Note-This was a 2 week sit from 31st August-13th Sept. Clara is a fantastic host with a beautiful, cozy, clean home, a lovely garden with fig and lime trees, and a super sweet, high-energy pup Bucky. She was always very responsive, especially when I first got there and needed help finding certain things or had questions. Bucky has been a blast to sit, he is very playful and loving and definitely keeps you energized and exercising. Clara trained him, so he responds to many commands, and once you establish communication and understand him, it becomes fairly simple to sit him. Clara also leaves a detailed care guide, so there is clarity and support in all aspects. Highly recommended!
I absolutely loved these fur babies, this kind family and their beautiful & cozy home with that unique patio view 💖 Savannah is the most loving and sweet baby ever.. she was always next to me or on my lap. She's so smart and funny.. it was hard for me to leave! I already miss her and Suki so much. They are both sweet and well behaved babies 💕 Julie & Todd were also special, very kind and friendly. I'd love to come back 🍀
I had an amazing time at Jim and Luke’s! They’re so kind and accommodating and are amazing hosts, always available to answer any questions. Bailey, Holly, and Casper are just the best. Holly is a bashful and cuddly little girl—Bailey is a little more outgoing and is also a sweetheart! Casper likes his quiet time but always showed up in the evening to hang out with the crew and would sometimes sit with me during the day while I worked. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back, thank you Jim and Luke!
The dynamic duo, Norah and Ranger, were a pleasure to look after. Although a little apprehensive at first, Norah slowly warmed to me in an evening with belly rubs aplenty. A fiercely proud and confident, yet elegantly refined, lady of her day, she is a canine fit for a queen. If feline Olympic gymnastics exists, Ranger would score gold, man does that cat have some aerobic superpowers! No cupboard too lofty nor door handle too complex. This is the ultimate supercat! Michelle was helpful and communicative throughout the process. Thank you Michelle, Norah and Ranger for an enjoyable stay and I hope to return one day!
Rob and Zoe's lovely home is a perfect spot on the edge of Bath. We felt so fortunate to have a chunk of time in Combe Hay (which we actually knew well already) and spend time with their furry companions. Hettie leaps into your arms for a cuddle whilst Clemmie does a dignified paw on your knee (to signal, 'please pop me on your lap'.) We worked remotely, which was really easy and happily punctuated by lots of bracing walks. Hettie is ready by the door come what may. Clemmie preferred the more sun-kissed walks. The route along the river was a favourite with both. Much sniffing and exploration! Many thanks again to Rob and Zoe.
We had a lovely week in Headington. Maddie is a joy. She is very affectionate and friendly but also up for a play whenever you show any inclination. There is a lovely park nearby and old Headington is a nice place to walk. Oxford city is a short bus ride away. The house was very comfortable. Jo and Mika are very friendly, and we felt right at home. We would happily stay again.
