfit team and I dont think that anything could speak to their talent and professionalism more than that.
Our dog Charlie has been availing of Pawfit's services in the Blackrock/South Dublin area for a couple of years now and we cannot recommend them highly enough! Emma and the gang are always reliable when it comes to Charlie's walks, training, minding and any other expertise we might need! They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced on all things dog related, very caring and completely trustworthy. As dog owners, we can't recommend Pawfit highly enough; but the real proof is the full-body wags from Charlie whenever he sees Emma at the door!
During the holidays, when it was very difficult to secure boarding for my cat, I had the good fortune to find Pup 'N' Pet Services in Blackrock. Samira-Lola Trimble was warm, kind, courteous as we made all the arrangements for 10 days of boarding. I was impressed by the professional approach to all documents to ensure a safe, agreeable arrangement. Throughout my time away, Pup 'N' Pet Services remained in contact to inform me of my cat's well-being, how she was thriving during the boarding experience. Truly, I appreciated those messages and videos. At the end of her stay, my cat was happy, healthy; she had clearly received very fine care. If you are seeking a warm, home environment for your pet while you are away, Pup 'N' Pet Services takes superb care of your beloved fur friend. I shall definitely call them again when I next need to travel.
Such a great service! We booked our puppy in with Pup n Pet for two days and an overnight in December. It was our puppy’s first night away from us and we weren’t sure how he would react. We needn’t have worried! From the moment he was collected, Samira and Cormac put him at ease. We got updates and pics over the course of his stay and he was as happy and calm arriving home as he had been heading off. Pup n Pet were so easy to deal and reliable with collection/drop off times. Thank you guys, we will defo be using your services again!
Used their Cat Sitting Service (in home). Appreciate their service during Christmas. They sent photos and videos everyday while I was away.

Another great stay for Noodle! Leaving Noodle at Beeches Brook makes it easy for me to have a relaxing time on my human vacation, knowing that he will be having a best time on his dog vacation. As always, he was in excellent condition when I picked him up - he was obviously in very caring hands. Patricia and Philip are always so kind; it's clear they really love dogs and take a lot of factors into account in looking after them.
I collected Persi and Bunti this morning after a week with Patricia and Philip and Co. They were in great form and looked as if they had been well cared for. I was especially pleased to note that their eyes were lovely and clean (poodles tend to have gucky eye discharge which needs regular removal). This was their first holiday in Beeches Brook but it certainly won’t be their last. Thank you all for looking after my precious pooches.
Our dog Mick loves his holidays here and always comes back tired and happy from them. No distress or acting out and if he had his way would stay as long as he could. Owners are excellent to deal with and payment is very convenient and reasonable too.

Left my 2 dogs here for a week and cant fault the care and attention they received, Patricia and her team really care and I could tell that the dogs were very happy during their stay, I would have no hesitation in reccomending Beeches Brook kennels to anyone.
Highly recommend Beeches Brookes boarding kennels. Our small mixed breed dog Coco goes in happy tail wagging every single time. She was just there on her holidays for just over two weeks and bounded in. We are so lucky we found Beeches Brookes for our Coco, we have great peace of mind when we drop her in that she is being well taken care of
We have a 10yr old Labrador who has been staying in Beeches Brook since he has been a puppy. So thats 10 years with about 3 or 4 stays a year with a yearly 2 week stay during the summer. Patricia and her family look after the animals like they are their own pets, our Lab is a quiet sensitive dog and he never shows any upset going into the kennels and when we collect him he is always in really good condition. We spent a lot of time researching kennels and getting personal feedback so have no hesitation in recommending Beeches Brook Kennels.
We’ve left our dog here over last few years. Beeches brook is a professionally run kennels which we have utmost confidence in. When we leave Rocky he’s happy and when we collect him he’s happy. Highly recommend
Three strikes and you’re out, I’ve sent my Lab here on three separate occasions and had vet bills to cover issues from all three occasions. Not prepared to pay for kennel and vet bills, god knows what’s happening between drop off and collection.
Highly recommend Beeches Brook Boarding Kennels to take excellent care of your pet while away. Beautiful grounds and fields for them to run around and the Kennel owners were very friendly and kind to deal with. I was really happy overall in regards the care given and had piece of mind while I was away which is what you really want.Pleased to say mine was in very good condition physically and mentally on collection. Most certainly would like to use their services again.
I went to Rabbit Rooms for bonding services when my rescue rabbits began fighting. As a novice bunny owner I felt very out of my depth and anxious of how to best help my buns. Fiona has been a fantastic resource and support throughout the process. I couldn't speak highly enough of the care, understanding and guidance given. Following her directions I was able to adapt to give Hiccups & Bob the best set up to preserve their bond. Often information available online relates to caring for a single bunny, bonded bunnies might require a somewhat different approach. I went from feeling like I would have to re-home one of my boys, to seeing them the happiest they'd ever been. If you can give your rabbits this chance at rebonding please do because you never know what can be achieved with the right support. Hiccups and Bob are now living their best lives thanks to Fiona 🙂
Fiona was wonderful. Amazing with rabbits and helped me through the whole bonding process with my 2 bunnies. I would highly recommend this business for any rabbit needs including bonding rabbits so they can live together happily, and boarding if you are going away, fiona will look after your rabbits as if they were your own!
Rocco, our dwarf rabbit, was back for his hols in the Rabbit Rooms Small Animal Boarding.again last week. Fiona and her lovely family couldn’t have been kinder, giving advice before about what to bring to help Rocco settle, doing a good groom and nail clip for Rocco and sending photos and texts to let us know he was well. It’s a pleasure to do business with The Rabbit Rooms and with Fiona and her family. Rocco will be back in his fave rabbit hotel again in July. And Rocco spent two weeks in the Rabbit Rooms in July/August 2024. He is always relaxed going to Fiona’s and come back in great shape. Very happy with the time and attention she gives him and with her extensive knowledge of all things bunny!
Fiona is amazing at her job! We had a few issues before trying to find a second bunny to bond with our rabbit. After we found a rescue rabbit that we fell in love with we really wanted to take him home but had concerns as we would be attempting to bond two males. Nearly everyone told us this cannot be done and it’s very rare if it is. When we brought our second rabbit home they didn’t really get along, we were so desperate to make it work so we took them to Fiona to get bonded, to our surprise when we went to collect them after their bonding time was up they were cuddling in the one carrier together!! they’re now inseparable and we couldn’t be happier we chose Fiona to do it for us. Seriously changed our lives and certainly Richards (our first rabbit) who was in serious need of company and Lionel who we took in from a rescue who needed a brother to play and cuddle with. I seriously cannot recommend fiona enough! Now instead of separate play times and cages to separate them, they run around together all day and can play and sleep together, it’s heart warming to see them both so happy in each others company.
If you're contemplating sending your bunnies for bonding with Fiona, do not hesitate, because you will not regret it, she is brilliant! She is honestly a Rabbit expert. She bonded our two female buns for us and we couldn't be more grateful. To see them now, the best of friends snuggling, is something I did not think was possible as we had some fights in the past. Fiona works miracles and is not only a rabbit therapist but a human one too because she will reassure you through the whole process! We needed Fionas help because Bonnie was a rescue bun, aggressive and fearful of other rabbits. We thought we made a mistake getting a second rabbit because they would attack each other through the cage. Fiona was able to work her magic and they are now inseparable! Our Bunnies have stayed with Fiona and family for several years now. We'd never cope without her. They are elderly bunnies at this stage and we know when we leave them with Fiona that they are in expert hands. She loves and cares for them as we do. Brownie (11yrs) was a bit 'off' this Summer and Fiona was quick to act. She was great with administering medication and seeking advice from our fantastic vet at Palmerstown Veterinary. It was a tough Summer with the heat at The Rabbit Rooms I'm sure, but Fiona and her fabulous team went to great lengths and kept their visitors cool. Thank you Godmother Fiona! xxx Brownie & Oreo
Toffee our pet rabbit was so well cared for and enjoyed his first stay at The Rabbit Rooms. He was in the company of lots of other rabbits,hamsters and guinea pigs which I wad told appealed to him and he showed great interest in these other furry friends. I am already thinking of prebooking him over the Christmas period. I would highly recommend The Rabbit Rooms for boarding your pet.
I was so delighted with The Rabbit Rooms. I had been nervous to leave my bunny anywhere for two weeks, but Fiona completely put my mind at ease. She sent me regular updates on him including photos of when he’d be spending some (supervised) time out in the garden, and he even got a pamper session while he was there! Will definitely be using The Rabbit Rooms again.
We have used the rabbit rooms a couple of times already and cannot recommend it enough! Fiona is really great with them and they come back very happy and stress free. The online booking system is really handy to see availability and the online portal gives the chance to give any needed information about your pets! The updates are really nice to see how they're getting on when you're away. Thanks Fiona!! :)
Fiona was incredible all the way through with our three bunnies. Chaos and Tiny, both male and Penelope, our female, went in to fiona to be bonded. After just four days of intense work with Fiona, our two males who used to fight regularly are grooming and sleeping beside each other. All three bunnies are loving each other’s company and none of this was possible without Fiona. Great communication all the way though as well as easy, clear instruction for when you pick them up and take them home. Drop off and pick up was as easy as could be. Can’t recommend Fiona’s service enough. 10/10.
We recently left our cat Frodo in with the team at Stepaside and will definitely be using them again. Frodo was so chilled out when he got home I know he had a good week and received the best care. Highly recommend!
Jo and the team at the Stepaside Cattery are fantastic. Our cat Pangur returned home after a couple of weeks relaxed and calm after her time there. The Cattery did our family a huge favour taking Pangur in at short notice after our Nana went into hospital. They are kind people and clearly have a lot of affection for both humans and cats! Would highly recommend this Cattery!
Great experience with this Cattery twice. Jo is fantastic with the cats. Our cat came home relax and comfortable, which helps when you're away on holidays.
Amazing staff who really care about the cats they look after. Jo is brilliant and always sends us lots of videos of our two cats being super well looked after

Bad experience. I wasn’t expected when I collected my cat and was allowed in apparently by accident when the owner wasn’t there. My cat had been moved from the place she had been put at drop-off. At first my cat couldn’t be found at all which was quite alarming. When she was located, it was in a very inferior shed that was cold, dirty, cut off from the main building, stank of cat litter and my cat was in a poor state. It took weeks to get her back to normal. She was very nervous and crying for an extended period. I left several messages for the owner as I was worried about what had happened to my cat and eventually got a text message (but no call-back) that apologized for the condition my cat was kept in but referred to (over personal) family problems as an excuse. Whatever was happening in their personal lives - I got a VERY strong impression that cats are routinely moved from the more acceptable accommodation to the unacceptable accommodation once the owners have left the premises. Although cats generally do not like to be moved and some change in behavior is inevitable after boarding, I have since used other catteries (my local vet for eg) and my cat has returned in a much healthier and more stable state. I do not recommend this Cattery at all.
The only place we use for our cat. It’s so green. The cats can watch wild life through their windows.
