Jackson and I sat for Marijke and the lovely Kit Kat and Blake for one week and would highly recommend them to all. They are wonderful, kind-hearted and interesting people with a beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and furry company.

Ron and I felt immediately at home in Maarten and Anita’s very cosy house near the Belgian border in the south of the Netherlands. Anita gave us a description of the personality of each cat and clear guidelines as how to care for the cats and also for the poultry and fish they keep in their lovely garden. We enjoyed hearing the chickens cackle. The cats were very sweet. Flora and Julius were my favorites. :-)
Maarten and Anita gave us their guest room with double bed and their guest bathroom which has a new modern shower, sink and toilet. The village itself is small but very lovely. The location allows you to get to the nearest Belgian towns in minutes, while a trip to Antwerp is something like a 40 minute drive. Ron and I enjoyed the best of both the Dutch and Belgian cultures during our weekend stay in Ulvenhout at Maarten and Anita’s place. We had a very good time and we would like to back!

Debbie
Over the past two days, I had the pleasure of spending time with the wonderful Border Collie, Louie. From the onset of our interaction, the dog showcased himself as an intelligent and attentive pet. In these days, we not only took numerous walks in the fresh air but also played with various toys. Louie is very active and is excellent at playing fetch, which speaks volumes about the care and upbringing he has received from his owners. Feeding was hassle-free, as I was provided with clear feeding guidelines.

I'd like to highlight that, despite not being familiar with Louie beforehand, we quickly built a rapport. It's essential to treat Louie with respect and understand his boundaries, as with any creature. He is eager to meet new people, is incredibly curious, and will follow you wherever you go. Our time together left me with only positive impressions.

I am grateful to the owners for their trust and would be happy to care for their pet in the future. Debbie has a beautiful and welcoming home. It's located in a quiet area with friendly neighbors. There's a small grocery store just 5 minutes drive away and a large supermarket within a 15-minute drive. Although having a car would be convenient, Debbie's home is also just a 5-minute walk from a bus stop. There's mobile coverage and high-speed internet in the house, which allowed me to continue my work seamlessly. The property boasts a spacious backyard adorned with a lush lawn and sun loungers.
