AWESOME!!! PAWSOME!!! My fur baby had a great time! He was very loved and treated like family. HE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Missy made me feel so comfortable with leaving my fur baby with her and her family. My baby was well taken care of. She kept me updated with my baby's status. This is now my baby's second home when I'm away. She took really good care of my baby. Her love for my baby was amazing. Thank you, Missy. I really appreciate everything you did for my baby!! RATE :🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hey dog and puppy parents, This Dogatude LLC is the place for your four legged baby. Its GREAT. My big boy Ceazar stays no where else.
Dog a tude is the perfect place for your Pups! We never have to worry about leaving to go out of town with Dog a tude around! Highly recommended you wouldn’t be disappointed
Very professional and reliable. Excellent dog sitter!
This is a great company to trust your pets with!
MaryMac’s services are both perfession & personal, she takes the time to connect with both the pet and their owner. My dog Snoball have come to love and trust her.
Lestat LOVES Mary Mac's dog daycare! Never seen him so excited as when he arrives. He has made several friends here, and they play hard. I appreciate the daily report cards with photos and descriptions of his day. The daycare is next to a quiet public park, which allows him walks during his stay. If he could, my pup would give this place 10 stars!
I noticed my dog's smell was bothering me, so I decided to schedule an appointment at Mary Mac's. I'm a Black woman who tries to support Black-owned businesses, and a friend recommended this one. I took my dog there in July, but I wasn't that happy with the choppy haircut he received (see photo). However, the owner seemed good with my dog. When I tried to schedule the next appointment on Mary Mac's website, I couldn't select a date, so I called instead. The assistant booked me for September 25 at noon, the perfect time to drop off my dog at Mary Mac's and get back to work. On the day of the appointment, I made it home from work at exactly 11 am, allowing me enough time to grab lunch and pick up my puppy. When I arrived at the salon, I saw the owner, Courtney, talking to someone. After letting my puppy use the potty, I was ready to head inside. I opened the confirmation email on my phone and was eager to have a clean and cozy puppy. I was considering setting up recurring appointments every two months to avoid any last-minute rushes. I headed up the stairs. “I called you.” Courtney said and stared back. “I’m sorry?” “I called you. Your voicemail is full.” She explained that she couldn't groom my dog that day for personal reasons. “We been calling you.” She looked me up and down “I swear I didn’t get it.” “Mmmmhmm. You need to answer your phone.” I glanced down, scrolling through my call log. “You one of them people with a bunch of texts, huh?” She said. Her hands at either hip. “I am.” I tried to maintain my kindness and calmness. It was true. I am. Maybe, I missed it. Things happen. “How about tomorrow?” “I can’t leave work again.” “Friday?” “Work.” I returned to my car. My dog sat beside me, smiling, with his hair covering one of his eyes. I checked my call log but found no texts or calls from her or the Mary Mac number. Was she lying or mistaken, or was it all just a miscommunication? I’d call her. I looked up her number and gave her a call. “Are you sure that was me? I don’t see any calls or texts from you.” “My assistant and I. We both called.” “What number did you call?” “(xxx) xxx-xxxx.” “That’s not my number. It’s one digit off.” She paused. “Who made the account?” “Huh?” “The account is self-registered.” “I called to make my appointment. She took my number and email.” “But the account is self-registered.” I paused. Self-registered? Ma’am, be flipping for real. I resolved myself to get my money back and take my business elsewhere. “What happens to my $20 deposit?” “I’ll be a credit.” “I won’t get it back?” “No refunds. We don’t do refunds.” I couldn’t even get my money back for their mistake. Let me at least share my experience, I said. I won’t be going back to Mary Macs. They emailed me to confirm my appointment. (See photo.) Why not email me to cancel it? I called the number they said they called but the voicemail was full, and the name didn't match mine. They won't return my deposit. Their policy clearly states that all deposit monies will be refunded in case of cancellation initiated by them. (see photo). Make it make sense.
Courtney is absolutely the best! She is so attentative and kind to the dogs. She sends pictures and a report card of the doggies every day. I had my Chihuahua stayed there for a week and he was such a happy puppy! I will recommend MaryMac's anytime!
Ms. Cortney is the best. She adjusted her schedule to accommodate our grooming appointment in the midst of Hurricane Francine. Though there were several dogs in care that day, she was extremely patient with getting those out in a timely manner as the weather brewed and I’m sure parents were as busy and anxious doing hurricane preparations. She also boarded him for half day as well complimentary due to schedule adjustments on both ends. Our Ollie was visibly anxious this time around and though given medication, wasn’t able to calm down for his usual cut, so Ms. Cortney did a shave down in his best interest. He looks and smells great for our “hunker down”.
Our dog Suki always loves spending the day with everyone at MaryMacs. She is so happy and tired when she comes home. She has such a great time you can tell. The crew goes above and beyond to make events special for people who have dogs not children. They understand we love our dogs the same and they give them the same care you would expect for your children. I’ve raised 6 so I know the difference. They are wonderful.
MaryMac’s Doggie Retreat is just that…a wonderful place for dogs to “relax and rejuvenate.” Courtney is amazingly awesome with the services she provides and how she and her staff interact with your canine. It’s comforting to know that you are leaving your dog in the hands of caring professionals. This is Deuce’s second visit (boarding) and it will not be his last. He has already met some great new friends. Thank you Courtney for all that you do and continue to do!
They’re fantastic! Flexible on adjusting Jax’s assessment date, asked all the right questions before taking care of him and clearly let my answers inform the way they treated him. When I brought him back ten minutes after leaving (because I forgot something), he couldn’t wait to get back inside. Thank you so much y’all, what a relief that we found the right spot 😌
I brought my service dog Chloe to MaryMac’s Doggie Retreat for daycare. The moment we walked in the door we were treated like family. My Chloe was not used to other people. But she was shown love instantaneously. Needless to say, Chloe loves going to MaryMac’s Doggie Retreat so much that I am using one of the affordable packages, and I don’t have to worry about my house being in shambles when I get home from work. The location of MaryMac’s allows easy access on and off the GNO bridge.
I love MaryMacs! I know my dog is in good hands with the owner Courtney, and the rest of the staff. My dog loves it there, and they send cute doggy pics throughout the day 10/10
I have a HIGH energy, SOCIAL, never met a stranger dog. They have worked to learn his personality so that him, and the other campers, have a good day. I’ve moved since I started bringing him there and now drive 30 minutes (each way) out of my way because I refuse to bring him anywhere else. They treat Ziggy as if he was their own.
Zoro loves Camp Bow Wow. He is so excited to play with friends and have the staff love all over him.
I am very happy with Camp Bow Wow. My pup is treated so well there. I was nervous at first, leaving him there that first day, but the staff are so sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating to his (and my) needs. I have no doubts how much he is loved and well taken care of by everyone there.
I boarded my 2 large dogs for 3 nights. One was having trouble with anxiety and the staff worked so well with him and eventually he was able to play with the other dogs. They both got baths before coming home. There are cameras so you can check on your pets playing. The staff is really incredible, hard working and dedicated to pet care. I highly recommend for day camp or boarding.
We love Bow Wow and most importantly, so does Stanley, our 70 lb chocolate lab. He gets so excited to be there and play with his friends. And the staff are great with him, watching after all the dogs, and reporting in when we have an inquiry. We’ve also boarded Stanley and it’s the same story then. Highly recommended. Stanley wants to live there!
Everyone at Camp Bow Wow is so caring and patient. They all know my dog (he’s hard to miss), and are extra patient with some of his rescue-related behaviors. They give updates, and always take great pride in keeping their dogs socialized? Entertained, safe and loved.
This place is heaven for a pet owner. My puppy loves this place. He misses me but he knows he's going to be ok and I'll return to pick him up. The staff is amazing all the time when I come in. It amazes me how it's different people at the desk when I come in and when they ask me who I'm picking up and I say my dogs name, they know exactly who I'm talking about out of all the dogs there. Love them I give them a 20 out of 20.
We love taking our dog here! Prices are about what the industry offers if not a little lower so that's a plus. They've got a nice facility, really great hours, and they really love the dogs. The enrichment activities are just the cherry on top! Definitely recommend for daycare and boarding.
Our puppy needed to be socialized with other dogs and also had too much energy for us to handle alone. He goes to daycare 2x week and it’s made such a difference! Very happy to bring him here.
Camp Bow Wow is extended family . We love and appreciate each and every human who cares for our fur baby and grand fur baby . They take the time to get know each fur baby and their special personalities . We leave them knowing that they are well cared for daily and with the extended stays . The creative play during the day is so clever and special .
We love Pawlins!! Duke loves to go there and every time he leaves his tail is always wagging. We use them for their grooming services and day sitting. We love being able to watch him on the cameras while we are away. We recommend Pawlins to our friends and family all the time!
Gizmo loved it at Pawlins. We live in a Travel Trailer and sometimes site electric is very questionable. In NO this is definitely the case. Pawlins gave us the the peace of mind to know our fur baby was safe and cool in the hot weather while we enjoyed a day out in the French Quarter. They are awesome.
Today was my dog’s first interview and she spent a half day there. I found the facility clean, the staff courteous and ultimately my dog was safe. I watched her throughout the morning on the webcam. My pet also needed a vet analysis to update her records and it was convenient she could go right next door to the veterinary hospital affiliated with Pawlins.
My first experience with Pawlins was today getting my Yorkie groomed. Leonard did a phenomenal job! I will be a regular. The facility was so impressive. And the staff was kind and gentle with my sweet girl. I HIGHLY recommend!! 🩷 …
Everything was done timely, professionally and courteously. Our Bichon, Jake, has never looked better. Ashley did a great job.
Our buddies board their dog here. So when we had a last minute trip, we decided to try it instead of a pet sitter. It was great! the staff is super communicative (particularly when our pup was shy at first and a little intimidated), very easy to reach and the videos of play time were great. We also liked the rates. Would board here again
I'm So Excited For The Way That Ashley Cut My 🏙️🙏🏾💜💜♾️🚸🐶🐾🐶🐾 Hevan & Romelo Hair 🤷🏾 IS Cut 💂🏾💂🏾♠️ Thanks Pawlins Grooming. This Is There Forever ♾️❤️ Home 🏡 . Merry Christmas ⛄🎁 Too Each And Everyone Overhere At Pawlins 🐾🐾🏙️✨✨✨✨ …
The staff was very nice and friendly. I dropped off my cat for a 7 day stay. The place was very clean and didn’t smell at all like cats (or dogs for that matter). The report cards they sent were very cute- it included a picture and a little note “from the cat” like “meow, I’m doing well…” I’ve added pictures they sent me. It was easy to coordinate the cats stay, and drop off and pick up were seamless. The cat was clearly well cared for while there. They even washed the blanket we dropped him off with.
Can not say enough good things about Pawlins. I have been to other places and they all smelled really bad. Pawlins keeps their facility very clean and sanitized not to mention my pup loves going to play with all her friends. Every person is so nice and professional and friendly. Lucy, my dog also gets groomed here and they always do an amazing job on her. I highly suggest and recommend this place for all your fit babies needs.
Pawlins is the best! We’ve been taking our dog to get groomed here, and we toured for boarding incase ever needed. Good prices and options to pick from. The workers are nice and helpful and always happy to help my dog. She always comes back from grooming happy too
Love camp bow wow! My boys been to both locations in New Orleans. Excellent staff. Very accommodating. He always comes home tired out from all his playing. He seems to love all the workers there and they love him which is most important to me.
What can I say? My dog (Dumas) and I LOVE Camp Bow Midcity. From daycare to a weekly bath and our last-minute boarding location, the staff at CBW have become a highlight of our day. Even after more than 2 years, their love of my furry family and their friendly attitudes and attention to detail continue to be touch notch.
Love Bow Wow mid-city. I can a bit of a helicopter dog mom and they always put me at ease if I’m nervous. Great team and great environment for my energetic pup. AND they take awesome photos with the babes.
Our Great Dane MJ hadn’t been back to Camp Bow Wow in almost a year. We had to wait until she was old enough to get her spayed before she could return. The staff welcomed our HUGE, 150+ lbs, nervous girl back into the group with open arms. I know I spent the entire time she was there watching the live camera. Nervous Momma. It brought me a lot of joy and relief to see her around so many dogs without ANY issues. Way to go Camp Bow Wow staff! You’re the BEST!
Camp Bow Wow Mid-City is the best and my dog (Nova) love it there. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care.
Update! I'm still so grateful for Camp Bow Wow, especially Casey! Every single employee knows my dog (Bishop!) and they all seem genuinely happy to see her when she comes in. The other day I heard an employee singing to her as they brought her back to the corral. It's great to know such a great crew cares for my girl. Thanks, y'all!
Camp Bow Wow Mid-City is fantastic. And the biggest critic, my dog, loved it! She gets so excited when we pull up - that means the most to me!
Great staff, my dog absolutely loves it. We only take him for boarding so he knows hes going to be there for a few days, and without hesitation he just runs straight through the doors and doesnt look back.
My pup Duck loves it here. She’s pretty shy and reserved but lately she gets so excited, jumping to meet counselors and running back to the play group. Happy we found a place she loves and I trust
DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! My poor baby was neglected the entire time. I had to demand to pick him up early as he was whining in his own feces for hours and hours. I watched as he begged for attention and pets, and he was continuously ignored every single day. There was no “all day play,” for I watched as they kept him in his kennel suite for hours instead of playing. The neglect and mistreatment of my dog while paying very expensive rates was heartbreaking. I am just so heartbroken I left my dog there, and we will NEVER return. His bed was also destroyed due to the neglect. I also watched as two dogs were fighting completely UNATTENDED. This facility is not safe, nor does it care about your dogs happiness or wellbeing.
I take my dog here for daycare a few days a week and he is always *so* excited to go. While normally timid around other people, he wags his tail and eagerly rushes in when we arrive. When I pick him up, he's relaxed and clearly well-exercised. Mid City Animal House has multiple enclosures for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. Their staff are friendly, responsive, and clearly care about the animals. I'm really grateful to have found this business and I think my dog is too! Be sure to make reservations for daycare or boarding well in advance of holiday weekends. There are packages available for 10 or 20 visits for an overall discount.
I was anxious about boarding my 2 pups for their first time, but based on their reaction upon my return, it’s obvious that they really enjoyed their stay! They were happy to see me, but obviously relaxed and not stressed in the least. The reservation process was a breeze, and communication was smooth. We have another reservation upcoming and I feel confident that they’ll be in good hands again.
I can tell that this facility is well run and the staff care about the animals and care for them well. However, I’m giving this review to caution anyone with a particularly anxious dog considering this doggy daycare. They don’t really have the space to let dogs be alone for an adjustment period. My dog has separation anxiety and has done ok at another daycare (in Alabama, unfortunately)— but they had a separate yard for the dogs who needed a bit of space, and several staff— one of whom sat with my dog for a long time until he was calmer. This facility doesn’t really have the capacity for that (they only have one small yard space and two staff when I was there), and I don’t blame them for it, but it might be worth exploring other options if you have a pup who needs an adjustment period! They were understanding about our dog’s anxiety but we had to come get him after only about 15 minutes because they didn’t have the space/capacity to let him be on his own or in a quiet space for long and he became too worked up for them to safely keep him there. Again, reviewing to give information, not to talk down about this place. I’ve worked in a few doggy daycares and understand limits on space and staff! I appreciate the effort they made to make my boy comfortable, it’s just also up to me as a dog owner to find a good fit for my big scared dummy, and caution others with similar pups.
Everyone that works here is so incredibly nice, helpful and you can tell they really love their job and enjoy taking care of dogs. The first time I brought our pitbull puppy here I was under a ton of stress because my mom had just had a medical emergency and I had to fly to MI at very last minute notice, I called less than an hour before they closed, I got them the vaccination information from my vet and dropped our puppy off right before close, but the girl I spoke with on the phone (Chelsea, I think?) didn't rush us at all and even mentioned that there was no need to rush because they would be there for a bit anyways closing up. Overall this place is wonderful, and our puppy loves playing with the other dogs!
Our dog Mac stayed for three nights, and I think he loved it! I was a bit weary leaving our 1 y/o pup for the first time, the staff were courteous and supportive! There was a slight miscommunication about our friend picking up our dog for us, but it all worked out! Thanks for taking care of our Max! Hope he wasn’t too much of a handful :)
I usually don't write reviews but I have to say that out of the three boarding places I have taken my dog, Winston, I have enjoyed Mid City the most. It's always refreshing to know that the people that work here truly care about your dog. These people at Mid City do!! I am most comfortable taking my dog here and look forward to future boarding visits!
Such a great place, felt more like leaving my pet with a friend than a daycare. Also I have fluffy white boy dog and hate when he gets cut like a girl. The owner asked a lot of questions to ensure he came home looking his best. I am so please with his cut and the level of care my pet receives at mid city.
Took my chiweenie here for day care and to say for a night while visiting and he came back so relaxed and happy and exhausted from playing! The vibe here is great and he came back to us clean and without any sort of “dog kennel” smell. The people working here are nice too.
We moved from New Orleans this last weekend and it was hard to say good bye to Cali and Mid City Animal House for us and our pup, Macy. She has been going there since she was a puppy five years ago. Cali and her team always made last minute accommodations for our crazy schedules and Macy would always run up to the door ready for her stay. Before Macy we had an elderly poodle mix, Sadie, who spent her days cuddled up behind the desk when she was under the weather. Truly a home away from home for both of our dogs. Thank you!!
We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to board our dog on the days that we wouldn't be able to keep her with us. We inquired on their website and Cali immediately contacted us to set up the appointments. They did a great job with our dog Molly. Highly recommend!
