Alesha is one of the kindest and most generous people we have ever met! She made us feel at home, she offered us her room, she picked us up at the train station and then she took us back to the station when we had to leave. We really enjoyed the 10 days we spent in her lovely home as well as meeting Alesha, chatting and laughing with her. The house location is excellent, you can easily get to Central London by train, and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Molishska is a very calm and shy cat, taking care of her was absolutely easy and enjoyable. We are hoping to take care of Molishska and Alesha's house again in the future as it´s been a wonderful experience. Thanks for everything Alesha, it was a great pleasure meeting you and Molishska!!
Joshua and Zhei were easy to communicate with and a pleasure to deal from start to finish. Olive and Porkchop treated me like an old friend very quickly. Snuggly on the couch and in bed at night. They love people! Absolutely charming dogs. I didn’t go out much during this short stay but everything you need is within easy walking distance and I enjoyed the neighborhood. Public transport is convenient and car-sharing services like Uber readily available The house itself is very comfortable and I slept really well too, aided by the company of the dogs, of course. All in all, a terrific and enjoyable stay!
When Bex approached us to sit for her for the weekend we were not sure at first, as we had not looked after dogs and chickens before. However, having spoken to Bex and seen plenty of videos on how to look after Imber and the chickens we were reassured, (there are sheep as well but didn't need to care for them as we were only there for 2 days).We are so glad we agreed to sit, as Imber was an absolute treat - so well behaved, good natured and fun. An ideal dog for first timers like us! We loved taking her for walks in the surrounding countryside and playing fetch in the lovely garden. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and having fresh eggs for breakfast. The Annex where we stayed was very well appointed and comfortable and the main house open plan kitchen area was great for cooking and relaxing. We even enjoyed a game of tennis on the court! We would recommend this sit to anyone looking for a rural sit in a lovely home.
Nellie is a sweetheart. She is soft-hearted, obedient, and fun to take on walks. She easily crawls into your heart. The home is lovely, close to a lot of everything, and met all our needs. Grace is a great host. You’ll not go wrong accepting a sit fir this family.
